Yeah, that Jew is responsible as well. Especially since his money groveling ways hypnotized Kanyon, Kidman and Saturn!

All reviews I read of it made it sound out like it was terrible. The trailers didn't look too promising either. It looks like two hours of Christian Bale and Freddy Rodreiguz sulking and yelling. Does Bale really need the paycheck after The Batman movies?

The men responsible for wrestling's downfall.

I saw Bobby Z last night at The Civic Center here in Portland. The show was sold out and it was as hot as hell in the arena. The Raconteurs were a capable opening act, I'd say about 10% of the audience was there to see them, but everybody stayed to see Dylan. The Raconteurs did an excellent cover of "Bang! Bang! (My Baby Shot Me Down)" The old Dylan fans seemed to enjoy them for the most part. Dylan was great of course. He was really into tonight's show, doing his little leg dance and whatnot. He even cracked a couple of smiles. He loves playing in Portland, every time he plays here it's a sell out. Anyways, here's the setlist; Portland, Maine Cumberland County Civic Center November 9, 2006 1. Cat's In The Well 2. Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues 3. Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again 4. High Water (For Charley Patton) 5. Tangled Up In Blue 6. When The Deal Goes Down 7. It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) 8. Watching The River Flow 9. Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I'll Go Mine) 10. Desolation Row 11. Highway 61 Revisited 12. Spirit On The Water 13. Summer Days (encore) 14. Thunder On The Mountain 15. Like A Rolling Stone 16. All Along The Watchtower Highlights of the night for me were "It's Alright Ma", "Watching The River Flow", "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Thunder On The Mountain"

Bah! All my candidates got slaughtered as expected. Still makes me upset for some reason. Olympia Snowe of course massacred Jean Hay-Bright (Democrat), 73% to 21% (That might be a record), the Green Party gubernatorial candidate I voted for got 10% (I was hoping for 15% but the polls released on Monday were so close I'm sure some people freaked and voted Democrat). The only thing that made me happy today was the fact that two Greens were elected to the Portland City Council and we won a school board race or two. And that Independent, Dexter Kamilwecz got 8% in his bid for U.S. Congress against Tom Allen (The incumbant Democrat) and the Republican candidate, when everybody was expecting him to get 5% or less. Hey I'll take small victories where I can. The Maine Green Party ain't nothin' to fuck with.

I voted for the Green Party candidate, Pat LaMarche for Governor. Democrat, Jean Hay Bright for Senate over Olympia Snowe and Indpendent, Dexter Kamilwecz for Congress over Tom Allen (Democrat incumbant) and Darlene Curley (Republican). None of them will probably win but damn it, King Kamala votes his hopes, not his fears! Polls were relatively packed considering I went at 3 in the afternoon, there was a good 25-30 people voting. And let me say, I am damn glad that Maine still uses paper ballots. Won't see any voting irregularities in the Pine Tree State. Even if there were, I doubt the news networks would care. *sobs*

And I'd vote for him, solely for that reason

I think that was part of his joke. Seriously I think the name Regan only would pick up a few percent points. Win an election? Hell no, but trick a few dumbasses but not win an election. Especially since Ron Regan's an atheist and the day America elects an atheist president will be the day pigs fly.

This really isn't surprising to me for some reason. The episode of Doogie Howser where he loses his virginity to a woman weren't convincing enough dammit!

It was an interesting show. The most interesting show of an interesting season (Not neccessarily good but interesting). It seems like every skit is a skit that takes place at the end of the night, not that that's a bad thing. It's just been a skit filled with bizarre skits, I feel as if the writers are just throwing crap at the wall and seeing what sticks. I thought last night's show was good, Laurie was a game host and Beck was a helluva musical guest.

Here in the great state of Maine, there are three elections, the elections for U.S. Senate (Olympia Snowe-R) and Congress (Tom Allen-D) are going to be absolute blowouts. Governor John Baldacci (D) is slightly favored to get re-elected, despite something like a 41% approval ratingbut it wouldn't be completely unrealistic if one of the challengers made a huge run in the last two and half weeks and defeated him. Personally, I'm a registered member of The Green Party and I'm voting a straight ticket as much as possible. *cue "You're wasting your vote KKC" comments*

What about 80s Ric Flair? He barely won hismatches but he was a fantastic champ. I'm not saying Booker is a great champion but I don't see how anybody can say he was worse than Rey. -
Does anybody else besides me think they aren't going to release every season of SNL on DVD? I think they're going to release the first five, then skip to 84-85(The Christopher Guest/Billy Crystal/Martin Short year, which if it does come out on DVD, I'm SOO fucking buying it), then skip to sometime in the late 80s, release DVDs till like 94-95 then skip till 96-97 and go on releasing seasons until after Ferrell left then skip and they'll release the last season or two.

I saw her naked before she went skinny. My goal was complete. The only one lost was Lindsay Lohan. lnk plz

30 Rock sucked I thought, Baldwin and Tracy Morgan were OK but they've done a lot better.

I only saw about the first 40 minutes of the show due to the fact I had to wake up early. Besides the New York City Stories vignettes and the monologue (For some reason Bill Hader dressed as Col. Saunders dancing killed me) , I thought it was pretty weak. I think if the John C. Reiley show doesn't kick fourteen flavors of ass, then I'm going to be disapointed. I feel so far this season, they've been taking more chances, sometimes it's worked but it mostly hasn't but I think they're slowly working their way out of the slump. I just wish they did more of a shakeup.

I doubt it- from what I hear, Dylan's opening acts rarely ever see Bob Dylan backstage, let alone coverse or collaborate with him. Still, it'd be fantastic if by some chance it did happen, Dylan is Jack White's idol.

Or perhaps; "Great Dane barks up laughs in Employee of The Mouth"

I must have been the only guy who liked Rocket Man, Harland Williams' only ever starring role. I've seen it at least 3 or 4 times and when I showed it to my friends they were all like "I don't see how you can think this is funny." And it was only in theaters for like a week when it was released in 97/98ish. Also I enjoyed last week's SNL, for the most part, Dane Cook's monologue sucked but he's decent when he's in skits. He plays a solid straight man. Edit: Wait, Ebert gave Rocket Man ***, even though it was one of those *** reviews where he's like "I don't know why I'm giving this movie ***, it was pretty insipid but what the hell?"

Some reviewer said it was Scorsese's best since Casino and I'd be hard pressed to disagree. Nicholson's role will go down in the pantheon of great Jack Nicholson roles. Go see this movie!

No, we have The Racounteurs opening up for Dylan.

Guns 'N' Roses are coming. Tickets are $65 and $45. Kind of a ripoff to see Tubby McGee and some guys who aren't Slash. I might have bought tickets if they had $30 tickets and I hadn't already bought tickets for Bob Dylan, The New Cars and Second City in a two week span.

I think in 98 (and even into the first Russo era in WCW), WWF had great main events and mediocre undercards while WCW had great undercards and mediocre main events. I also liked Royal Rumble '99 and SummerSlam '99. Yeah, the rest of the pay per views that year were pretty much crappy but I have a soft spot in my heart for those two and I don't know why.
