What was up with Jake Roberts' ECW run? They barely gloss over it on the DVD.

It was cable access bad. Not joking, it was literally like watching an incredibly mediocre karaoke night on TV.

It was a good but a bit underwhelming show last night. Rey/Booker was again damn good. Finlay/Regal was solid with the time given but I just want them to have 15-20 minute to have a stiff no frills brawl with no Lil' Bastard. Sylvester Terkay was decent but he was much more impressive when I saw him at a house show in June against Gunner Scott. I think JBL is definitely improving, his banter and chemistry with Cole still needs a bit of work but has gotten way better since Day One. My favorite line of the night was when JBL commentented on Sylvan during his entrance JBL: Aw man....this guy SUCKS! It's funny because it's true.

I'll be watching tonight because I'm at my family's camp and I only have five channels up there. Doesn't sound like a very good show but it should be better than RAW and (WW)ECW. Looking forward to Finlay Vs Regal, hopefully it's better than their GAB match.

ABC's American Idol ripoff, The One has been cancelled after two weeks. It's premiere had the lowest ratings for a series premiere on a big four network since 1990 (And that show in 1990 was on Fox which was an infant network back then). 'Tis a shame as me and my father bonded in mocking the sub-American Idol contestants on the show and the judges they seemingly pulled out of nowhere. Here's an exact piece of dialogue Contestant after warbling "The Weight" goes to hear criticism from show's Randy Jackson ripoff. Judge: Man I nevah even heard that joint before but you sure took a load off of Annie. Man that was hot! White judge gets mad at him for not having ever heard "The Weight"

That's one of the few wrestling VHS' they have at a video store nearby (at any video store) I know Eddie wins the title there but is the undercard any good? They also have Vengence and No Mercy 2004, are those any good?

You know for the last couple of years I never saw what the big deal was with Batista but the guy's starting to grow on me. I went to my first WWE show in years a month ago and the main event was Batista's unofficial return match teaming up with Rey Rey against King Booker and Marc Henry and he just had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hands. They were just going apeshit over the guy. He's kind of like a more talented Ultimate Warrior with a sense of humor.

Hey now, I saw Aaron Stevens back when he was an indy wrestler making an appearence at a show literally up the street from me back in '02. If I knew then... This would make the second person from the former local indy that's appeared in WWE, the first being Palmer Cannon. Palmer Cannon was actually a fairly decent wrestler back when I saw him. I'm a bit surprised they never used him as a wrestler. Speaking of Palmer Cannon, my dad actually finished ahead of him in a five mile road race on Saturday. OK, I'm going way off topic there. Back on topic, I'm glad to see they're doing something to help Smackdown's depleted roster, even if it is bringing up OVW and DSW guys.

I'd like to see Charlie Haas moved to Smackdown. I mean he could be a solid #3 or #4 face there and temporarily replace Lashley while he's out in the feud with the King's Court. What do you think WWE is going to do with Smackdown once it premieres on CW? I heard someone talking about a Ministry of Darkness revival (shudders). I wouldn't mind an Undertaker heel turn, a heel Undertaker Vs Batista could be a formidable SD! main event for WrestleMania 23.

Not only have I had Moxie but I own two Moxie shirts since Lisbon Falls, Maine is the unofficial Moxie festival and has Moxie festival every July (it was two weekends ago). That being said, it's a drink I can only have on occassion due to the terrible aftertaste and difficulty to drink. I'd say it's the hardest soda to chug but since it's only available in Maine and in specialty stores, I don't know how many peeps will agree with me.

Why couldn't King Booker win in some screwy fashion at SummerSlam and then Batista win it at No Mercy? I know Batista winning the title back is inevitable but dammit I want King Booker's reign to last more than a month.

All Hail King Booker! As a Booker T mark since 1997, I can say this is one sweet night! I hope he can keep the title past SummerSlam and then maybe lose it to Batista in a rematch. Wishful thinking I guess but a man can dream. All hail King Booker!
