Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I guess if they play their cards right and promote it well 4,000 wouldn't be a stretch. Boston has a solid contingent of wrestling fans.

Tonight on a dramatic edition of Smackdown!, Funaki holds Teddy Long hostage!

I'm about two hours and fifteen minutes away from the arena- I hope they get closer (Come on TNA, a show in Maine or New Hampshire= Huge money!) The Tsongas Arena holds 7,000, which is probably a bit too big for TNA since I don't think they'd draw more than 1,500 with the house show cards I've seen. Unless maybe they bring Sting and Kevin Nash but even then it's a bit of a stretch to think more than 2,000 or so people will come.

See that's the only reason why I watch Hogan Knows Best! The moments involving The Hulkster. I think the problem with Hogan Knows Best is the same problem that killed The Osbournes. They forgot that Hulk was the most interesting part of the show (Ozzy in the Osbournes case) and decided to focus on the incredibly uninteresting kids. In fact, I'd say Hulk's kids are even less interesting than Ozzy's.

Here's what looks to be the final card for the Smackdown! house show I'm going to on Saturday. The main events are lackluster but the undercard should be fun; World Heavyweight Championship Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Henry Undertaker vs. The Great Khali (w/Daivari) United States Championship Lashley vs. Finlay Tag Team Championship Match Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Jamie Noble & Kid Kash WWE Cruiserweight Championship Gregory Helms vs. Super Crazy Tatanka vs. Mr. Kennedy Funaki vs. Vito Jillian vs. Kristal Also featuring: Matt Hardy, Mr. Kennedy and more! I'm hoping they do a last minute switch and replace Marc Henry in the main with Booker T and put Marc Henry in the match with Undertaker instead of Khali.

Believe me, wrestling shows draw hicks. I've gone to about a dozen wrestling shows (WWE,WCW and indy) in the Portland, Maine area where I've grown up and each show with the exception of one or two have been absolutely infested with hicks. This is in New England for Christ sakes!

Yeah, well partially (he co-wrote it with some regular movie composer). He has like 5 or 6 new songs on the soundtrack too (Including a Rockin' The Suburbs remake with William Shatner from what I hear).

I really enjoyed it. Call me crazy but this was my favorite CGI movie since Finding Nemo. Really cute movie and a score by Ben Folds (one of my favorites) to boot.

A CKY album (I don't know why I thought that was a good idea to buy that. I must have gone overboard with my brief Jackass fanaticism). I listened to five songs. Not horrible for its type of music, overall very eh. Fozzy-Happenstance. Listened to like three songs. Again I went overboard with my Chris Jericho fanaticism. The man can't sing that well. I bought a Tears for Fears Greatest Hits album but two or three days after I bought it, just as I was going to listen to it, I couldn't find it.

Songs: I've always been a huge fan of The Night Santa Went Crazy. Alburquerque is a close second however. Video: I'm going to go with Amish Paradise or Fat. Fat, mostly for the beginning. Ding dong, baby! Ding dong!

That's a quote from one of the WWF World Tour tapes uttered by Tenta. Here's another great Tenta quote I just remembered I'M NOT A SHARK DAMMIT! I'M A MAN.....and my name is John Tenta!

Did Andre The Giant have any solo or tag matches (I'm not counting any Giant Machine matches) between his return to the WWF after filming the Princess Bride and his match with Hulk at WrestleMania III? Similar question, was Giant Gonzalez's match with The Undertaker at Summerslam 93, his last or did he wrestle a couple of matches as a face? I just thought the idea of Giant Gonzalez as a face was too bizarre for WWF fans to handle.

His match with Goldberg at Fall Brawl 2000 from what I hear (Haven't gotten the chance to see it) is shockingly entertaining and is in the ***- ***1/2 range.

I heard a story from a friend who went to an indy TV taping that took place a couple of years. The show was completely amateurish and started 90 minutes late and lasted something like 4 and 1/2 hours and the featured attraction was ol' Hacksaw. Only 75 or so people showed up, but during the course of the taping, Hacksaw was willing to talk to any fan who wanted to. Now if that's not love of the sport I don't know what is. Now I'm not saying this is the case for the majority of the guys, but I'd like to believe that deep down, it's for the love of the sport. However, seeing things like the Heroes of Wrestling pay per view kind of go against that. "You want 21 well I got 22"

Pro wrestling, film and music history. I also love documentaries, about 75% of the movies on my NetFlix queue are documentaries. The other 25% is a mixture of season sets of cop shows and wrestling.

I got Short Circuit and Midnight Express in the 2 for $11 section at WalMart. Midnight Express was called The 20th Anniversary edition yet it has no special features. Not much of an anniversary edition. Harumph.

Why did Marty Jannetty disappear so soon after HBK superkicked him through the Barber Shop window? If I remember correctly, Jannetty was supposed to be in the 92 Royal Rumble. Was it drugs? An injury?

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

First one was October 18th, 1999 till right before Souled Out 2000 in January. The second was April 10th, 2000 till sometime early in the summer of 2000. He quit but decided to come after shortly there after and then quit/got fired sometime after the October 2nd, 2000 Nitro where he told Goldberg he had to match his 176 and 0 winning streak or be fired. -

I liked Royal Rumble 94 mostly for nostalgiac reasons (It was one of the first tapes I remember renting as a young mark, right after it came out on VHS) but I wouldn't put it as one of the worst pay per views of all time. The Harts Vs The Quebecers was a fun match. Owen's heel turn was classic (With the exception of the messup in the post match interview) The Royal Rumble was pretty rockin' till the screwy finish, take away the screwy non finish and it'd be one of my three or four favorite Royal Rumble. It's more forgettable than horrible (With the exception of the terrible -
Here's the updated card for the house show I'm going to in two weeks. Needless to say it doesn't look too good. Triple Threat Match World Heavyweight Championship Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Henry vs. Kurt Angle Undertaker vs. The Great Khali (w/Daivari) United States Championship Lashley vs. Finlay Tag Team Championship Match Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Jamie Noble & Kid Kash WWE Cruiserweight Championship Gregory Helms vs. Super Crazy Matt Hardy vs. Sylvan Also featuring: Mr. Kennedy, Scotty 2 Hotty, Funaki and more! *sigh* At least I only got cheap seats.

Has King of The Ring 99 been mentioned? If not, I think that deserves more hate. Billy Gunn winning the King of The Ring. A terrible Rock-Undertaker match. The match of the night being The McMahons Vs Steve Austin in a 2 on 1 ladder match with the ludicrous "higher power" angle. -
I might see a big oldies concert at an outdoor ampitheatre in the middle of nowhere in New Hampshire about an hour from my house. Hippiefest 2006 at Meadowbrook Farms in Gilford, New Hampshire Blood, Sweat and Tears Rare Earth Mountain The singer from The Hollies (Not Graham Nash, the other dude) The Rascals Badfinger Melanie All emceed by Wavy Gravy. If tickets aren't too expensive, I might go.
