So much for getting exciting clutch games on The MLB package. Today's games; Rockies Vs Mets Tigers Vs Twins Angels Vs Rangers *sigh* a whole night of garbage games. I guess it's just boxing for me tonight.

I've only met Tony Atlas and Tatanka in terms of wrestlers that wrestled for major organizations. Tony Atlas was a nice guy- almost too nice. I met him a Toys for Tots benefit at a used car dealership back in 2000 IIRC. I dropped off my toy and he gave me four tickets to an indy card featuring himself, Brutus Beefcake, a Doink, The Bushwhackers, Public Enemy, Kamala and The Headshrinkers. But my parents wouldn't let me go because it was a school night. Anyways, Tony was chatting our ears off for a good 5 minutes before we parted ways. I didn't know what the fuck he was saying except he started rapping about being on MTV True Life. Tatanka, I met shortly before his heel turn in 94 at an autograph signing at a video store. He looked tired and a bit bored. Oh I forgot Scotty 2 Hotty grew up like twenty minutes away from me, I met him three years ago at an autograph signing at a grocery store, he also looked bored and tired. I don't think he even said hi and he barely made eye contact with me.

Sorry bout that, I must have missed that. I don't really know why I even put the one and only part over this thread, it wasn't really neccessary. Again sorry.

The weird thing about the female folk singer opening up for Weird Al is before a couple of her songs, she started telling stories about the jerk ex boyfriends she had. Those stories didn't resonate with the audience comprised almost entirely of ten year old boys and their parents.

A female folk singer opening up for Weird Al Yankovic back in 99. Just completely out of place. I never thought I'd hear the sound of 1000 8 year olds booing.

Show me the executive who said "You know who's funny? Michael Rappaport....we should give him a sitcom by golly!" and I'm going to light a bag of dog poop on fire and stick it on that that executive's front porch.

When did Haku leave the WWF the first time? IIRC, he was a participant in the 92 Royal Rumble but I don't remember him in WWF after that until he returned in 01.

I was at the Patriots game last night and saw the brief performances from Green Day, Santana and Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy was the best, even though it was obvious he was lipsynching, the whole crowd was just going apeshit the whole time he was up there and Ozzy looked the best he has in years. I have a question regarding Santana, when was the last time Carlos had the same singer with the touring band for more than one tour? Does he change the singer every tour?

From Survivor Series 93 Stu Hart is in the front row watching the Harts Vs The Black Knights match and he's wearing a satin Boston Bruins jacket with a big roaring Bruin on the back. Bobby Heenan: Hey, Stu has a picture of his wife on the back of his jacket.

A homemade apple turnover from a local bakery in the middle of nowhere and a cup of 2% milk to wash it down.

My Name is Earl, Everybody Hates Chris, Family Guy, The Simpsons and Arrested Development is about it for network TV that I'm checking out this season regularly. After that, there are a whole slew of show, I check in on on occassion. Everybody Hates Chris is the first show that I've seen commercials for on UPN, and have said "Hey that might be funny."

Daniel Bedingfield actually had a minor hit in the U.S. two years ago IIRC with Gotta Get Through This and hasn't really been heard of here in the States since. Good riddance.
-
I thought Bobby Heenan was slightly underrated during his first few years of WCW, but from 98 on, he just half assed it like everyone else and was mediocre. Even at his mediocre state, he was still 10x better than that fat piece of shit, Mark Madden.

Sorry, if this question has been answered, but where was King Kong Bundy in the eight years between his two WWF stints? Indies, I'm guessing. I never understood why AWA, NWA or WCW never decided to sign him.
-
Hey, is Backland in the 89 EWR as a free agent? If so, I'd pick him up. He'd fit extremely well in AWA IMO. If we do an EWR competiton for 89, I call WWF. I love 89 WWF for some weird reason.
-
Is it Haku? If so, that would be an incredibly pleasent surprise. Anything with Haku in it brightens my day.

What's wrong with Orndorff? I always thought he was a solid worker as either a mortal enemy to the Hulkster or even as a lacky to the skullet headed one. I think you should pick up Paul Orndorff and make him your top face. I just don't picture Bundy as a solid babyface, although he kind of looks like a big 400 pound baby now that I think about it.

Hate to sound nitpicky, but you shouldn't of said it's the AWA debut of Stan Hansen considering he held the AWA World title for six months in 85/86. Other than that I really liked the first Wednesday Night Warriors show.
-
I thought that picture of Wendi Richter was a picture of Stevie Nicks.
-
How about the AWA International belt? Sure it's a ripoff of the Intercontinental title, but hey, nobody was watching AWA in 1989.

I almost bought a Savio Vega t-shirt at a house show back in July of 96. Luckily cooler heads prevailed and I bought a Shawn Michaels foam finger which my dog promptly chewed up.
-
Just have him and Zbysko cut promos on each other and hope for the best.

AWA Wednesday Night Warriors? How about Wednesday Night Wrestling?

If going to see bands at small county fairs counts, I might be seeing John Cafferty AND The Beaver Brown Band in October. Should be some fun people watching.
