Bryan Singer In Talks To Direct X-Men 3
King Kamala replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
you could just have gambit with one of the other women like jubilee or shadowcat -
Awesome and right on the dot comparison. Rollins is a bit more angry than Foley, but still pretty much on the dot. How about Kelly Osbourne= Ed Leslie. Kelly isn't really metal and Ed isn't really a wrestler. Either way both are constantly pushed by a powerful family or friend (Ozzy and Hogan). Both are constantly changing their image to find some form of success while constantly hanging around with their famous friends.

Considering the almost complete lack of superstars or even stars (With exception of Delgado and Roy Halladay), the Jays have kicked ass. They've hanged in until Late August for the past several years. I think they're one star away from an awesome team.....that star is Kerry Ligtenberg.

Don't buy too much music( All I bought this year was remasters) but I'll do short reviews of the two concerts I went to. Paul Rodgers/ Kansas: June 28, Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom (Hampton Beach, New Hampshire). Started with a decent coverband, who's frontman was a dead ringer for Sam Kinison. Kansas performed a surprisingly unsucky set that's only fault was for being long and at time mind numbingly boring. Closed with Dust in the Wind, geriatrics went apeshit. Paul Rodgers came on next and blew them off the stage in almost every aspect. The whole crowd was singing along to every song with the exception of the one or two solo songs in his set. Closed the show with Rock and Roll Fantasy and a decent Beatles medley. Only negative was he didn't play Bad Company and Radioactive. ZZ Top/Ted Nugent: September 3rd, Cumberland County Civic Center (Portland, Maine). Ted Nugent wasn't great technically, but his between song banter, his kickass stage show and his music was loud and it rocked, which is all an opening act needs to do. Closed with an extended version of Stranglehold. ZZ Top also kicked ass, they've perfected everything to a tee. Their set, their between song banter, everything. ZZ Top got the crowd in with their hits at the beginning, kept them coming with a few minor hits and album tracks, lost them with their new stuff and got them back with their hits. Closed with La Grange and Tush.

I bet Gigli grosses more in DVD rental and sales than it did in theaters. I know several people who want to see how bad it is.

Well if we're doing mid 90's bands I'm gonna one up you all and say Gin Blossoms (10). Good lord that band sucked.

Anyone knows where I can get a soccer jersey...

$60 for MLS jerseys on Amazon.com What no love for the American soccer? You know what? all of you can go fuck yourselves. -
I gotta agree with ya Brunzell, a record deal is a record deal. I don't care if you're on Apple records or a Dreamstreet owned record label. Congrats to you and your lil bro Brian.

IROD would be a HUGE addition to the Cubbies. It's an ideal addition. With Sammy and IROD providing the offensive pop and Prior and Wood as #1 and #2 pitchers it's gonna be awfully hard to screw up.

I gotta see Gigli...seriously, I want to see how BAD it really is. I don't think it can be worse than any other run of the mill Hollywood romantic comedy crap.

Sorry to sound like an ass, but the NFC championship technically wasn't the last game at the Vet. It was a meaningless Phillies- Braves game.

At Wrestlemania XVII my main man KAMALA stood on Regal's desk.

Both Jim Carrey and Robin Williams need to have at least somewhat good supporting casts around them. In fact the most underrated aspects of comedies is the supporting cast. Just look at Carrey's movies, has he ever made a good movie without a solid supporting cast? Funniest person of all time is way too broad of a subject but I can name the most underrated comedian right now has to be Zach Gallafinakis (I don't know how the fuck to spell his fucking name). Anybody who can kick ass even in Bubble Boy has to get some respect and Out Cold is damn good for a cheesy teen comedy. His stand up and short lived talk show were awesome to boot. My least favorite comedian has got to be Eddie Griffin. No wonder why every movie he's starred in has been a bomb. Stand up isn't funny, movies aren't funny and every time he appears on TV I got the urge to grab a megaphone and tell the nearest Hollywood executive "THE FUCKER'S NOT FUNNY!"
-
I saw it once and thought it was fucking retarded. Seriously the only way I would find this funny is if I was twelve and on crack. That and Hurt Bert (Jackass ripoff) probably make up the worst non-UPN lineup on TV.

That's hillarious but why was it such a detriment to the Pirates? Did they sign Bell to a huge contract?

I got tickets for the Celtics Vs Mavs at the Fleet Center next week....should be a big squash for the Mavs. If I see Mark Cuban I'll say hi to him from all the SmartMarks.
-
Is thinking the Royals will win the AL Central really "bold"? I think they can do it, Tony Pena's a helluva manager and MOST of the team from last year is returning.
-
The Celtics suck suck suck! DAMMIT WE'RE WORSE THAN THE CLIPPERS and KNICKS! Paul Pierce can carry a team my ass....
-
I gotta agree with the Vince Russo comparison. Hated by 99% of the audience, but has a miniscule fanbase that's very vocal (and annoying). Both known for making outrageous and retarted statements better suited for 12 year olds than grown men

I would've voted for Mandy Moore but I settled for Pink.

A bad year for New York sports teams, is considered a monumental year by say a Pittsburgh or Milwaukee sports teams.
-
Tietam Brown, I'd give it **3/4 stars out of *****. Not bad but it's Foley's worst book so far (I'm not counting his children's books).
-
I'd say Fred Durst is more of the Sean Waltman (Post 99 Sean Waltman of course) of metal. Both of their fan bases are almost non-existant and consist of 13 year old posers.

Pats-Colts was a spectacular game, possibly GOTY candidate. Good God I've been reading this board too much......
