WWE is now paying the price for using so much pyro. The entire arena is in a haze.
-
Oh man, they're starting the show with promos. The 'net is going to be raving about this show for years.
-
Does anyone know of any non-Torrent sites that are good for downloading TV shows? Particularly old ones.
-
What the hell was with that Miz promo?
-
If Rick is signed with Scott... AMW vs. STEINER BROTHERS! Hahaha NO. NO NO NO NO NO.

Let's do some spring cleaning on folder subtitles.
BUTT replied to The Czech Republic's topic in Site Feedback
I thought "General Wrestling - Formerly Colonel Wrestling" was funny. But for whatever reason they changed it to the lengthy subtitle we see now. -
Road Wild ended with a Travis Tritt concert!

Excellent idea. Hell, she could even have Crono's board, it'd be mostly the same thing she has here with the people she has on her ignore list.

That was during the "rock is dead" period, where every mainstream rock band became convinced that in order to survive they had to modernize their sound by infusing it with electronic elements, or in Manson's case, trying to re-create the glam rock of the 1970's. Once nu-metal became the rage, Marilyn reverted back to his old form.

Tell me more.

I've never seen Bash '91, but I refuse to believe that it's the worst pay-per-view ever. I mean I'm sure it's pretty bad, but there's no way it's worse than say, Road Wild '98. I don't think the internet would be so dead set against the show if its myth hadn't spent nearly a decade being propagated by useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron useless moron Scott Keith.

It's the WWE we're talking about, my friend. Lots of people here want to watch it fail miserably, see Vince go bankrupt and Triple H suffer a career-ending injury. Then they'll be happy. The way I see it, SNME used to be so loved back in the day partly because you got to see the established stars face each other, which you didn't see on TV that often, if at all. I know that when I watched the SuperStars TV show most that I got to see where jobbers being squashed. SNME meant Hogan vs a big heel. It meant Savage vs Hogan with special ref Buster Douglas. It meant Rockers vs Brainbusters. It had that big-time aura that just wasn't prevalent on any other WWF show at the time. Now we have RAW and SD! every week and we're used to seeing this kind of matches all the time. So I figure it'll be a disappointment in the sense that it won't have that big-time feeling, but if the show is good nonetheless then I'll be satisfied. Um, if you had looked at the second sentence in that post, you'd be able to tell that I was being completely facetious.

As soon as I saw this thread title on the main page, I knew it would be Thumbtack posting something from anus.com. Seriously.

Double post!

Oh sorry, the "match list" spoilers I posted were fake. I fucked up. The real ones remain.

Guys, why are you so negative? It's not like Vince has ever failed on Saturday Night on NBC before.
-
It won't disappoint me because I'm not expecting anything from it. People, Saturday Night's Main Event is just a name. It's not the return of '80s wrestling, it won't be anything like the old SNME, and there will be no Animotion theme song (and unlike seemingly everyone here, I recognize that the last part is a good thing). It seems all the posters here are expecting some giant nostalgia trip, and they're not going to get it.

http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/h...t.asp?aID=15646 Norman Smiley? Nice. The first show actually looks really good. The second one, not so much.

She looks better than Candice.

I liked Flair when he was the "CEO" of WCW. Not when he was the crazy president getting sent to the mental institution, but the three-month period in late 2000 when he was the face CEO, he didn't wrestle, he didn't get into fights with wrestlers, and he was treated with dignity. (WWF had this for about three weeks when he first came in as co-owner before he started his feud with Vince) Then when he turned heel, they pissed it away. But that's the role I'd like to see Flair in. He should be the new Raw GM.

I fully expected Norman to be wearing his football outfit. I must say he looked dumb wearing trunks and boots with no kneepads.
