The presence of Korn and Manson's cover of "Tainted Love", as well as two songs just released last year, taint this list. Good choice for #1, though. It's funny, considering Axl hates Kerrang.

Russo just liked to surprise people. I always thought it was dumb, because Road Dogg and Gunn were both pretty heavily involved in the angles which led to their originally scheduled Wrestlemania matches, and then all of a sudden they switched places.

Well, you've got to keep in mind that all the Great American Bashes prior to '88 were house shows, not PPV's. From '85-'87, there wasn't just one Great American Bash event, it was a tour which ran shows in stadiums and arenas all over the south throughout the summer.

I'm sure this game is really good, but nudity and sex in a video game is really fucking lame. I understand if it's used for comedy, like in the old Leisure Suit Larry games, but in a "serious" game to be used for titillation.........come on.

I really hope they don't come out with a new Game Boy that soon. If Nintendo is working with three devices which all have 3D capabilites, they will be stretching themselves REAL thin. Keep in mind, while the features of the DS like touch screen and mic look cool, a lot of people and developers are just interested in it because it's the cool new high-tech device, and once Nintendo releases a more powerful handheld, companies like EA and Activision will ditch the DS in favor of the new Game Boy. So I would like Nintendo to hold off for a couple of years on a new Game Boy. The problem with this is the fact that, since the GBA is almost dead now, they can't let the Game Boy brand stagnate, lest the public forget about it. From a purely business standpoint (without regard for the "innovation" Nintendo constantly preaches about), were I running Nintendo I would have forgone the creation of the DS in favor of a new Game Boy which would have been released in November 2005. While I understand Nintendo's eagerness to launch a pre-emptive strike against Sony, I can't help but think they're falling into one of the same traps Sega fell into (releasing too much damn hardware). Despite this, I think the DS's features look really promising, but I don't think there have been any games released so far which really take advantage of the system's potential. By the way, how well do you people see the PSP selling? It's been outselling the DS for a while in Japan, but I'm not sure about its fortunes in the US. Sony basically held off on advertising it on TV until this week, which I think was a pretty dumb move considering how much of a huge deal it is to their corporate resurgence.

Of course Cena is going to rip off rappers, that's the only way he can be remotely convincing in his gimmick. It's not like he's going to start a new hip-hop trend on his own.

Didnt you watch the prematch stuff? Oh yeah.......I guess I missed that. I was out and I came in during the introductions.

Now, excuse me, but.....WHAT differences have Michelle and Dawn Marie had recently? Are they just making this feud up?

You could tell what he was saying?!

Well, people, I'm sorry to say that your opinions on this matter are irrelevant. There is only one man in the world whose political opinions matter, and he has spoken: And surprisingly, he doesn't think Schiavo should be kept alive, although I'll be damned if I can figure out what his point is: http://www.ultimatewarrior.com/03.22.05.htm So there!

I can't believe you guys have forgotten the greatest internet lie of all time: "Next Saturday, I'm gonna do it!!!"

Keep in mind there's no guarantee that those are real.

I should be a man, according to CronoT.
BUTT replied to The Czech Republic's topic in No Holds Barred
What does it take to be a man? What does it take to see It's all heart and soul A gentle hand? So easy to want and so hard to give How can you be a man 'Till you see beyond the life you live? Oh, what does it take to be a man? We can be blind, but a man tries to see It takes tenderness For a man to be what he can be And what does it mean If you're weak or strong? A gentle feelin' can make it right or make it wrong What does it take to be a man? The will to give and not receive The strength to say what you believe The heart to feel what others feel inside To see what they can see A man is somethin' that's real It's not what you are It's what you can feel It can't be too late To look through the hate and see I know that's what a man can be -
I always liked Flair's purple robe. This one:

Thomas Haden Church cast as villain for Spider-Man
BUTT replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
I heard this is the last movie No way. Sony wants to do NINE Spider-Man movies. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the last one Raimi does, though. -
Oh sorry I meant did WWF have at Saturday Morning Show on USA before Mania? That was a mistake on my part.

It was the first Smackdown with the new "fist" set, right before Summerslam '01. I watched Summerslam 01 just two days ago, and there were no motion graphics. They didn't constantly use the motion graphics. For instance, I recall that they would use them on Smackdown but not on Raw. But I'm 99% sure they debuted them on the Smackdown right before Summerslam 2001, which was the first one with the new set. Here are a couple of questions: 1) How and when did Honky Tonk Man return to WWF in '96? I've pinpointed the time to somewhere right after IYH: It's Time, but I don't really remember nor can I find many specifics on how he returned. 2) When did the WWF Spotlight TV show air? Was it just on MSG Network? Did WWF have a Saturday morning show on USA before Mania premiered and what was it called? When did Superstars and Wrestling Challenge debut? Cawthon's site says Superstars debuted in '86, but TV Tome says '84 (and yes I know Cawthon's site is much more reliable than TV Tome when it comes to WWF programming but hey, I can't be sure about everything)? When did Challenge end? I've read that it ended at the end of the '94/'95 TV season, but I remember some time after Mr. Perfect came back as a commentator in late '95 Dok Hendrix mentioned Perfect as being his "partner on Challenge". Since Challenge wasn't airing in my area at that time I really didn't know what he meant, but did Challenge continue as a clip show throughout that season?

That's right, don't compare us to those pussies.

What's even more awesome is that Stevens is 81. 81! And he wears a Hulk tie.
-
Little bitch? He was wearing an Incredible Hulk necktie! If that don't make you a man, what does?

I had no idea Teddy Long was that old. But then, he has been in wrestling for a long time.
