Kerry: -U.S. Senator for 20 years. -Lt. Governor of Massachussettes. -2004 Democratic nominee for President of the U.S. -Former Naval officer. -Yale graduate. Limbaugh: -Host of popular radio show where he's the only person allowed to talk. -Former radio DJ. -Flunked out of college. He's a political joke with nary a compelling thought or interesting vision to speak of. Oh come on, Rush isn't THAT bad.

I honestly didn't consider it racist. But since everyone on the internet at the time was up in arms about everything Russo booked in WCW being "OMG RACISM!! WCW IS RACIST AND SO IS RUSSO!" I thought that's what HTQ was referring to given the fact that Juvy using a tequila bottle was the only thing I remember about the match that was different from whatever else he was doing at the time.
-
Juvy beat Liger by hitting him with a tequila bottle.

David the Gnome died? Jesus, that's just plain fucked up. That show had a great theme song, though. Here's one nobody has mentioned: The Power Team, which aired during the video game hints show Video Power and featured the wacky adventures of many Midway and Acclaim-licensed game characters.

Noozles.

Batista wasn't very popular here until Wrestlemania when they showed him backstage wearing a suit. Then the whole board fell in love with him.
-
The 8/28/00 and 9/4/00 Raws both aired at 11PM, though.

Flair wrestled Snuka when he was NWA US champ.

What's a denzien?

Is Mike Mondo the guy who played the role of Snitsky's brother in the indies?

If it were to be called anything by your description, it'd be a Communist school, which would be on the completely opposite end of Nazism. Really? I know the Nazis considered themselves socialists, which I thought was pretty close to communism.

"A towheaded child actor bathed in the golden light of an off-camera halo re-enacts the young George comforting his mom after the death of his sister; it's a parable anticipating the future president's miraculous ability to comfort us all after 9/11." "As for the actual president, he is shown with a flag for a backdrop in a split-screen tableau with Jesus. The message isn't subtle: they were separated at birth." I must see this movie.

It was probably late '99, as Russo had written the angle for Hart to be opposed to the Outsiders when in fact it was all a scheme for the nWo 2000 to get all of the gold by Starrcade. As for the censors...Vince himself has uttered the word "asshole" on TV. What kind of curse words was Nash using? Certain words merit a fine by the FCC. To stay edgy, Vince would simply pay the fines. The way things are going with the FCC now, that all may have changed, but I'm not sure about it in terms of cable TV. Nash said "shit" three times on Nitro that night and it wasn't censored. If I remember correctly, the reason it wasn't bleeped was simply because none of TNT's censors were paying attention to the show at the time.

My favorite was a couple of weeks after the HHH-necrophilia angle, HHH and Jericho were wrestling Booker and Kane. During a slow spot in the match, a group of fans suddenly started chanting: "Katie Vick! Katie Vick!" It had to be the oddest chant I've ever heard in wrestling.

Do people write "S**** K****" because his name isn't supposed to be spoken or because the board has a script that adds "useless moron" before his name every time someone writes it?
-
YES!!!! I bet this is how people felt when Mandela was freed.
-
Rapping Ronald Reagan was awesome.
-
Iron Banders was awesome. He needs to come back.
-
Useless moron? Nice. This board is crazy.
-
Since we're discussing other subjects relating to Raw in this thread, I was just wondering: useless moron Scott Keith seems to be under the impression that Simon Dean is done and the Kane match was WWE's way of burying the character and getting ready to send him back to OVW. Is there ANY reason to actually believe this or is it another example of ol' RSPWFAQ being a dumbass?

I like your name.

Duff was still a member of Guns N Roses until 1997 or 1998 when Tommy Stinson took over bass. I know, and Slash left in '96. Still, the lawsuit says '95.
-
No, actually, Slash and Duff are mad because they are currently suing Axl, claiming that he has no right to control the contents of the group's catalog. They claim that the three of them signed a deal in 1992 which gave them control over the licensing of their songs and included the provision that if Axl left the partnership, he retained the rights to the name Guns N' Roses. Slash and Duff claim that Axl left the partnership in 1995 and thus he relinquished the licensing rights. However, Axl has continued to veto the inclusion of old GNR tracks in movies (most notably Big Daddy, where the producers wanted "Sweet Child o' Mine" but Axl said he would only allow them to include a version that he recorded with his new band, so the new version of the song was set to be included until Slash vetoed it, and eventually they worked out a compromise where the credits feature a live version of the song with the old band which "morphs" into the new band's version; and also Black Hawk Down, where the producers wanted "Welcome to the Jungle", Axl would only give them a rerecorded version, and Slash vetoed it so it didn't make it in) and Slash and Duff would like the courts to rule that they have the sole discretion the license the songs. However, I have no idea what effect Axl's new publishing deal has on this situation. Either way, no deal could stop Velvet Revolver from playing GNR songs, or anyone else's songs for that matter.

Man Vince reminds me more and more of Wesley Eure every day. WWE films so needs a Finders Keepers division.

I like King Missile's "Detachable Penis". Or Chamillionaire's "Instant Replay", a horribly bad freestyle which sample's John Tesh's "Roundball" (the NBA on NBC theme).
