What the hell was the deal with the main event of Hardcore Heaven 2000? It was supposed to be Justin vs. Dreamer vs. Storm, but Credible told Dreamer that unless it was a singles match between him and Storm, he would vacate the title. Dreamer, then not wanting to soil the unbroken lineage of the ECW title, selflessly backed out of the match. Why didn't they just have the three-way? I know they wanted to build to a Credible-Dreamer match for the title, but it's not like it would have hurt Dreamer that much if he had jobbed.

No, Greg the Bunny was on Fox.

That's nothing my HIGH SCHOOL has those books. Along with: Have A Nice Day Sex, Lies, & Headlocks WCW "Bios" on Sting, Goldberg, Nash, Hogan, and DDP My college library has Flair and Austin's autobiographies, along with Foley is Good and the Hardys' book.

About Hogan and buyrates, I always found it interesting when looking at the buyrates in 2000: Souled Out - .25 SuperBrawl - .15 Uncensored - .13 Spring Stampede - .25 Slamboree - .14 Great American Bash - .19 The two PPVs where Hogan didn't wrestle have higher buyrates than all the others. Sure, they're all incredibly low, but it proves that Hogan was no draw during his last run in WCW.

Ummm...making sure it doesn't kill any more people?

Hmmm....bitch or praise. That's a real hard choice.

These guys are awful actors.

They can't show a middle finger? Lame. I saw a middle finger on the "family-friendly" TNA the other day.

This is the oddest Raw segment in a long time.

I think the idea behind it was to make it seem like they were talking to a reporter or something. Most sports interviews aren't done with the guy looking directly into the camera, so I think they were going for that look. Actually, I believe it was because they had no one to do interviews. They were desperately trying to cut costs and they had released both Gene Okerlund and Pamela Paulshock. I guess they figured it wasn't necessary to have a backstage interviewer and just went with the "have them cut promos while looking off to the side" approach.

"No way, I heard that movie sucked. Why don't we -" "HOLY FUCKING SHIT MEATBALLS 4! With Corey Feldman!"

Marty Garner was on Montel one time, and they showed that clip.

Why are they talking about a "return" to classic Survivor Series matches? They had them last year.

Goldwave. It's shareware, but it lets you edit MP3's.

It was just on where I go to college, and to fit it in a 45-minute time slot, they cut out DDP's debut! They just cut the segment and went from "Who's in the limo?" to "Oh my God did you just see that? DDP!!" Even though we didn't get to see DDP (except for his backstage interview with Douglas). The promo from the "Kings of Wrestling" was brutal. Hall is weird-looking, and Nash looks old with his short greying hair. And that "Still D.R.E." ripoff they come out to is just awful.

I once got an in-school suspension for asking a gym teacher what the fuck he was talking about. I'm sure if I was an athlete, he would have just let it go.

One of my favorite WCW stories is from 2000. When Hugh Morrus, Chavo Guerrero, Lash LeRoux, and Van Hammer formed the Misfits in Action, they were to be known as Captain (later General) Rection, Lieutenant Loco, Corporal Cajun, and Private Stash (a weed joke, in classic Russo fashion). However, Hammer felt that he was too good for the low rank of "Private" and made them change it to Major Stash. Speaking of Hammer, where was he from leaving WCW in '93 to returning in '97-'98? Did his first run end right after he lost to Sid? And how did he come back to join the Flock?

I like Clark because he's a big Journey fan.

I remember reading back in '99 that the Flair/Goldberg vs. Hogan/Nash match on Nitro beat the Austin/Mankind vs. Rock/Big Show match when they went head-to-head two weeks before WM15. I'm not sure if that was correct, though.

Plus, Russo seemed to want to push her as WCW's version of Chyna.

I heard that the reason why they didn't get along was Oz hired Brando to play a gay character, so Brando showed up at the set wearing makeup and using a heavy lisp. Oz asked him to tone it down a bit and that's what led to Brando hating Oz.

I'm guessing the irony lies in the "fact" that Democrats are Communists.

I wonder how many of these dudes will be wrestling/taking part in angles and how many will just be signing autographs.
