Well, if Axl is a co-writer of the songs and he doesn't want them in a movie, he should have the right to say "no" whether another co-writer says "yes" or not. Besides which, Slash co-wrote "Welcome to the Jungle", so he'd get paid no matter which version they used.

Media post: The Final Saturday Night's Main Event
BUTT replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in General Wrestling
Thanks a lot. As I remember, it was at the end of this broadcast that Heenan (after getting off the phone with one of his "sources") announced that Savage and the Warrior wouldn't be teaming up at Survivor Series. -
The first song, which I believe is spelled "Danke Schoen" (it's pretty close to that anyway) is the signature song of Wayne Newton. "Twist and Shout" was made famous by the Beatles, although I'm not sure if they wrote it or not.

Guess who may find a home on the boob tube?

I think it would be awesome if he had the Ultimate Warrior as a guest and they spent an hour screaming at each other which Warrior yelling about destrucity and how liberals are scum and Dean can just go "YAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!" And I think I have an even better idea for a musical guest: Usher. Howard can fill in the Lil' Jon part: "YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!" -
I would like to see a ring in the shape of an actual "X".

Judging by his box office numbers, most movie-watchers DON'T disagree with me at all. -=Mike Bowling for Columbine is the highest-grossing documentary of all time.

Well, if you want info on WCW from late '96 on, DDTDigest.com is pretty comprehensive.

You know, in Roger and Me, he seemed like a fairly normal and stable man. But now all the attention he got has gone to his head and now he seems to think he's some sort of freedom fighter, this anti-government warrior. The man has gone crazy.

It's definitely going to be on PS2 and Xbox. The GameSpot preview today said it would also be on GameCube, but I read a couple of months ago that Midway is pulling GameCube support, so I'm not sure. I e-mailed Midway to find out, and hopefully I'll get an answer in the next few days.

The release date is apparently set for October 4th. Although it gets a real bad rap on the internet, I have to admit I'm incredibly excited about the inclusion of Primal Rage.
-
Sorry to bump an old thread, but GameSpot posted a list of the games on the compilation, and it's suitably awesome: • A.P.B. • Arch Rivals • Championship Sprint • Cyberball 2072 • Gauntlet 2 • Hard Drivin’ • Mortal Kombat • Mortal Kombat II • Mortal Kombat III • NARC • Pit Fighter • Primal Rage • Rampage World Tour • Spy Hunter 2 • Steel Talons • STUN Runner • Timber • Total Carnage • Wizard of Wor • Xenophobe • Xybots STUN Runner! I love that game.

While the Patriot Act isn't AS bad as everyone makes it out to be, it still isn't very popular and making such a big deal out of Kerry trying to weaken it probably isn't a good idea for Bush. Oh, and just so everyone knows, the girl in the "I'd Do Anything For Love" video didn't actually sing on the song.
-
These songs do not belong on that list. I have no problem with these songs being on the list.
-
Oh yes it does. That's how much I hate it, and you'll never convince me otherwise, even though you're not gonna try, unless you try just because I said you wouldn't, but I still won't like it anyway. That's how much I hate Celine Dion's music. Not even taking into account what an awkward creepy insect woman she is. "Greatest Love of All" isn't by Celine Dion. It's by Whitney Houston. For some reason, that song is just hilarious to me. I think it's because of the time Chevy Chase sang in one of his monologues on SNL, and now I laugh every time i think about it.

I wouldn't exactly say Columbine was a "new" thing. There had been a few other school shootings over the couple of years before that, such as the one in Arkansas.
-
I think the ECW song you're referring to is "Connection" by Elastica.

GameCube Loses Firm Support From 2 Major Developer

Well, for those wondering, apparently Nintendo owns the trademark for Eternal Darkness, so they could make another one if they wanted. Of course, they probably wouldn't want to, considering how it didn't sell that well. -
You know, I've never even smoked weed (or done any other drug), but I really think I could get behind a presidential candidate who wasn't afraid to light up a big fat blunt in public.
-
Well, that's good to hear. They probably would have sold more tickets if they have brought Roth back, but I like them more with Sammy and they don't want to deal with Roth's ego anymore. That said, I probably won't be going to see them because I don't feel like dropping $50 or more on a concert. Speaking of VH, isn't Eddie looking a bit like Ozzy lately?

I'd have to say "For Crying Out Loud". It's always overlooked compared to the other songs on the album, but it's such a great song.

GameCube Loses Firm Support From 2 Major Developer
BUTT replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Video Games
Well, first off, Factor 5 isn't just leaving Gamecube. It's not making games for any other current-generation consoles, either. It's said that their working on game development for the next generation of consoles. As for SK, this is really surprising. Dennis Dyack (head of SK) has said is the past that he really enjoys working with Nintendo and couldn't imagine leaving. Some on the net have speculated that this is just a "sanity trick" leading up to the E3 announcement of Eternal Darkness 2 (especially since the announcement was made exactly a month before the beginning of E3), but I think that's just Nintendo fan wishful thinking. -
Well, this gimmick just confirms what we all knew....Fertig = God.

Here's my question: How do THEY know it's that much stronger? Hmmm............
