Did you mean Kerry/Cheney? Oh, and fuck Republicans.

I wouldn't be surprised to see his WCW title win. They showed on Excess back in 2001.

Buyrates & Main Events For All Past WrestleManias
BUTT replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Didn't they promote Austin/Hall, Rock/Hogan and HHH/Jericho as a triple main event? However, I do remember that they had Drowning Pool "tell the story of the main event", performing "Tear Away" while highlights of the HHH/Jericho feud played on the video screen. Still, they did promote Rock/Hogan like it was the biggest match on the card. -
Yeah, remember when Bush said "fuck" in that interview back in '99? I don't see why that Salvato guy thinks it's such a big deal. At least he didn't sport a boner in the magazine (a la Al Gore).
-
Well, that's what I meant. Swearing = "extreme". Just ask WWE.

That "Fernwood" place I'm guessing is in Bushkill, PA. I pass it every time I go from college to my house and vice versa. I know there were some Raws there back in the WWF's "dark ages". As for the Korea show, from what I remember, the crowd was around 190,000 one of the days and 150,000 the other.

He's not a kid. He's like 27 or something.

Yeah, Black seems to have based his whole career on doing a more "extreme" version of George Carlin's act.
-
Wow, Austin's almost crying.
-
Well, hey, the Fonz was a Republican. So I guess that's one cool point for conservatives.
-
How come that guy isn't on Jimmy Kimmel Live anymore?

It was OK for Bush to call that reporter a "major league asshole" because he's a member of the LIBERAL MEDIA!! I personally don't see what the big deal is about Kerry's comment. I mean, it's not that far off from what he's been saying publicly. If the "major league asshole" comment didn't hurt Bush, this isn't going to hurt Kerry.

I'm surprised they gave up on the WrestleMnia series. You'd figure WMXX would have a video game tie-in.

The ONE and ONLY WM's 10 Greatest Matches Thread
BUTT replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
Sometimes WWE amazes me with their revisionist history. It's been two years and they still are trying to make people believe that it was a "mixed reaction"? I don't remember the crowd chanting "Rocky" at all unless it was followed by "sucks". Oh, and nice sentimental music for the Rock-Hogan handshake. -
You see, I bet this all started when those kids saw Terry Funk use his branding iron on Kevin Nash on Nitro. Then, all the kids wanted to be like the cool, hip Big Sexy so they started branding themselves. Children, just because you can't have beautiful, vitamin-enriched hair like Kevin Nash doesn't mean you have to try and compensate for it in other areas!

So Dr. Dre doesn't make any money from Shady Records?

What the hell?

This seems like a strange choice on Microsoft's part, seeing as how hard drive space keeps getting cheaper and the Flash memory they are planning on using is said to be much more expensive in large quantities than hard drive space. One thing I was recently wondering is, assuming that the next Xbox is backward compatible, how is Microsoft planning to handle the issue of transferring content from the Xbox to the next Xbox (i.e. music, saves, downloadable content) and it seems to me that the hard drive is really not doing very much good for them. I have a feeling that this next Xbox is going to flop.

I believe "Willie the Worker" was just a hoax.

That's a different Dixie Carter.

I don't think he's actually saying Bush himself had anything to do with it. Many top Clear Channel executives have donated large sums of money to the Bush campaign, and Clear Channel sponsored many "patriotic" pro-war rallies last year, so Stern seems to be suggesting that Clear Channel took exception to his criticism of Bush and pulled him from their stations.

Well, EA makes games for just about everyone. It isn't too surprising that they'd be on board for the PSP, especially considering how good Sony has been for them over the last few years.
-
Actually, it's the "Safer, Stronger" which I'm guessing is what is attracting the controversy.

Are estimates really usually below the final buyrate? I believe the initial estimate for WM X8 was around 1.1 million buys, but it ended up doing far below it. (I may be confusing that with something else, though.)
