There was a thread here called "Czech already did it", but now it's gone. This upsets me because I was going to make a post saying "Czech didn't already do this:" and then there was going to be a Blingee picture I made of Michael Bolton. I want to know who deleted it.

You're two years older than I am and started 4th grade two years later? Did you sit out an olympiad due to tuberculosis or something? If this is correct, it would mean he entered 4th grade (or as they say in Canada "Grade 4") at 13. CG got left back 4 times before hitting his teens?

I think this is pretty much it. Ole was a booker at the time but they wanted to have all the original Horsemen appear at Slamboree so he made an appearance there. Of course they couldn't meet Tully's demands making the whole thing for naught. I don't know if Tully wanted a regular spot on the roster at that point (I know he did when he appeared at Slamboree the next year which is why he refused to job to Funk when they didn't give him a contract), but it would have been fun to see a Blonds-Tully/Arn feud. But the point is, after Slamboree, there wasn't much reason for Ole to have an on-camera role. I suppose he could have appeared on TV in a managerial role but that kind of deal only works with heels. I know I would never cheer for Ole Anderson. That dude's mean.

Hey, sometimes you just remember things. I watched Starrcade '95 when I was 10 and I can very clearly remember it was on a Wednesday. It was also during Christmas break so I was able to stay up until 11 watching it. Good times.

Is "Let's Get High" the one where it's like "Hello, my name is Dre. Can I blaze some chronic with you?" "NIGGA WHAT?? FO SHO!"? God I hate hip-hop skits. Especially on 2001 where there's about .0001 seconds between the intro and the first song so it's like "whatupdoctordreTHINGS JUST AIN'T THE SAME FOR GANGSTAS". Leave at least a second or two there for a smooth transition!

RAVISHING! RAVISHING! OH OH OH OH ALL RIGHT WE'LL BE RAVISHING EACH OTHER 'TIL THE END OF THIS ENDLESS NIGHT The idea of that song becoming a wrestling Saturday morning cartoon theme is still so strange to me.

Hey Kinetic, I loved, LOVED, LOVED that video, man! It really tickled my funnybone! Just one problem, though. Where was my "Bob Barron Marvin" picture? It totally would have worked perfectly! But whatever, dude. It still rocked. HARD!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: AWESOME DUDE! TOTALLY DUDICAL! Kreese

I really like "Measure of a Man" from the Rocky V soundtrack. Really works well over that montage in the credits. I also kind of like the stuff from the Lion King. Those are some nice pop hits. Actually I don't think Taupin had anything to do with either of those. I also like "Funeral for a Friend". But not "Love Lies Bleeding." Just the first minute or so.

Something tells me that when Ralph loses this election to Obama he won't complain that he "felt like a nigger" like he did last time.
-
What exactly is your job, EHME? Please don't say "sonnin' fags."
-
Well I think this just jumped onto Barron's must-see list!
-
I'm sure its not THE Axl.

I'll make the "don't tase me bro" reference before anyone else with ulterior motives does.

That logic isn't as fallacious as you might think.

That dude totally ripped off Prussian Blue's t-shirts! FOR SHAME!

Media Takeout has been wrong before, like when they revealed the shocking news that Beyonce was really 32.

There are very weak rumors that UFC might be for sale. And in the very small chance of UFC being sold, there has been very small talk that WWE could be interested in buying it. WWE has recently started doing more research on the MMA industry though. Shane has been big on WWE getting into MMA for a long time, but Stephanie and HHH are dead-set against it because they don't know or care about it at all. And Vince barely does either. Dave Lagana was apparently released for something other than leaking info. Meltzer says that "most weren't willing to talk" about what Lagana was doing but apparently it was kind of serious since many wrestlers complained about it and one even complained to the Undertaker. Of course since "most" won't talk about it that means at least some will which means in all likelihood Meltzer knows what it was so WHY WON'T HE TELL US? Dudes pay a hundred ollars a year for this shit but "The New York Times of wrestling" just sits on hot newz like that. LAME Also Stephanie is really paranoid about people leaking info to what Damian Demento would call "the kayfabe sheets" so after the holidays she had everyone's cell phone records checked to see if anyone had called Meltzer. The ECW creative team is now led by Michael Hayes with help from Dusty and Ed Koskey. Dusty didn't want to be the head writer since he's old and didn't want that much work and/or pressure. Non-Observer note: You know what's a good song? "Loving You's a Dirty Job (But Somebody's Got To Do It)" by Bonnie Tyler and Todd Rundgren. The U.K.'s The Sun says that it will be Michaels vs Flair at Mania, which is the favorite right now. Vince is still unsure about it since it doesn't elevate anyone. Jericho got offered another book deal. He hasn't signed it yet. Hall of Fame news: Mae Young is probable. Gordon Solie is possible. If the Rock can be there WWE thinks he'll come to induct his daddy and grandpappy. Mania has sold around 57000 tickets so far. So if you want to go, you still can! As I always say: Don't just say thanks, comment on the news. If you want to subscribe, which you should, go to wrestlingobserver.com I like fish sticks

His number is in every issue of the Observer.

It's gotta be a joke...who'd be stupid enough to use their work phone for something like that? That wasn't a joke, she's really that serious about people leaking information. (I wonder who leaked that particular piece of info to Dave)

I should've known people would complain. OBSERVER NOTES ARE SERIOUS FUCKING BUSINESS

APF was a freakin' dumb idea to begin with. Well, not the game itself, but the idea that it could make money. It must have cost an absurd amount of money to license all of those players individually, and they were up against the juggernaut of sports games in Madden. The only time they were ever successful against Madden was when they sold NFL 2K5 for $19.99, and All Pro was 60 bucks just like every game, which it had to be because the cost of licensing must have been so high, but.....bad idea.

I LOVE shitty hair metal but I've never liked Kiss. I don't know if there's one song I'd say I like by them. In fact, my favorite is probably that ballad they wrote with Bolton and I wouldn't even say I like it. It's just OK, but that's better than most of their output. Their music isn't melodic enough, it's all riffs.
