The Wii will likely have a 1 year warranty like Nintendo's other systems. The 360 unfortunately is 90 standard with an extended service plan for more $.

Yup, and yet there's kryptonite...and about a hundred other plot holes. If you've never seen TF: The Movie(1986) then find it and watch it...it is still a completely badass film. Yeah, it's fun the animation is much better than the show (that is, decent). Shame that Rodimus went from that bright spot to an emo.

Swap Magic alone won't work. If you have the original PS2 you'll need a casing mod (such as the flip top) or a slide tool. They haven't announced that. Based on past promises, I expect all first party NES, SNES, N64 stuff to be available, but based on the NES Classics series 3rd party titles can and will be available. Which Genesis and TG16 games will be out is a mystery (Bonk is a given, although aside from that what people want is Dracula X Rondo of Blood, which I have doubts will happen). They've been tight lipped on prices. The Wii itself is going to be "under $250." Tradition says $200 USD. Nintendo can well afford to charge more in Japan, though, because 360 is a nonfactor and DS Lite already has a higher price than US. I expect $200 USD and a bit more for Japan.

This is really a "gotta have seen it in the 80's" phenomenon. Some friends showed me tapes of the old show and I couldn't stand it. The animation is like having your eyes stomped on, it's so choppy. But the ep where Cobra Commander guest starred was fine. I actually liked Inhumanoids much more than either GIJ or TF.

I'm basing my opinion of Ramna off of the 2nd movie, which is all I've ever seen of it. Although from what I understand Rumiko herself thinks it sucks. The death of VHS has lead to a lot of anime getting to be easy to obtain, lots of stuff I haven't heard of. Of course, a lot of is pretty bad. Take a look at a lot of Central Park Media/US Manga Corps catalog, for instance. Saria's Song?

I picked up the Legend Films colorization of Plan 9 with the Mike commentary. It's pretty weak. The colorization seems to hide the fact that a lot of the film's sequences looked like night when most of the film now looks like day. The film is somewhat less funny overall now, because the stupid dialogue and narration has hardly any time to sink in before Mike starts babbling again. Mike hits some pretty good Tor jokes, but plenty of not-so-funny Bela jokes, mainly about his heroin addiction. I'm not really one who gripes about drug use jokes. Although, the fact that this film was made when Bela was dead and buried mainly for that reason makes it a lot less funny than it would be if he was a living celeb. It's a tremendous letdown after the excellent tracks on Reefer Madness, NotLD and House on Haunted Hill (I haven't seen the one for Carnival of Souls), but it's expected.

No problemo. Remember, though, if you're in a spot where you just have to put a game away and can't save on the spot--just close the DS. It goes into sleep mode, and when you reopen it, you're right where you left off.

The Legend release of Plan 9 features Mike Nelson commentary, so a MSTing of Plan 9 is fish-in-a-barrel and redundant. When did the show go off the air? 2000?
