Suncoast/Sam Goody going out of business!
AndrewTS replied to Anakin Flair's topic in Television & Film
At least I resisted the annoying pitch to get their discount card. Too bad--I was able to get some good cheap stuff at Sam Goody's before. -
Count Dorkula.

Or he could google, like I just did. Thanks, Carnival. I was using FF anyway, but now everthing's zipping along.

Darn it. That collection is basically just an upgraded version of "Across the Universe." That one had: For the Man who Has Everything Night Olympics 1 and 2 Mogo Doesn't Socialize Father's Day Part 1 and 2. Brief Lives A Man's World The Jungle Line Tygers Footsteps In Blackest Night Mortal Clay So, the new collection has Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow and the Killing Joke, for no extra cost. Damn.

I didn't even know he was under contract. They should just have Randy use his gimmick. It'd be about a 10fold improvement over Blandy Orton, Master of 1001 Rest Holds.

I doubt any version will have Pratt nude. There's a sequence where several of the ladies have recently showered and they use the opportunity to exposition out the ass, but the way it is shot it doesn't appear any toplessness has been cut out. And yes, Sid dies less than 10 minutes in, but he makes an appearance shortly afterwards as a zombie, but then after that appearance he never appears again. It was kind of neat to toss that in there, since at least it lets you know what happened with that little situation. However, it doesn't have any effect whatsover on *this* movie, when you would think it should. I honestly have no idea who that actress' name is. Considering that the only notable thing she really did was not die until the end, and run in slow motion so Boll could focus on her bouncing breasts, she's not a huge loss, though. Direct to Sci Fi Channel movie. You're giving it more dignity than it deserves. lovecraft321 and Placebo pretty much share my attitude on this. However, Apocalypse was pretty painful; I have to believe they went out of their way to make that one stupid, though. Remember that the same guy who wrote this movie's screenplay is producing the DOA movie. Then again, he's not writing or directing. DOA's screenplay is being written by guys who previously wrote for Bill Nye, the Science Guy. So, sadly, it probably still has a hell of a lot more potential to be good than this did.

J82: Hey, it happens. I purchased a dirt-cheap Action Replay (not Max), only to find out that Sony's design of the slim jim PS2 effectively makes the original Action Replay worthless. It doesn't even recognise the disc, although the PS1 code disc still works.

Okay, yeah--but in Attitude you had about 40 I believe, while Hardcore Revolution had about 50 I think. Warzone I tend to forget much information about. And i never said it let you do custom movesets--that wasn't introduced until Attitude. Warzone had presets movesets, which were the regular in-game movesets plus 2-3 ones based on non-WWF wrestlers. The sequel to Hardcore Revolution, Anarchy Rulz, had a completely idiotic game engine makeover. To use higher damage moves, you had to first perform lower damage moves and you would be able to temporarily follow up with bigger moves. Sounds fine in theory, but that means usually you'd have your punch/kick/grapple, about 2 or 3 ready moves, and 3 of the most boring grapple moves ever. Plus the fact that somebody designed an ECW game that would play that way, rather than giving you free reign to most/all the big moves at all times is pretty crazy/funny/ironic/stupid. I spent a ridiculous amount of time with WCW vs. the World. I thought the graphics were total crap (even for PS1 at the time), but damn if it didn't play well. I had the internet about that time but didn't do much research on games there. I was wondering if there was any logical reason "The Giant" had a huge afro, and I could swear he must have been Andre or something. Sure enough, that's what happened. It's funny that they swapped out Vader and Dynamite Kid's movesets.

Warzone and Attitude were okay for their time period. They had fighting-game style motions and a passable grappling system. They introduced one of the first noteworth wrestling creation modes Stateside. The rosters were rather large, too. Nitro and Thunder were both horrible, though.

VP Cheney cant tell the difference between bird and human...

Maybe it wasn't an accident...? http://www.bushisamoron.org/du/dick_cheney_penguin.jpg OH NOES, his cover is blown! -
(the following lines should be recited while sounding as bored as possible) "Could be they're mutating." "That's not good is it?" "No."

FFX-2 and your occasional tendency to defend War Gods comes to mind. First time, here. I picked out Simon immediately despite the makeup. Of course, the makeup and lighting could really throw you off. Plus, Edgar didn't have any major acting roles (he did a few cameos on screen) in Shaun, so if he was by himself I wouldn't have picked him out either.

As far as I know only Gameshark 3 and above or Code Breaker 2 will work. I got these from somebody who has Gameshark v3 so I know they work on that, but Code Breaker I'm not certain. I see on the website that they're up to version 9 so I have my doubts. Inuyasha has a Code Breaker so he may want to elaborate/correct. The SotD Tekken reference is nothing compared to Spaced. They actually have them matted into the game footage (not seen the show but saw screencaps). I was previously lukewarm at best, but I never thought it was absolutely terrible like you always said. However, it didn't meet up with my expectations, but now that I don't have those to get in the way, it's a decent zombie movie, with several cool moments and a good cast. " It was fun to watch once because...it's a zombie movie." Bingo. I tried it for a second time on the DVD and I can like it a lot more. I see some cool things I missed the first time. It's never going to be a classic but it's not terrible. You're such a hypocrite, though. How many times have you gushed over a game that was total crap, but had 2-3 cool things that you'd dwell on? Of course, at times it is difficult to tell when you're being sarcastic.

Damn. Well, there's always the DVDs and new projects. Last night's episode was a blast. They even made Trickster look like Mark.

On a scale of "A Shot in the Dark" to "Son of the Pink Panther/Trail of the Pink Panther", where does it fall?

I'm not the most timely source for info on new RPGs. The consensus I've heard so far on it is that it is good, but it's no Symphonia. Your mileage may vary. However, I just bought Disgaea from my local EB (likely one of the re-printings).

Tron Bonne was awesome. However, the PSP is getting the MML games, while Tron Bonne so far has not been announced.

WMXIX's pitiful Revenge mode kills the game. The gameplay engine is okay, though. However, unless you have plenty of friends over a lot, there's little to enjoy in it. The story modes of the SD games or even the above-mentioned titles give them a huge advantage. Plus, DoR2's story mode I heard is terrible. You can only use a CAW and it's the same story each time--no branching paths or alternate routes. No Mercy > every domestic wrestling title on GC, X-Box, PS2 in my book, still.
-
Def Jam Vendetta (it's Aki, it's actually a wrestling game unlike the sequel, and you can still enjoy it even if you hate rap) Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs. New Generation (another Aki game. the engine is very over the top, although the actual number of moves is limited. It's fast and silly and absurdly fun in multiplayer) Some may disagree with me, but the WWE games for GC range from mediocre to crap and I've played them all but DoR2. There could be some imports I'm not familiar with, though.

Flash and Substance First aired: 2/11/2006 Guest star: Walter Lang (Captain Cold), Ron Perlman (Orion) , Donal Gibson (Captain Boomerang), Mark Hamill (The Trickster), Kim Mai Guest (Linda Park), Alexis Denisof (Mirror Master) The Flash must handle an onslaught of super-villains during the opening of a museum in his honor. ----------- Hamill and Ron Perlman--cool. And Mark reprising his role from the Flash TV series in the early 90's, to boot.

So "Shelton's momma" doesn't actually have a real name at this point. I wonder if she's any relation to Mrs. Signed Epstein's Mother.

Tron is supposed to be in as a world. I think Chicken Little doesn't get a full world, but is in as a summon only. Oookay.
