I don't have one, but I'd say either a gas station men's room or... this should do: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/259205.asp

The Legend of Zelda cartoons on the Mario Bros Super Show may have been lame (nostalgia can't do too much for them), but Ridley Scott's "Legend" is pretty much what a Legend of Zelda movie could hypothetically be (starring Tom Cruise and Tim Curry!). It's been long rumored to have been the inspiration for the series. True or not, plenty of elements from it popped up in Ocarina of Time and seem more than coincidental. There's a two-disc set featuring the theatrical and director's cuts.

Goldberg had more good matches than Warrior, IMO, so the potential would be there for an enjoyable DVD. Plus, there were matches that weren't so hot that still were important and would be nice to see pop up again. Stuff that might make good additions-- Raven/Goldberg - US title win DDP/Goldberg - Havoc 98 Hogan/Goldberg - the title win on free TV--gives a chance to bury WCW some more. Nash/Goldberg - first "official" loss; they'd crap on GB and put over Nash of course. Rock/Goldberg - being his big wwe debut match, entertaining promos/segments.

Except for the decent main and cool promo for it, that as a complete and utter waste. Not really much such, just such vacant, pointless time-wasting crap that I'd rather it had been actively awful. Vince announces the Night of Old Guys Cutting Promos to kick off the USA return, capped off with a Bischoff/Cena match. Ugh. Some singles thing with Hurricanes/hicks that nobody cares about. Torrie continues to make me appreciate how superior Stacy was as a heel. Thankfully she didn't cut a promo this week. Ric and Carlito have a match which manages to fall short of already low expectations, and King babbles on about those little blue dick pills, because jokes about them never get old, do they? Maria has a segment without any funny lines. Waste. Tomko wrestled somebody. I wasn't bored enough to even attempt watching that. That's one of those JR stats, right? I could swear Moolah held the Women's Title in 99 briefly, not that I'm surprised they might forget. WWE's officially retconned the Patterson/Brisco Hardcore title reigns, I think.

What do you do when you get mad at a video game?
AndrewTS replied to Epic Reine's topic in Video Games
Now: crack my neck, pop in an easier game and come back to the other game later. Then: spiked a few controllers and cursed a few times. -
Sony isn't against porting old games, they're just usually against old games (or games that look old) being sold full price standing alone. Full price or less for a compilation they usually have no problem with. See, for example, Final Fantasy Chronicles/Anthology.

The Namco Museum 50th Anniversary Collection came out brand new as a Greatest Hit on PS2, even though it is a significantly different game from all of the previous Namco Museums. It seems like there are loose restrictions on defining a GH these days (see also VF4 Evolution).

I agree that is a bit disconcerting. I'm probably in the minority here, but personally, I'm hoping we see less of Green Arrow this season. I know he's got lots of fanboys, but there was a little too much of him last time around. I'd dig seeing more of the JSA though. Isn't there supposed to be a Captain Marvel episode coming up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She's an okay character, but she's all of a sudden *the* female lead, with a token other female character appearing now and then with only bit parts. Although I have few complaints about the ending multiparter last season, with some increased time for Huntress. However, when she looked utterly perplexed that there were whole webrings devoted to hating her, she seemed like quite the idiot. Gee...no reason that almost EVERYONE ON THE PLANET might hold a bit of a grudge against her, right?

Hopefully it means we'll get some good gun games for it. Duck Hunt Revolution doesn't sound that thrilling to me.

Thanks a lot, Konami. They should make like Atlus and do some reprints.

I'll take the Jimmy Hartish instrumental ripoff over any Kid Rock song, or, even worse, Stacy's WWE originals song. However, it's annoying how the lazy, thrown-together non-licensed themes never match up with the entrances. From Ric's 92 theme, to Edge's "You Think You Know Me" and so on, there's no synching up whatsoever with the videos or entrance.

So, completing Smoke's missions let you play MKII...but in it you can't even fight Smoke in his first appearance. I liked the first TMNT game for the new series, but Battle Nexus was pretty bleh, IMO. Although I'm not surprised that so many review mags/sites don't "get" the revival attempts. Beat 'Em Ups have largely been so played out that it is hard to get excited about any new ones. Dynamite Cop I really enjoy, and I played a bit of Spike Out, which is pretty cool--but I'm not going to really be able to enjoy it until I can get some friends together (I own the game, but no X-Box). My resignation about playing Urban Reign is rooted in the low-quality Tekken side games. Zitaragi and the gaming press had quite the good time knocking on Death by Degrees, so I haven't tried it. While they're hardly the most trustworthy sources, I had given them the benefit of the doubt on that. Is it really bad?

Can you fight Smoke in that MKII? Nice job omitting one of the secrets in the MAT2 version, Midway.

Spyro and Crash became lame because Insomniac and Naughty Dog farmed them out to Vivendi Universal. That's not necessarily a reason, just a side effect. When the creators have decided that there's nowhere else to go with a series, despite the fact that they could cash in every year, then you know it's played out.

It seems like it's getting to be more and more the Shayera Show. You barely even see WW anymore.
-
The weird thing is, there are reviews which vary wildly, so I'm going to try to rent it first.

Yeah, sounds plausible. Boon will probably fire up an arcade machine for one of the original 3, geek out over a set of characters, and be dead set that they'll be included in the next game. "Hey Vogel, Sheeva's going to be in the Deception sequel. Whip me up a retcon. Oh, and I think that Annihilation thing when Kahn and Raiden are brothers sounds cool, we're gonna use it for this one." Naw, like they're going to acknowledge/explain what the heck happened with Shinnok in the games.

Well, that's kind of the obvious extention of these controllers. The games themselves are going to be radically different. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nintendo does innovate their games, however. Although many case they try to minimize risk by associating it with an established brand. See: Donkey Konga, all those non-platformer Mario games, etc. Squeenix does the same thing--take a look at all of the games that they've attached the FF name or, more blatantly, the FFVII characters too. There are plenty of occasions when they try to start a completely new franchise/brand, as well. Animal Crossing, Nintendogs, Pikmin. However, the number of quality original projects in the GC generation is somewhat dwarfed by what they did on N64. Hell, plenty of the best GC games (including Animal Crossing) are cancelled N64 games or sequels to N64 games. Ideally, they'll keep the old brands strong with new high-quality entries, will use brands to boost interest in other projects, and on the side can try to creately new, if totally "out there" new games. They'll been doing it ever since they started to pump out "Super" versions of older games on the SNES. So, it's a given we'll get Smash Bros. Revolution, Mario 128, Mario Kart Revolution (perhaps a port of the new arcade game?), a possible Luigi's Mansion 2, Metroid Prime 3, a new Zelda, Mario Party 7, more Wario Ware, some Nintendogs spinoffs, Pilotwings, etc. If 3rd party support is along for the ride, nobody will mind or complain about it, either.

Well, Grodd appeared in JL already. But yeah, he got that drooling problem licked, finally.

So...um...how'd his wings just appear out of nowhere?

I want some giant mummy guards here.

Congratulations, Fire, You Got Magnet Shot! The HALL OF DOOM!!! ...Spear of Longinus? Hitler? Okay...that's some stuff I didn't expect to hear.

Hopefully the music and songs are on par with Nightmare.
