Maybe it was a bad PAL conversion. The NTSC RE2 was fine.

I think Tino has a good point. Few people bashed Rock over the cartoony overselling in the X8 match. Of course, Rock oversells anyway in the rare instances he's getting knocked around a bit.

Giving Chrono Cross another shot (got it used for 5 bucks). It's nowhere near as good as Trigger, but I'm enjoying it so far, while I only barely played it back when I rented it. The music is great, if nothing else.

It's good. The prerendered backdrops are replaced with polys, but it looks fantastic (and takes advantage of the expansion pak). Some people like the N64 graphics more. There are new outfits, and new features like the randomize (herbs and other items are moved into different places), controlling color and amounts of blood, supports the analog stick. The Extreme Battle mode is missing, though.

This makes me wonder if HHH tried to get the ending changed to Backlash 2002, or if he decided it was a battle he wasn't going to win, especially with Hogan's huge pops at the time, and let him have his way.

I picked up DoR after hearing all the "OMG GOOD AS THE AKI GAMES!" hype. After playing Def Jam I know what it could have been, and DoR doesn't stack up. It still feels like a stop-gap between the Smackdown games and the AKI games, but isn't as fun as either. Roster was pretty sad. Play modes--laughable. It still lacked a decent career mode.

Stacy took a pretty nice bump from Vicky during that Hearthrobs match a few weeks ago. I'm not aware of them following it up on any Heats and they ignored in on Raws since then.

OOH! OOH! I can add a few. Well, Stacy was in the middle of an angle, and it's been dropped without explanation for this trade. Torrie basically always wins matches/feuds, so they're boring as hell and seem to never end. Her acting is atrocious, even by Diva standards. She didn't even have any on-air chemistry with her husband. Kidman is gone--cut her and let them be together. Hopefully nowhere near a wrestling ring, that is. It's been proven that when WWE puts her in a feud as a regular character, she tanks the ratings. We've seen her nude already. If the dirtshirts are correct, she has a bad attitude. Maybe they removed her from SD because she may have pissed off a few too many people? I hate Torrie.
