Bret Hart's 2nd favorite Diva.

It's the cast of Rumble Roses, minus the wrestling ability.

I thought Cena couldn't get more annoying when he did "deez nuts." Good job, John.

If he was retarded, then they'd push him more. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WWE push a retarded black man? I don't think so. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cuba Gooding jr is available... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vince would do it, but only for the Coke sponsership <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't get that reference <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The gratuitous product placement of Coca-Cola and Burger King in Radio.

No, DDP level. Although "scum" works better.

The word from people who have seen him work outside WWE and OVW is that he can do other things, in particular high flying, but they won't let him do it and he has to reinvent his reportoire. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought he was supposed to have been extremely unimpressive even in OVW? Which is pretty damning, since Orton was supposed to be fantastic by OVW buzz standards.

I get the feeling if Chavo doesn't make this work, he'll be released very shortly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And if he does make it work, he'll be jobbed out until he's completely heatless, then released.

Beh.. The only thing I could think of was the kiss my foot match a while back.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From KotR '95, the PPV so crappy that tapes of it self-destruct. (There's an induction from July 1 on Wrestlecrap for it)

It would be better if she was dressed up as a pink furby and nailed to a cross.

"Tonight, the Diva hopefuls will compete in a talent competition. There will be several unique talents on display." WWE is not responsible for injuries inflicted by flying ping-pong balls.

Yeah. Considering that wild gorillas rarely live past their 30's in the wild (in captivity they could live a lot longer), it makes sense to portray the original DK as an old man in DKC (there's a 13 year gap).

Lie. Bestiality is usually harmless. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Other instances mentioned on this board would disagree. Well, it's usually harmless for the person, anyway.

Translation: "I instigated this, but I'm going to insult you by saying you're taking this 'too seriously' because I screwed up and simply wasn't ready to handle it." I guess discussing something on a board created for discussion is taking something too seriously It's my opinion. Why do you care? You're the one taking that "too seriously," and yet you had nothing to really defend against it except (if I may set up a strawman, please) "OMG L33+ist N3RDY 5M@r|<y comm3nd!" You're failed miserably at trying to present any sort of counter argument. You've apparently refused to take up my challenge at trying said games and defending them. Since it was just a mundane, uncontroversial statement I had not taken offense do or disagreed with, skimming it was all I had to do. Let the record show that you admit to jumping to conclusions. Accepted. My reaction to the "extreme examples" is based on them representing what I feel is a very awful movement cooked up by braindead executives and pretentious game directors who, if they had their choice, would be making real movies. I'd rather that they not exist, or no one ever play them, than it even remotely catch on. If Batman & Robin were a hit movie, you'd see more comic book adaptions taking the same creative route. Fans of the source material would understandably be upset, since that approach would likely displace any serious attempts such as Begins. Does that analogy make sense? Or it it just elitist, smarky, nerdy, blah blah blah blah, blah? Actually, I'm not tired or irritated at all. You seemed to be making a challenge when you insulting my opinion in the first place. I accepted it. That's all. How? People with plenty of interests feel strongly that crap shouldn't be richly rewarded, since in that case crap spawns bigger piles of crap. FMV games sold horribly, and the movement nosedived. +1 for good taste and the survival of quality gaming. "Paper-thin skin"? Not at all. It's just that in a civilized discussion, I'd assume on this board we'd be above making smart-assed insults, swearing at each other, or acting like immature little kids. Jobber and I had a nice (although heated) discussion going with the DS/PSP, but he claimed that I was acting "like MikeSC" while *he* was making direct insults to me, when I did nothing of the sort towards him. I pointed out the hypocrisy in that and chided him for "poisoning the discourse" in my rebuttal, which he curiously never replied to. He never compared me to CronoT, though. I do. Why can I discuss it without resorting to cheap insults against the person I'm discussing with, but you apparently cannot? This isn't GameFAQs, VX. What a pitiful argument that is. In other words, "if you hold any strong opinions on a hobby, you have no life." You're not very good at this, VX. Although perhaps rather than tailoring the statement to an individual basis, I should have said "gaming public, I would like you to please not buy **** like this. Thank you." Is that more acceptable? You phailed. Thank you, come again. We were never friends, just acquaintances on an internet message board. I'll bear no ill will towards you, though. **** happens. It's fun arguing with Anya, because she's got opinions that are off-the-wall for this forum, but she's a good sport about it when challenged. I'd agree with that, and that's basically my opinion. In Japan, the Sega CD was taking advantage of the medium for more traditional games. US SCD owners were bombarded with FMV garbage, and we'd occasionally luck out and get some scraps of goodness Working Designs managed doggy-bag across the Pacific. If it was just an original effort they did for the heck of it, whatever. It wasn't that awful. However, because of it we dididn't get a US Seiken Densetsu 4/Secret of Mana 2. That's more worth being upset about. I'm not talking run-of-the-mill crap, I'm talking about truly awful, idiotic experiments that I wouldn't mind being banished from our collective memories. I'll admit I have extremely low opinions of people with a certain taste of games, and I've insulted them. Unless they want to defend themselves, I'll gladly hold onto that stereotype of them. Agreed. I don't hate 3D, but certain companieS ONlY want to see 2D games in compilations, and are hesitant to let stand-alone 2D games see release. (Note: not that releasing 15 year old games by themselves is justifiable in most cases, or that SvC Chaos deserved a solo release.) Of course, I don't blame game companies solely, because the blame for abandonment of 2D also falls on the shoulders of gamers themselves. If plenty of console 2D games sold millions of copies, you'd see them more often.

The intimate details, and especially the description of what happened after the hospital visit, screams "fake" or "urban legend." "The woman's name was Svetlana." Was sex with Carl or Master Shake really that much more disgusting to her?

I refuse to watch until they do a Beefcake cameo.

Except I didn't say "the same thing," and that comment had nothing to do whatsoever with the topic, then. I think that there are games out there that cross the line, and then tend to lose the merit of playability. Dragon's Lair is a "game" that I don't like at all, but it has the merits of its animation, atmosphere, etc. Plus, it's very short. It's inoffensive. Games with grainy FMV, bad acting, and no actual playability fail to provide anything of merit at all. I feel they're complete trash, not worthy of being played by anyone. Likewise, I think Xenosaga takes a crack at being two mediums at once--and fails miserably at both. VX seems to be the only one taking offense at those opinions. I wouldn't call it "stupid." The series has retained great gameplay but added more cinematic touches. A more in-depth story wouldn't bother me at all, provided it wasn't extremely linear and terribly restricting. I wouldn't want to see Link traveling around with a party, fighting with a turn-based battle system, etc., though.

Flinging around insults proves your point so well. Nice job. Profanity works great too. What's ridiculous is you blowing it out of proportion. Tell me, have you played Xenosaga? Take a crack at it, consider the message in context, then spew your venom all you want then. I skimmed it. There was nothing important worth responding to. However, because I ignored it that's grounds to insult my intelligence? Is that the best you can do? Yes, because I've constantly said that any use of cutscenes is an utter disgrace to the medium and should be totally banned? This is what you're claiming. I've already said that Anya's clarification on her first statement was perfectly reasonable. You're the one who wants to twist my words into something else, for some unexplained reason. And I stand by them. Go play some of those awful FMV titles like Night Trap, Power Rangers, Space Adventure Cobra, etc. COMPREHEND the fact that I think they're abominations that aren't worthy of being called games. Go play Xenosaga. See how much time you actually spend playing the game vs. how much you're watching cinemas (which I don't think were even so hot anyway). I single out a few examples for criticism that I admit are either part of a dead movement or "anomalies," and you claim I'm speaking about all games that even moderately use them. You swear at me and insult me. You're the one with the problem here, not me.

So who were the hooded men who made UT their bitch
AndrewTS replied to JasonX's topic in The WWE Folder
The topic makes the whole situation seem more sexual than violent. Of course, I don't recall Hassan dragging a hooded Daivari around on his knees. Then there's the Shanes' former gimmick. -
Oh yeah--gameplay remains normal, but you get partial-screen animated close-ups of the action. Very cool. *hands Jingus a Sarcasm Detector*

I think Sony is relying heavily on brand loyalty. Those of us who owned a Sega/Nintendo system in the past are irrelevant to them. They don't need us and they don't care about us. The Playstation made gaming more mainstream. Tons of gamers started playing games with a PS1 and tons started playing games with just a PS2. Sony will do just fine by doing exactly what they did in the past. Microsoft has been doing way too much right for the 360 to *not* exceed the installed user base of the X-Box1. They're going to grow. I don't think they're going to steal many away at PS2's base, but I could be wrong. I wish they'd get that backwards-compatibility issue straightened out, though. However, is there seriously much more room for Sony to grow? Will they sell more PS3s than PS2s?
