I'm sure a regular RE:A DVD set with 2 DVDs just for RE:A is out. I didn't know a 2 disc set existed for the first one. *Checks BOM for the final results on RE:A* People suck.

The friend of mine who has it loves it, although the death-looking dude was just barely killing him after he cleared out the regular baddies. He only started playing today and made it to level 4, though. Dante seems so much more badass in this one it isn't funny--from the variety of weapons, to all the slick ways to use them (he showed me some gun-kata-esque stuff as he mowed down quite a large wave of baddies), and the various ways of fighting you can use sure as hell looks intriguing. Plus, he just reeks of style. Right now he's replaying old levels to acquire more orbs, though.

K-A was stricter, even though it was considered for the same age range and implied basically the same content. I'm almost positive it's a joke. Nobody else is reporting it, and it makes no sense to re-do an entire game's graphics--especially such a new one--just for a pre-order bonus.

Doesn't X-Box in Japan consistently get its ass kicked in sales by "dead" systems like the Wonderswan Color and Dreamcast? I know it did early in the launch. I've asked before and you ignored--where do you get access to these numbers, Anya? It seems anytime a question about sales comes up, you're able to whip 'em out with ease. GC sales are even worse than Japan? Ouch. Isn't the GBA the only system that actually comes close to the PS2 in sales? I remember for a period they were selling more than the XB and GCs, but weren't really *that* far behind the PS2.

I got it used, 4 years ago. I expect the replacement that I get to last significantly longer since I won't be using it as a DVD player nor am I modding it. Exactly. Sony sucks but the selection of games that companies make for their ****ty hardware is unmatched. Everybody knows that MS would have been royally screwed if not for Halo 1/2. "Superior hardware" doesn't mean a damn thing.

And you never hear about a shortage of Gamecubes, either. Didn't Nintendo officially halt production of them because retailers still have tons of them they haven't sold? Poor Nintendo Dreamcube--er, Gamecast.

At this point in time, I think the X-Box does. PS2 has a huge installed user base, but they're not really growing that much. Probably a lot of the buys are people replacing PS2s. I'll be adding another notch to that list soon. In December, I'm fairly positive that Microsoft moved more X-Boxes than Sony moved PS2s (in America, anyway). Halo 2 is the obvious reason. Without question PS2 has the largest installed user base, with X-Box a distant second, and GC dead last. Yay! A company I likely don't have any stock in has a dangerously large marketshare of the the video gaming console industry! WHOOO-HOOOO!!!

I find it so disheartening that people automatically think that skinhead == racist hatemonger. Most real skinheads are NOT racist and hate the boneheads more than an average Joe on the street does. Yes, some skins are racist, but most are not. Yes, people don't give nearly enough credit to the friendly, charitable skinheads who make important contributions to their community. What about Who Framed Roger Rabbit? With Roger Rabbit though, you only had up until a certain time period (sometime in the 40s, IIRC. Don't remember exactly when, havent seen the movie in a long time) With House of Mouse...anything from Snow White to...um...whatever was most recent at the time...was up for grabs. Plus, House of Mouse had The Phantom Blot appear on it. You can't go wrong with the Phantom Blot. I'm only really familiar with him from Ducktales. He had the Cobra Commander-ish voice, correct? I think he was the one who tried to steal the invisible jet. Kingdom Hearts (video game) = another good Disney cross-over effort.

That's only half the time. The other half they're being paid off the big-name game companies to kiss the ass of X title. How the hell do you take a publication seriously that's 50% ads for the same exact products that the mag gives high reviews for, and on top of that, the actual reviews for a game are perhaps 1/8 at the most the size of a preview layout? A friend of mine is getting DMC3/has gotten it already. I'll try to get his 2 cents when I hear from him next. 1up.com is apparently consciously trying to be the shittiest video game review site on the internet. There are a few writers on there I enjoy (Jeremy Parish/Toastyfrog, who I was reading back when he only wrote on his independent site and who happens to share my frothing hatred of Xenosaga, but he's more interesting for his ranting than he is for dry, unbiased reviews), but by and large they're the one who fall in the "clueless twats" category, along with the InsidePulse crew.

If they were to actually see it, it would just convince them they are right. It's stupid, and just makes the people who have legitimate, intelligent complaints about the FCC look like a bunch of morons. "Fuck the PTC" would have been more appropriate, since they're the ones actually filing the complaints while almost nobody else cares.

I've seen reviews for the 16-bit/32X version, but *nothing* for the GBA port. So I don't know if it is a good port or a bad port.
