They'll probably do a restoration if it's ever released on DVD. If so, I hope Lowry Digital does the restoration. They've done a great job in the past. A restored DVD version would likely coincide with Jackson's version hitting theatres. -

Scorcese's getting it. If not, the Academy is screwing with his head something fierce. -

Eh, it works. It's like he crashed on a couch in the lobby and left a wake-up call for when it was showtime for him. -

No big shock, really. It's kinda like all those stereotypical first-gen and second-gen Asians that bust their butts vs. a number of 3rd and 4th gens that are C students (I knew a 4th gen girl who was as dumb as a sack of hammers). "Of course if I say there's a difference between blacks and n*ggers, then I'd be branded a RACIST, yet Chris Rock gets to make a living saying the same damn thing." I love that rant. "If you want to hide something from a n*gger--hide it in a book! Books are like Kryptonite to a n*gger."

Well, Bob isn't witty enough to come up with stuff like that offhand (so says Foley), so it makes it all the funnier. Supposedly she admits to screwing Matt 10 minutes after she met him, but I can't confirm that. The mental image of Snisky grunting and growling while plowing Lita's Hershey Highway is too freakin' funny. No wonder Lita is always pushed. She loves teh hoss cock.

I had been a night owl since I was a little kid, and I'd watch UM with my mother a lot--along with stuff like Kolchak, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Night Gallery... And she wonders why I like those "stupid, weird horror movies." It also made Stack's appearance in Beavis and Butthead Do America all the more hilarious. Stack + the reinactments often made the show, but since they never showed gruesome gore in the reinactments, they'd find *something* to reinact. I'm reminded of when some campers' kids found "human remains" in a forest one time. A segment they did on a haunted hotel comes to mind, complete with a psychic trying to figure out what the deal was. I didn't know Stack died. It's a shame--I've loved to have heard his voice pop up in some upcoming video games (i.e. Area 51, Destroy All Humans) and in some more animated shows. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that wasn't freaked out as a kid by that theme music.
