I'm watching Charlie Brown instead. Thanks for reminding me--didn't know it was playing.

Slipperly slope. Changing one chromosome and customing many, many genes is vastly different that it's crazy to compare them. Deciding the sex isn't all that complicated in theory. A man decides the actual sex of the child, assuming that the woman gives one X chromosome, and the male gives either an X or Y (assuming no rare genetic errors where one X is broken or one of them gives two), so it's all a matter of choosing whether the male gives an X or a Y. Considering the stage we're at in comprehending the human genome, it's so far off it'd hardly worth debating. Although that would be fantastic if we could stop genetic disorders from even appearing. In theory, if it were done widespread, it could much up the balance of the population, though, and that is cause for concern.

*Takes a look at who has the SD title* NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!?

ditto

Brilliant, because pushing HBK's title quest as his "boyhood dream" made him a huge draw and led to record-breaking buyrates, ratings, and attendance.

Oh come on--"Subdivisions" anyone? You were probably the disenchanted nerd in that video Didn't know that song even had one, music geek.

Oh come on--"Subdivisions" anyone? More recently--the album that came out before the current one...eeeeech. I haven't heard the newest one, but the "Summertime Blues" cover was so shitty I don't want to bother. And Geddy's voice sucks, even when he's singing a good song.

They have some decent songs...but come on, they've gotta be in the top 5 geekiest bands of all time, save for their Zeppelin-lite days.

Welcome to the board, you fucking moron. Ban plz

Lemme guess, he said something about "12 year olds on their mother's computers" right?

This ep needs Gene Snitsky.

I thought the AC was conceived of a jackal? Isn't Damian born already in SP?
-
Steph smokes, which I'm pretty sure it well known, but since Dawn was mentioned....
-
What's it running on, incidentally? IOW, how close can we expect the PS2 version to work. T1 and T2 were basically arcade perfect since it was practically the same hardware, ditto for TTT I think, but isn't T5 running on a new board?
-
Since nobody made a bargain-hunting thread in a while (the Circuit City one isn't of interest to me and maybe others since I don't have one around here), may as well put one up and anybody who wants to contribute can. Up at my K-Mart I picked up the PS2 version of PoP: Sands of Time bundled with a PS2 controller. No, not an official Sony one, but a Digital Labs controller. It seems to be holding up rather well, and even if the controller turns out to be crap, it's still a great price on the game. Other games bundled with the controller were Devil May Cry 2 and Terminator 3, so Prince of Persia is the only one that isn't crap, though. I never really played SoT beyond the X-Box demo (which actually threw you right into a point in the game where you needed to already know a lot about the game to make much progress), but it's fantastic, while the sequel is apparently far inferior. If you got it already, it'd make a great gift (got another for a friend). So if you passed on the game up until now like me, go hit it and see if it's available in your area.

Looks like mostly

When I'd heard about the original Survivor, I'd assumed the idea was born out of an exec watching Gilligan's Island during a coke binge. So apparently an exec didn't use enough drugs when he dreamed this one up.

Sorry--15 bucks.

Which is why he's working...where again?

WWE hates tourneys, loves battle royales. However, KotR sucked almost all the time, though...
-
I'm sure lying under oath is nothing new for Vince, but come on--if you buy it as a work, you need to pry the tin foil helmet off your head and get some fresh air. Plus it's giving WWE way too much credit.

If Flair wasn't 10 times the whore Mick was, wasn't drunk off his ass, and if he'd laid out Mick, I'd find it utterly hilarious. As it is, it's merely worth a chuckle. I'd love to thank Mick for coming back to push this fucking retarded gimmick. Which is why Bret wouldn't let it go for years and years and years, it took forever for any kind of apparent reconciliation, and we've still not gotten a Bret DVD. I personally have never talked about "the punch," I've not heard the screwjob mentioned at all in a long time, and come on...like Vince would wait years of not making money off some one to perpetuate an elaborate work.
