I didn't like HCTP, but shockingly I do like this one. Yeah, I have my gripes: there are move set issues (but I don't mind correcting them); the patterns in CAW suck unless you want to make a patriotic wrestler, a hippie wrestler, or a really tacky-dressed wrestler; the roster is disappointing; some little things have been taken out; the attributes still suck (the upper midcarders and main eventers have high ratings in damn near every category); story mode is weaker than HCTP...but... It has lots of positive gameplay enhancements. I like: the heel/face dynamic finally playing a role in gameplay; most of the HCTP enhancements like body-specific damage return; there's tons of room to make CAWs; small wrestlers are no longer the complete bitches of hosses; there's a trick to bypass individually building up CAWs, so I can make my CAWs have any stats I choose; Challenge Mode is hella fun; weapon use is more realistic, wrestlers sell and move better IMO; various little tweaks that make it feel more solid... and Online play. Yeah, the online play is rather bare bones and often has lag, but it's a real shot in the arm for the series. The major complaint I have with the game, the roster, can be fixed with CAW (even if the CAWs may not be as close to perfect as they should be). If you loved HCTP, I can see how you might be disappointed, but as somebody who was playing SYM in its stead when I didn't like it, it's a plenty acceptable step up. Now FIX THE STAT SYSTEM! IT SUCKS, YUKES! But, I don't regret skipping HCTP, then picking this up used (after trade in credit I got it for 30 bucks), plus I can play against a friend who just moved to Florida recently.

Vince is a Democrat I think, although I don't know if he cares for many of the current Democrat leaders. WWE certainly seemed to be pro-Bush in 2000, though. Libertarians have at least some viewpoints that both sides agree with to an extent, and Morely's Canadian anyway, so it isn't as if he didn't vote the way Vince wanted him to.

What was wrong with Chief Morley? I thought he showed some fine, very natural acting in the role, worked some good matches, and cut some great promos during that time. He made the best of it and was *this* | | close to finally breaking away from the stupid porn gimmick... And then they--well, you know the rest.

I'd be more concerned about how nonsensical it would be for the other wrestlers to not beat the hell out of HHH/Evolution. Before Bisch turned, yah, you could argue that the faces and tweeners were intimidated about the sway HHH held over Bisch, but now they wouldn't have anything to lose by ganging up on them. However, despite the buildup of Raw faces teaming up to combat Evolution and despite the consistant pattern of heels kissing HHH's ass just because he's the top heel, it will likely be, as already mentioned in the other thread, it will be "every man for himself" regardless. I predict HBK to show up for the Battle Royale, turn heel, and join Evolution after pretending to team up on Trips, then catching a face (likely Orton) by surprise and dumping him when HHH is about to be tossed.

"I want to call you an idiot, but I'll be nice." It's CronoT, so flame away.

I haven't had any problems with Interact or Pelican, either.

On a related note, I hear that the DS doesn't play GB/GBC games, just DS and GBA games.

I found that the knockoff memory cards for PS1 were terrible. One, oddly, registered as a PocketStation, and lost data for me. I haven't heard about as many problems with the PS2 cards, but I'd stick with either the official ones, or ones that have a good rep. Out of three PS2 cards I have, one is official, 2 are the nyko ones (yellow and black), and I've had no problems. Can't really say either way about the one you're talkinga about. Even with "official" cards, I usually back up the data I'd hate to lose on another card. The 32MB ones are often risky, though, since they expect you to compress and uncompress. I'd be wary. MadCatz' stuff is notoriously poorly made, though. Their controllers are awful and not very durable, and one of the knockoffs I've had bad luck with (on N64) was a MC. Nyko is a little different. I'd gotten a cheap-ass, goofy-looking controller for the DC at a dollar store that was a Nyko, and it was durable and very responsive.

WWE News and Notes from 11/29 Observer

How the hell are they supposed to build to HHH vs. Orton at WrestleMania if HHH is off filming a movie? At least Hogan always knew to wait until after Mania to film a movie. Knowing the sort of piece of crap the movie will be, and the low budget, it shouldn't take long. If Corman was able to film a good bit of his movies in less than a week, maybe they'd only need a month for that one. -
Can you elaborate more please? Just how much better is it than the other Double Dragon games? WP -- Just beat Double Dragon on the Sega Master System a couple of weaks ago so I'm feeling some Double Dragon fever Okay, here ya go. I'd also like to add Super Mario Advance 3: Super Mario World 2 = Yoshi's Island to the list. It's somewhat of a Thanksgiving tradition to play the heck out of the SNES version, and I was reminded of what an awesome game it was. Heh, I've actually played the Master System version of DD myself. Pretty good, actually.

Third Annual SmartMark's Video Game Awards!

I'd suggest dropping Max Impact. -
Ah yes. Insane Thug Life Tazz was the ****. He'd tell a bunch of goofy bad jokes and laugh totally over the top. He was like a short, overly tanned Joker.

Pie in the face. WHAT A DASTARDLY HEEL!!!

oh boy, Backyard Wrestling 2.

Dawn Marie got that nose job finally?

And apparently the ref had to *tell* Torrie that would be a DQ.

He did something...he wore one of the worst outfits ever on WWE T.V. A totally white-bread tall guy rubbing his suspenders and wearing gaudy pants just screams "intimidation." Yup, she's a terrible announcer. Lilian's far better even if she screwed up hometowns constantly.

Why has Toby Keith been around long enough to have a Greatest Hits album?

What's an after-hours club? A gay bar? Jesus probably cheated on the written position of his wrestling license test.
-
"I just received my rest-ling license." So, his matches are going to be like the Bashams'?
-
That's mainly dark meat. I stick with white meat and I don't have much of a problem. Plus, it's not like Suzuki's matches are all that strenuous.

Oddly, this is one time where they could actually use her: have her fill time with a stupid gravy bowl match, since nobody's going to be putting much effort into this show anyway.

I don't think he plays football does he? Mario Blitz 2K5! It should have Chargin' Chuck in it, and the Baseball Boys should be in this one. I don't think Mario's done soccer, either.
