No, haven't heard of that. I've heard it hinted at that eventually Hideo might stop doing any work at all on any future Metal Gear games, though. I really, really hope so. I'd prefer Zone of the Enders 3 would be made rather than Hideo doing anything further with Metal Gear, though. First was kinda lame, but I had a lot of fun with ZotE2. Boktai is little more than a lame gimmick game to me.

Although the end, where a violent gay sexual rendezvous is hinted at, is damn close to being nearly as funny. If Vince Russo was working here WWE'd have done something similar anyway, regardless of how dated it would be.

Ah, I got confused when you said "new." To anyone who has played it: how is Metal Slug Advance? I haven't seen it out in stores yet. I want to smack the crap out of certain reviewers who seem to be utterly clueless that some of the "changes" in MSA were already done in 1st and 2nd Mission on NGPC. They made the games play more like action/platformers than "true" Metal Slug games, and I think they work very well that way (1st Mission I'm iffy about, since I never figured out how to parachute correctly, but 2nd Mission I like a hell of a lot). So if those're the major complaints about MSA, they're not going to deter me. If it's simply not a good act/plat, that's another story, though. However, I'm not trusting magazines that seem to not mind *praising* the awful CT Special Forces games.

Come on, half-assed updates of old fighting games shouldn't cou--oh wait, two half-assed updates of older fighting games are the only real fighting games even nominated for Spike's awards. I say add that, kill Manhunt. (Do they have to be in the same category?)

KoF 2002/2003 coming out at all would shock me. I hope they improved the graphics on KoF 2002, though. Those are some ugly-ass bgs in that game. I wonder if they'll even bother supporting the HDD with GT4 when it comes out. "Consider yourselves lucky. Australia will likely not recieve the new KOF game until December/January NEXT year." Maximum Impact? It's not really much of a loss, trust me.
