"Ric? Ric? Oh ****--he died standing up."

Kimmel...Orton... This seems to make perfect sense.

"You don't like the Zep?" KoOS: Perfectly understandable. Of course, we haven't gotten anywhere near that number of eps over here, so it hasn't worn out its welcome on me yet. I had no idea about the actual progression of the *main* plot based on what we got, though. Still, I find most of the cases much more interesting than "here's a new demon with a jewel shard!" or "Sesh has a new gimmick to try to kill InuYasha with!" The eps they've shown emphasizing the dynamic between the two swords are more interesting, but a lot still comes off as filler. Plus--CN, I know there are more seasons of Lupin...

Eva's well-written, well-directed, excellently voiced...and really ****s up your mind. However, unless you're a jaded anime fan already, I wouldn't recommend it. It deliberately starts out as a bland, cliched, above-average at best anime...then it gets weirder and more screwy as you go. If you want to get some one into anime...don't use Eva. That's more likely to drive them away from anime. Outlaw Star barely gets mentioned since CN stopped showing the eps. I like it quite a bit, although the final eps suck, IMO.

It's alright, but I think I put up with it mainly because Ramna was so astoundingly shittastic, the fact that it comes from the same creator astounds me. Animation and voice acting is iffy too. However, it really drags because you know it's going to be years of eps being translated and aired for them to actually get Naraku. As far as quality, it blows away just about everything original aired on CN by far, in my book.

Both kick ass--and are from the same creator. Live Action Tick also voices Brock. I like Megas XLR a lot, although they take their sweet ass time getting new episodes out. JLU is pretty good, but some eps I have mixed feelings over. I like Case Closed/Detective Conan a good bit, but damn some of the voice acting is hokey and the animation flat out sucks at points. Maybe narrowly, but there's rarely weak episodes. Brock's killing sprees, plenty of Doc. Venture lines (primary because of the way they're delivered), and even the Bros. stupidity all work for me. The one I liked least was the 2nd ep, the one in the space station, although it was important to establish the relationship that "Rusty" had with his dad. My favorite ep would be the "Joy Can" episode or the Dr. Impossible one. Dr. Orpheus is almost a bigger drama queen than Bela. The whole exchange over how the "Joy Can" worked had me rolling on the floor. Plus "I'll be out in a bit, dad! I'm practicing being a boyfriend!" Dr. V: "...NEVERMIND!" When highbrow meets lowbrow... *Monarch exiting a portable toilet* "It was all sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Oh man, this is some funny ****. The questions all suck, as was expected, but the answers are funny.

I haven't heard of any. Clooney's a bud of theirs, Damon's used to being made fun of, the rest I haven't heard anything about yet. I think they realize that even if they w

Plus most of the male ninjas just had DECAPITATION UPPERCUT! OH YEAH!! Plus it was done in that lazy "they look like we cut paper dollies heads off with this" MK3 fashion. Take a look at Classic Jax in MKT's fatality vs. the MKII version. In MKII, we get chunks of head scattered everywhere, and the decapitated body lands on its knees and flops stomach-first on the ground. In MKT--the body just stands there. The 3 family has more variety, but they suck without the detail and work that was put in for MKII. The Pit II fatality vs. the other Pits, for instance. My list of faves, in no particular order: Quan Chi beating his opponent to death with his/her own leg. MK1 Subbie Spine Rip Kano Heart Rip (Although Kobra's version builds on it, the effect of holding up the heart with it beating isn't there) MKII Lui Kang Dragon Chomp (the MK3 version blows, and the MKII version, with the morphing effect, still looks 10x cooler than in MK4) Tsung's Kintaro Morph MKII Kung Lao's vertical slice MKII Reptile's head snack (the UMK3 version is lame)
-
Not if they'd have had Jax scrape the guy off his boot. I thought that "Worst Fatality Ever" would go to Super Sub-Zero's "whoops--we're too cheap to actually add a spine for this one, much like we wussed out on details in so many other MK3 fatalities" fatality. It would definitely be one of the MK3-ish fatalities, in any case.

Stryker is such a weenie. *punches him* "Let's not get pushy, OK pal?"
-
I'd like to seventh (or so, I'm not counting) MK Deception; also playing Katamari Damacy and Midway Treasures 2. "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - Yes Andrew, still." Hey, if you wanna prance around as a prissy, mincing, angsty buttplugger and immerse yourself in shitty, pretentious dialogue all the time--to this very day--that's your prerogative.
-
I thought that was Stryker who was the most hated? Why did you hate him since MK3? Quad Throw? The thing I hated most about MKII was the computer's throw abuse, and thus Jax was even worse--don't get me started on MKII Jax in Trilogy. Although, I never really hated playing *as* him, exactly. I didn't know he was in MK4. *shrug* Of course, I haven't played that much, so either way it makes no difference. Jaysus is there a lot of hidden stuff in this game. I'd went on a buying spree in the Krypt and still there's a ton of stuff. Sure, a lot of probably just junk, but there's a lot of cool stuff as well. This game's totally rekindled my interested in MK, plus the story, characters, etc are better than ever. Who'd know Ermac would ever become really cool? Plus this has one of the best intros I've ever seen. The only one I like nearly as much is Tekken 2's. Anya: I'm a little upset I didn't get all the missions completed in the village. From what I understand, you can't go back and redo stuff there once you're out of the village. Do you know what missions that you *have* to do at a certain time or you miss the opportunity? I'm trying to get everything possible with an FAQ checklist, but some things I can't do yet, and so forth. In other words, what *important* missions should I do and when before it is too late? The stuff you only get koins for doesn't matter. I know I have to make sure I get into the White Lotus when I get the chance, but haven't been able to yet although I've kicked Jax's ass. For reference: I've just arrived at Order Realm for the first time, Hotaru trained me, and I gotta go after the Resistance leader. Wonder where that emissary is; "Parlos Cassina"--*snerk*. Damn, this Orderlies are gigantic tightasses. I prefer the Chaos hippies.

Ditto. Ebert put out some head-scratching reviews before (as can be expected), but that was just insane. Must have been Beckinsale + bustier... I think it definitely works, but it relies more on action movie spoofs than it does political satire. The political satire that is there is hilarious, although some of the jokes are weak. I'm glad I saw it, and there's plenty of memorable moments, but it's not even close to the quality of SP: BL&U. I didn't notice this until a review pointed it out--but the streets of Paris are made of croissants.
-
Heh--that, and the fact that his live actor was really babyfaced. There are a ton of cameos but plenty of characters that aren't really playable. Too bad, because I was disappointed Jax isn't playable. Hell, Meat even made it in. I don't wanna know where he kept those 1000 koins at.
-
I hate you and your ilk. Walken I suppose, myself. I must admit Hackman isn't exactly going to turn me away (although there's stuff like Superman IV), either. He's in Godzilla 2000, right?
-
Plus GameFan's Other Stuff says that they were working on the Playstation and arcade versions of MK3 simultaneously I know the one in my area had a new header, and I could have sworn that there were new sides to the cabinet, but guess faulty memory on that. You're the MK Mistress, after all.

TSM Ninja Tournament Finals Joe Musashi (Shinobi Classic) Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden series/Dead or Alive) Ced: He's supposed to fight using some form of ninjitsu. *shrug* My vote Joe Musashi (probably the only one.. )

Kung Lao hasn't been uncovered yet, so either he's really well-hidden or isn't in the game at all. Which translates to "probably next game." Boon and crew almost always refer to stuff from UMK3 as being "MK3" as well. Ever since magazines began covering the first versions of MK3, it was revealed that the home versions would coincide with a "chip update" for MK3 with new characters. So basically, I think they just shipped out the chipsets and new cabinets for UMK3, so collectively it's all MK3 to them. Neat thing about MK3 and MKII in MAT2--you can zoom the screen in to effectively increase the sprite size and resolution, even on a standard TV. Very cool.

If it happens, Ultimo is a filthy little whore and nobody better bitch "WWE misused him" because it will be all his stupid ass' fault.
-
The only way that'll happen is if anyone Kurt feuds with gets their head decapitated, but then they might die from that. BODIES are decapitated. Heads are disembodied or severed. Plus you leave out the option of scalping.

Okay--and my question relating to home videos wasn't a smart-ass thing. I think that actors would get some sort of extra royalties from home videos, but it would have to be in their contract I think or else probably no go. I see. Maybe he was one of the disgruntled actors too? http://grblitz.overclocked.org/blood2.gif Could you blame Danny? He was just trying to jump on the bandwagon early. I guess since, I assume, Danny was related to Carlos, and perhaps they knew them personally it would seem like rubbing it in their faces? It seems like the suit was put against Midway for an issue that was probably out of the MK guys' hands. Perhaps Boon/Tobias and crew never took it personally. *stuffs Anya in Sektor-ish armor with a heavy helmet* Have fun. The only way I see it happening is if they create "digital skin 2.0" or something. However, they may think of it as being way too much trouble. Sure, they have to motion capture anyway, but once that is done the polygon characters are probably easier to work with and manipulate. Plus, War Gods didn't exactly go over well. Of course, considering that Naughty Dog did their first, cheap-o major project as a digitized effort, it probably wouldn't be too expensive to do a 2D one. However, I could only see a new 2D MK coming out if it were a portable title, but even portables are going 3D now. Sal in Nightwolf gear up close looks like a skinny cross between Ultimate Warrior and Tatanka. I was surprised that it appears that all the ninja costumes had red as their primary non-swapped color. I guess that's easier to swap than other colors?
