Dude, why do you have such a vendetta against this game.. and pretty much any game that Rockstar comes out with? Aside from the usual "I hate their marketing tactics and attitude" line as per usual... GTA3 and so on have/had solid gameplay. Manhunt doesn't have that to support the random acts of violence in it. It's the work of a company that's convinced it doesn't even have to try anymore, because people will buy any slop that they serve up. I'll admit my bias though, because as you said I dislike the company for my own personal reasons.

I ask myself the same thing. Wait, this is Carter we're on about, right? You're slipping INXS. You're supposed to add a "wait, he wasn't" in there somewhere--you know that... OMGELECTRALCOLLAGESUXX0R5LOL2004INTHEYEAROFOURLORD!~

He's not going to come out and say he'll raise them, but that is what he plans to do if elected. It was pointless to slam Bush on that in regards to 9/11, because that happened long before that. However, I don't think the tax cuts were a good idea, either. I'm not a "big government" booster, but I didn't see that the taxes were so high that people needed tax relief.

"the game is not suitable for anyone to play, the OFLC effectively said." Right conclusion, wrong reasoning. Heheh, funny. Oh well, it's not like little things like that matter.

Randy Orton may not be all that over
AndrewTS replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in The WWE Folder
Those shirts are boring, lame, and generic. So the Orton one fits his character to a T. Batista deserves better, though. -
Uh, Kerry needs a helluva lot better showing than a draw in case you haven't been keeping up the last few weeks. It's not bad against a President that's strength is supposed to be the "war on terror." If Kerry hammers Bush on domestic, he could galvinize a lot of support. As it is, a lot of voters who actually support Bush aren't happy about his domestic policies. If he decisively wins that... This is, of course, if Kerry can put together a solid, intelligent domestic platform and not contradict himself every other question. He'd also better make sure Mrs. Kerry doesn't get to make a peep.

Actually, I thought that promo that RVD did--maybe it was against Flair or something like that--where RVD did the worst Flair impression ever, complete with strut, was funnier.

Then I guess it would be the same for ankles? I guess it wouldn't hurt for the wrists, though.

"there's a Star Trek convention near each polling place so lure them out to vote." Republicans should send attractive women to stand out in front to scare them away.

Mix up weight training and aerobics. Best of both. Morning classes/staying up late has left me with little desire to exercise in a while, though. I need to get back into it, because it's embarassing having to cover up that you're winded from climbing stairs (even if there were a lot of them). Would jogging with ankle-weights or wrist-weights be a good idea?

Hungarian/Slovakian. The steretypes are strong backs/weak minds and cheap bastards. I don't believe I have a weak mind...

Damn--already took my favorite. They need to actually subtitle it "The Search for More Money" though. I fear Brooks may have lost his touch though, after that stupid, unfunny mess that was 2001: A Space Travesty.

"The Daily Show: where more people get their news than probably should." Yeah, me too. Stewart himself is okay most of the time, and his comment on American Jews vs. Israeli Jews had me rolling. He certainly beats that smug asshole they used to have. Back in Black was my favorite segment on that show, though.

About as much as JBL is the SD version of HHH.

My bad. Thanks.

Oh--next week's debate is going to focus on domestic issues--which should be Kerry's strong suit. Since he defended himself quite well (even if I don't agree with a lot of what he said), if he can really pull it together it could really make a huge difference. I think domestic issues are going to be really tough for Bush to debate.

This is rather true. Too much of the same old rhetoric by Bush. I'll agree with Rudo that Kerry was clearly the better speaker, was clearly better prepared, and was much more calm and composed. However, that didn't make his answers--or lack thereof--any better than they were. Plenty of things he brought up didn't win me over: bending over backwards for an international community that are determined not to support us anyway, the ICC issue, the phantom plans that Kerry has for everything but won't even hint at the execution of, his personal anecdotes that frankly don't faze me, and his promises to perform certain tasks within an unrealistic time frame. He hardly shed the "flip flop" label here, and Bush did a decent job of seeing that it would stick. I was disappointed to see both of them take some pretty low cheap shots at each other. What, do they think we're in Great Britain? Although Bush praising Kerry as a great family man, then...omitting any mention whatsoever of Kerry's wife cracked me up. If you've got nothing nice to say, I suppose. Kerry deserves a lot of credit for using Bush Sr. words about Iraq. The callers who chimed in after the debate show me that a lot of people will ignore anything said and just hear what they want to hear. The woman who heard Kerry said he'd be bringing back "the boys" quickly was quite funny. Apparently she never heard "add two divisions" or the part about keeping an eye on N. Korea. Too many past Iraa criticisms from Kerry--which are all valid in choosing a new leader, but are irrelevant for the current situation. Iraq is an escalation of commitment that isn't going to be cleared up in "6 months" no matter what Kerry wants voters to believe. All in all, I don't think too many people are really going to have their minds changed by this. Bush supporters will continue to support Bush. Kerry supporters will continue to support Kerry. Bush didn't seem to have any major changes in plans in mind, and Kerry's plans and policies remain a mystery unless you want to take the stuff he mentioned on the campaign trail to heart, because he's not really implemented them into a precise platform. I can't say, watching that debate, that "X is my guy now." As it is, I'm still supporting Bush with reservations.
-
"We need to pull out of Iraq immediately..." WHEN DID KERRY SAY THAT??! Lots of people picked up that Bush looked ticked though.
-
"Kerry showed his intellectual superiority over John Bush....It's appalling that he's our president." "Seemed weak and confused at Kerry's complex ideas..."
-
This woman on C-SPAN supporting Kerry is a stupid bitch. "Bush made us less safe..." he never said that! The body armor thing is a crock, which the pro-Bush woman didn't know...
-
Kerry with the Cheshire cat smile. That's just creepy. ....and Bush amazingly avoids bringing up Mrs. Kerry. Oooh--slam on Kerry for his "his record." Low blow and mean-spirited, Bush.

....a wizard?

Because nobody else pronounces it that way...

"When you turn away from the global warning treaty..." Does he mean Kyoto? Give me a break.
