That might be fine and dandy when they're both only an hour long, but what about when they starting hitting the multi-hour episodes. Some cuts are going to have to be made (Nitro girls, I'm looking in your direction) You kidding? The Nitro Girl footage will stay. The Cruiserweight matches will go.

Heh--JUST before coming here I checked out Rotten Tomatoes, read the synopsis, and decided not to bother seeing it. Not a review, hatchet job, or whatever, but just the synopsis. Of course, I could have been wrong, and judged too harshly... Guess not.

Like Kotz doesn't already have every single song on it...

Kate Beckinsale's cleavage = +2 stars for Van Helsing.

Anyone know who made this? I wonder who the original artist is for it.

Why two interpromotional matches? Likely there will be a Survivor Series Match or some other elimination style match. Maybe Chamber. Taker vs. Rey? What's the point in turning Taker heel? They can't be stupid enough to try to turn Rey heel... So I doubt that one. Yes, he does--but Orton uses that expression all the time.
-
Gah--gas price shot up this morning, I noticed.

It looks like Edge is giving Ric a proctology exam. Taker looks like X-Pac after eating Big Show.

Yes. We need to throw the UN the hell out and tell them to support themselves. Martin +5 SP in my book.

Obviously I meant during their wrestling days, i.e. just in kayfabe. Not in the fashion that he's a total bad guy in the game. His participation in the Tekken games were mainly for competition, not "I want to kill King." Prior to that, though, they had a rivalry going. That would suck. Hey, he only has tried to kill a lot of people, was quite an unscrupulous SOB himself when he took over the Mishima empire, and then there's Namco USA's complete lack of an explanation of how Jun and him got together...well, one can assume certain details were left out of the full explanation for matters of good taste. Riiiiiiight. So a murderer, criminal, businessman involved in shady dealings, rapist; all in all, sounds like a hell of a guy. ?

I've noticed they use the eye-candy more often on the house shows...but that still doesn't make a lot of sense. However, I'm more pleased to see them making monthly appearances and going away rather then being major parts of a feud paired with Billy Gunn. It's a little surprising that Gangrel is able to get away with posing/spitting the VISCOUS RED FLUID on the apron...eh, guess it's different enough.

Never said A. King was "evil," I just said that he was probably just King's main heel foil when they wrestled. Don't know where you're getting that from. Of course, from what I heard about more detailed backstory, the mask is magical and yadda, yadda. Kazuya's an evil guy only really going on revenge, so if they try to make him a sympathic character it's going to be really lame. Plus, he's stupid too. Considering his dad pitched him off a cliff and he survived, shouldn't he have made sure he'd really done Heihachi in? And where does Heih's flaming homosexual step-son Lee fit into all this? The storyline is bad no matter how you slice it. With Kazuya, it's kinda like this: Heih runs an EVIL CORPORATION!~ Heih tries to kill Kazuya by pitching him off a cliff...Kazuya tries to kill Heihachi by pitching him off a cliff...Heihachi comes back and pitches him off a cliff...later on he learn that apparently Heih had his son experimented on with devil DNA.... Whatever. If you cut out the devil stuff, it's still really stupid. The story will suck, so that's why it seems they want to focus on the fighting. You're right to worry about that...what does this guy know about filming a martial arts movie?
-
Yeah, but not at first... If we assume they're starting from the beginning of the Tekken storyline, they shouldn't be buddies.

Hank Hill: Wot in tha hell...?!

King always seemed a bit too large to me to be a true luchadore. Sure, there's guys like La Parka, Psychosis, etc, but those are in the minority, and usually the bigger luchas are rudos. Clearly King was always portrayed as the heroic technico type, friend to children, slayer of demons, etc, etc. like El Santo. Of course, maybe he could get away with it because of the rudo Armor King, who probably was a constant thorn in his side.

About Johnny The Genius Heidenrapist.... It just occurred to me that before Nathan Jones debuted using the "clumsy idiot who can't wrestle" gimmick (see also: Tyson Tomko), there were plans to make him an EEEEEVIL genius. I don't know how they were going to do that. However, now it all makes sense. Vince's idea of an EEEEEVIL genius is a guy who either a) gives long, boring, rambling promos about how great he is and wins almost all his matches, usually by outsmarting his dumbass face challengers or b) a guy who does standard heel stuff, but also READS POETRY and commits the occasional sex offense. Since HHH is now and was back then still using gimmick a, perhaps gimmick b is what was in store for Jones?

Valets don't get wrestlers over, and they couldn't pull off a true MANAGER role. Well, Torrie couldn't. Dawn showed promise of being able to pull it off when she started...but then she inexplicably began drooling over Vince and became a Smackdown "Diva" with no real explanation given. They paired Torrie with Kidman on camera before...despite the fact they were engaged then and are married now, they have as much on-air chemistry as oil and water. Even knowing those two were dating, it was almost impossible to believe it based on the way they acted. The closest I think they got it right with Torrie was when she was with Tajiri. Then they screwed that up with that stereotypical abusive Japanese guy crap, with her rebelling by wanting to strip down to her undies. GURLPOWR!! The only decent female manager WWE's had in a long time was Sunny, and they don't seem interested in finding another woman like that, thinking looking good is good enough. EDIT: Okay, there's Trish, but that was an accident on WWE's part, and I don't really think of her as a manager.

Cole getting Heidenraped...that expression makes him look exactly like the "Buderick" puppet on Princess Kelly's show (Married...with Children). What the hell was Cole rambling about when he said Reigns has been shot, stabbed, been in prison and had his throat slit?

"And ummm...for those who are music illiterate >_>...who is Henry Rollins?" .... Okay, for one--he's a LIIIIIAAAAAAAAR!!!!

Big Show was sleeping for 5 months? You're supposed to hibernate during winter, Paul...

I missed the start of the show--they do a Boss Man graphic?

Spine pretty much summed up my feelings. I didn't watch during the 80's, but his 90's run gave us a lot of great moments, even if a lot of them were memorable for all the wrong reasons. Aside from the silly Show/Snow stuff, it was a pleasure to seem him smack around Road Dogg in Hardcore matches. Whether or not you like WWF's crack at the division, Boss Man was an important part of it and he worked some of the more entertaining HC brawls in it. Boss Man is still my reigning HC champion in No Mercy. *plays his Wrestlemania: The Album theme music...*

Okay, we had some ties in Round 2, so here's how it's going to be... My tourney, so I decide who stays and goes. Lessee...Cyber Ninja--was two different persons, could kill a lot of people and zip around really fast. Looked kinda cool. However, was inspired by a craaaaaaaaaappy movie Namco once was involved in, and in MGS2 was allied with fruity-pants Raiden. Andy Bogard: has the same name as me, brother of Terry, friends with Joe Higashi who ****ing rules, banging Mai but doesn't want to commit. Okay, Bogard The Lesser passes. Now, Raph vs. Psylocke: Well, Mikey's gone, thankfully, and the TMNT are still well represented, so Psy gets the pass. TSM Video Game Ninja Tournament (Round 3) Andy Bogard (Fatal Fury, KOF) Donatello (TMNT) Hanzo (Samurai Shodown) Ibuki (SF3) Joe Musashi (The CLASSIC Shinobi) Leonardo (TMNT) Psylocke (X-Men) Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) Strider Hiryu Venom (Guilty Gear) EDIT: My votes Andy Hanzo Joe Musashi Ryu Strider
