Mordecai was a Taker from a different side of the spectrum, Eugene is another Bushwhacker-esque gimmick, Bradshaw is DiBiase updated for the current political climate...but...this is just a watered down Razor Ramon, with maybe a dash of Konnan. The opponent could always actually chase his opponent outside of the ring, and the game could leave the DQ question as an option. I don't think either man actually left the ring in the Ultimate Submission match, Andrew. I know that in a match with no count outs, and with friends who are assholes, you could easily ruin an Ultimate Submission match. Plus "chasing outside the ring" isn't going to help, you can blow a LOT of time doing that. Sometimes you have to make adjustments for the world of video games. Bottom line is, they were right. Going outside the ring to waste time happens a lot in Iron Man matches, which are very similar. The option should be there to do it that way if you want, though. If not, you should be able to set up a 30 minute, submission-only Iron Man match which would allow you to basically have the same match. I think you can go outside the ring in those. Plus, since heels can get boosts to their heel meter for cheap tactics, the option should be available to do that in an U.S.M., since that's the sort of thing a heel wrestler should be doing. However, it probably should work against a face wrestler. Since it would give a heel wrestler a boost, it would encourage them to be more aggressive once they've been avoiding the other wrestler briefly. Although if used excessively, it should backfire.

Okay, so sometime soon we can do a tournament of ninja characters, but for now, just the games folks (no, last topic wasn't the poll, despite what some people thought. ) Eh, give it a week on this one... At the same time, you can throw in nominations for a ninja video game character tournament. You can nominate as many as you want, but only up to five per game per poster. I'll be a bit liberal on the definition of "ninja." However, these should be primarily video game characters--I'll make an exception if they were a prominent character in a video game, though. However, just to clarify, I decide you goes and stays, basically. I'm not putting all 30 or so ninjas from MK, nor will I put a sorta-ninja who was hiding in a closet in some licensed game and did nothing else. What is the name of the ninja in I-Ninja, BTW?

As mentioned by others, yeah, they're pieces of crap. If people buy them and they break easily or don't work well, cry me a river. Carts last a helluva long time. The only problems you usually run into with them is if gunk is on the contacts and won't come off, or if batteries in them die. I think the average cartridge game probably has a longer life span than a CD/DVD, because the latter requires great care, and often when you get used games, you see some people just are careless or don't give a damn. Definitely. I'd have snapped up a Donkey Kong Trilogy, but not that waste they released. Hmph, I got a 10 year old Game Boy title for 10 bucks that's far superior to that piece of junk. If you try opening an NES cartridge, most of the time you'll a tiny sliver of actual guts to the thing. It's almost all plastic. That's almost 20 year old technology, folks. Nowadays Nintendo can stick those games on E-Reader cards. Nintendo should be releasing compilations like Konami, Namco, etc. are doing. You're basically paying for the packaging and the wireless connectivity with the NES Classics. Almost every single one of the NES Classics titles are available in compilations or in another superior form on the GBA already. Imagine, some people call Sony and Microsoft "evil"... I don't mind paying for old games if it is a good value. Mega Man Anniversary Collection, Midway Arcade Treasures--those are worth it to me. Yet, Nintendo isn't re-releasing titles that were quality and could win people over with a little bit of marketing muscle. NES Punch Out and Wrecking Crew (which was in the Classics line in Japan, actually) would be neat to play again. After their crappy remakes, I'd love to see a revival of Crystalis or River City Ransom. Oh well, I guess that's asking too much, though. That's why Xevious is a great choice, IMO. It was a great game, hasn't been remade into a far superior game for a better price, and still is enjoyable today. Did ANYONE like Ice Climbers even 20 years ago?

They could very well ban the SSP. Brock got hurt with it, Kidman's been hurt plenty of times with it, and a variation of it seriously hurt Hayabusa (before the Asai Moonsault, that is). There's plenty of safer top rope moves, and if Kidman can't do another move from the top rope he can get a new ground finisher. Give him the X-Factor, even, it's not like Pac's coming back soon... (I hope not, at least.)
