Too bad. Have any movies not based around the most famous and beloved superheroes gotten any respect? Sure, Supes, Batman, and Spiderman all have at least one decent-to-good movie to their credits, but you rarely see it for "lesser" characters. Since even the more well-known ones rarely get decent movies, I guess that's not a surprise.

Yes, because Kylie has had so much Box Office Success. Anyone remember "Cut"? Nope...I remember "Street Fighter" for all the wrong reasons, though. Well, in canon any relationship, or lack thereof, between the Bonds is irrelevant. Just a code name taken up for their top agent I believe (I'm sure Zsasz will be glad to clear that up better). Of course, at least one of the Bond's got a...uh, talented brother: hypnotist, plastic surgeon, archer, master of disguise...although he's dumb as a sack of bricks with adversaries to match, but that's why he's not their top agent. Chalk me up as another one that would be cool with Jude Law.

It's kind of hard to tell from the picture if the boots are rather flat or have heels. Which would be better/more practical/cooler-looking? It seems to depend heavily on the rest of the costume... I saw a wicked-looking illustration before of Batman that had the heels very noticeable, but too much and too little and I'd imagine that'd be a pain in the ass for both Bats and any actor playing him.

Kane's usually on 1/3 of all the PPV posters these days, isn't he?

As a platform gamer, I recommend... Metal Arms: Glitch in the System Jak II PoP: Sands of Time (unless...you know...you have an X-Box) Ratchet/Clank Going Commando Klonoa 2 (if you can find it) Mega Man Anniversary Collection Fighters to get: Guilty Gear X2 Virtua Fighter 4: Evo...if you actually like those games *cough* Tekken Tag *cough*

"John Heidenreich and Paul Heyman would cost Undertaker the title since Heidenreich is getting the slot originally geared for the departed Mordecai." The bookers are coked out of their fucking minds.

Even if he had been, remember that Spanky didn't exactly get the red carpet rolled out for him either. Okay, they at least used him for a good bit, but as soon as he went back to using the "Spanky" name he got shafted to the B-shows until they needed a bumper to sacrifice to Brock. Tip to London: find and rub elbows with some powerful friends... I don't see why L+K can't be the current Hardy-ish blowjob tag team, though. Even if they don't get massive pushes they're still useful to bookers.

Eh, I liked Wario Land 4, although it wasn't nearly as good as 2. 3 was confusing and stripped you of all the Wario II skills, making you earn basic skills. Plus, how do you know if you need to play a stage during the day or night? Maybe I just didn't "get" 3, though. Marvel Super Heroes is a classic? Vampire Savior, 3rd Strike, Alpha 2 are classics to me. Also, Marvel Super Heroes is a sequel to X-Men CotA, so don't act like it was a completely original game. Hell, even the "new" characters were similar to the old X-Men fighters.

Yeah, I found out in the other thread. Strangely, I checked episode guides, and there are two seasons (26 eps long), so it's odd they didn't at least put one set out yet. Bah...Superfriends!?
-
Damn, you're right. I thought I'd seen a Justice League one but apparently I was mistaken. =/ I wouldn't rule out them putting one out, because I still see some of the old Batman TAS DVDs even though the box set made them obsolete. I guess a JL set is coming later.
-
I think you are talking about the Justice League Collection DVD Set. If that is the case it collects the first 3 Justice League DVD's that have the first eleven episodes of the show. Here is an episode guide for info Starcrossed is out on DVD as well. Bought it myself yesterday. I don't think so. It's a box set like the Batman TAS set, although I think it is the whole first season.

My thoughts exactly, but I thought the entire post spoke for itself. THERE IS ONE! Thank you, DF. Also, even though I am one of the few who like it--Streets of Rage 3. Completely unnecessary changes were made from the Japanese version, the animation and music took a major hit from the fantastic SoR2, level design isn't nearly as cool, and I missed Max (probably the only one).

"Then again, us Brits love a good reason to discuss things ad-nauseum so this'll no doubt run for months and probably screw up the new GTA game." Or, just to be assholes, the next R* game will feature you playing as Jack the Ripper.
-
Both. It's backwards compatible just like GBA and GBC. Plus, of course there will be new DS games. $$$ Sonic, of course. With the new design, I think if DS gets a good amount of games, I'll end up picking it up. By the time it rolls around I probably will have dropped my SP for the last time. I'm also not shelling out for a new pair of hand grips so I'm thankful they've reverted to the horizontal design (like the first GBA, Game Gear, NGPC, Lynx, etc) design over the vertical (DS, GB, GBC). However, it *must* have a decent line-up before I fork out for it.

Sounded like he just meant that as a figure of speech. I repeat for those who didn't read the Starcrossed thread-- Would some one let me know what episodes are in the DVD set that is out now, and if it includes Starcrossed? The episode previews seem to indicate Timm and crew haven't gotten carried away like kids in a candy store just using as many of the characters as possible, so maybe my worries are unfounded.
-
End result--chock up another victory for good taste. Any time something bad happens to Rockstar I rejoice.

Need attention, eh? Can't really comment since I haven't actually seen Starcrossed (set the VCR to record it...but sometime after I was out at the time on Sunday the power went out. Argh), however the comments that apply to the series overall I mostly agree with. It's also my biggest concern about Unlimited--except for the usual suspects, the JL characters didn't really get the cool personalities and character definition I would have liked. With so many more characters to work with, I think any focus on character is going to be taking a backseat to action and plot. Although Batman is still as cool as ever, and remains more intelligent than just about all of the old League combined. That kind of makes the rest of them look kind of weaksauce, though. Oh, since Starcrossed appears to be the last two episodes of the first season, is it on the DVD box set? The box sets around here sold out rather quickly, so I don't recall if it was "Season 1" or "Volume 1." I'll seen all of about 7 episodes of Justice League, so I'd be interested in checking out out. Plus it's far cheaper than even used copies of all of the two-episode DVDs of JL that are out, combined.

Insane. If so, he's gotta be more bulletproof than Jericho.

A wise one, you are.

Anyone who has owned an Ericcson can attest that it's smart Sony opted not to go the cell phone route with this. Most worthless piece of crap phone around outdone only by (ironically enough) a Nokia I had before. Regardless, too damn much money in either case, but even more so with the PSP. DS has no interesting games lined up, and the PSP isn't even really a portable. It's PS2.5.

Yeah, really persuasive there. And no, that'd munch. Marvel Super Heroes has 3D backgrounds? Anyway, the backgrounds are even more sad when you consider they looked waaaay better in SNK's DC port of KoF'98 (Dream Match 99). Sure, they looked less than perfect but at least they looked like the characters belonged there. I think if you bank on any of them being good, you deserve what you get. Some former AKI team members worked on it, hence the high expectations. I'd like to throw in Lament of Innocence. It's very odd Capcom out-Castlevania'ed Konami with DMC(1).

Bah...women. I'll still make fun of anyone owning a pair of testicles that admits to liking those games anymore. At least you have an excuse... So, what exactly are all the competition that it beats out? Dating sims and hentai games? I'm curious, throw me a bone here. Although at least it sounds more plausible than most of your "Final Fantasy....best" assertions. I more or less agree, but if we could only get Match of the Millenium's gameplay (with a touch of CvS2's), the backgrounds of Cv.S with the quality of the remixed music tracks found in the home versions of CvS...that'd be awesome. Capcom can choke on their polygonal backgrounds. They look like ass. Bah. VPW2 > No Mercy. And yeah, there still is yet to be a 3D wrestling game to really top the cream of the crop that Aki brought us (NM/VPW2), except for possibly that Fire Pro that I don't know anything about. Certainly none that have come Stateside. Yukes: We've increased the poly count 25%! The gameplay IS GETTING WORSE, THOUGH! And X9 also contained WWE Betrayal 2 aka Revenge mode, as a free crappy bonus at the exchange of a decent career mode!

Like racism angles, a Mark Henry return, or a Mark Jindrack push?

That wasn't so terrible. It wasn't really supposed to be funny. Just really obvious and illogical.
