They'd have to somehow explain that whole "falling 30 feet to concrete" bump that Angle took, though. ...like WCW explained the Giant being thrown off of Cobo Hall? ...or how Austin dropped that car with HHH in it?

I think they'd have to be a hell of a lot older than that to be public domain, especially since, because of the NES Classics releases, Nintendo may have renewed the copyrights if it was necessary. Changing the names would protect you from copyright infringement in this case, because the actual work itself was the property. It's a bit different than, say, an unlicensed licensed games (you know what I mean) being sued for for infringing on intellectual property.

I usually go with half.com. On Ebay you pay a fee regardless of if you sell it, and then if you do sell it there's an additional "final value fee." However, Half.com is very inflexible as far as setting shipping fees, so I use both depending on what I'm selling. Cheaper stuff--go with half.com. More expensive stuff--go with Ebay. However, Ebay owns half.com (they bought them) and they're closing it in October...so I'll have to Ebay or find another site like Half. "Your video games are even better than cash when you trade them in at Gamestop!" ...that is, if your cash happens to be Turkish currency or something. A fairly new game that cost 40 bucks new being worth 7 bucks trade-in credit isn't "better than cash." Yeah, I figured that's why it was 2 bucks more than the MSRP and USED to boot. I typically go to rental places and find a number of the pre-played games overpriced...then I wait for a price drop. Pretty sweet when I was able to get 4 for the price of 2 at Movie Gallery, snatched up the decent $14.99 titles, and sold half of them and basically got the other two for nothing.

Depends on whether or not the "board of directors" catches wind of Angle's antics and decides to remove him. Of course, he only has been faking injuries after supposedly being thrown off that balcony, screwed a couple of wrestlers out of titles and ruined the ending to the SD WWE Title cage match. For the WWE board of directors to actually remove anyone from a GM position I think either they have to fire half of their roster or something. Theft, murder, threats, sexual harrassment, satanic rituals, etc. are okay still, I think. Hmm--what if Angle has been faking it the whole time and Big Show was in on it? It was all an elaborate plot to...uh...have Angle run in dressed as a luchadore and screw Eddy out of a title shot at the end of a TV show. However, Angle was unmasked... ...which wouldn't have been a problem if Angle just bribed Shannon Moore or Akio or some one else to run in and do it. Anyway, until the feud with Luther is over, the title could still be on Cena and back off again. It would be pointless to have the title on the line for that feud, because Cena doesn't need it, Angle doesn't need it, but it could be very helpful to Booker T, Dupree, or much more likely, Suzuki. Big Show should be back by Survivor Series, correct?

Wasn't there a segment where Kurt fired all the SD Divas? I assumed it was in the first 15 minutes that I missed, but a West Coaster says it wasn't on at all... Which is a relief, because I guess that means it's not going to be a major plot point and they're not moving them to Raw... For now.

No. Some little girl was scrolling through the list and I saw "Tekken," "King of Fighters," etc. Of course, multiple labels...probably both of them are some third-rate anime fighting game knockoff. So basically for 45 dollars you can get a few working NES games and play it on your TV? It's not too bad...except that, for free, you can download and emulate those games, and it's every bit as legal as that thing is. QVC? Geez, Nintendo's anti-piracy efforts are really quite slack these days. Props on the detailed report, Smues.

I didn't watch. So, think the thing is rigged?

So wait a minute--Smackdown is an hour and a half?

Are the Dudleys still with Heyman? I don't recall Heyman getting Morgan or Jones over...it's been a while, though. John can sound INTENSE!~ in a video package--means nothing.

Only one hour guys...then the Raw Diva Search special. Hmm...*going to check to tickets to the Pittsburgh Raw* Oh please...Hossenfeffer is coming to SD. Yeah, just what the show needed.

I'd argue that Cena is so over he doesn't need the title. Fans want to see him anyway--would more of them come to see him if he held the title? You'd have a bit of a weak midcard without him. However, you do have two ready-made feuds in Angle and Undertweener if he was holding the title. Can't argue with anything there... except that you don't want him to get that "choker" label from the fans. I don't think he'd be considered a "choker" unless he had a number of high-profile PPV title shots and lost them all. He's had, I believe, one, and that was last year.
-
I doubt that--he can actually work a mic unlike Benoit, which is the main reason I believe Benoit's getting so little focus put on him now.

We need to find something positive in this. Well...at least Suzuki's just a U.S. title contender and probably won't be holding it.

Suzuki... *beep, beep, beep* (dumps truckload of hate)

"Street Fight Kane Vs HBK Chris Jericho Vs Randy Orton" Huh? The second one I could see as possible, but they haven't done anything to hint at it last Raw. HBK vs. Kane? Was that rumored ahead of time or what? If that's what is to come out of the pregnancy angle I've gotta scratch my head and ask "huh?!?"

*hates Spike Dudley*

If one of them were to be used, the 90's one should be. It's the closest to the movie uniforms while not being extremely plain, and won't look extremely silly on the screen... Good thing it seems to be just a rumor still. That'd suck.
-
"That Dazzler cover was from the 80's btw." I'd seen at least one other costume design, and I didn't like that one either. I've never liked the "eye spark" thing at all, regardless of it is on Dazzler or Cable or anyone. EDIT: there was a "skimpier" silver costume, right? If they were to go with this version I don't know if they'd have gone with Jessica, since she seems to look far more like the version on the 80's cover...

Not necessarily. Raimi changed both small and major elements to the Spider-Man character and original plot. Only the most anal and obsessive fans have even batted an eye over it. If the changes made are sensible seem to be made with a respect for the source material in mind, I don't think you'll see much complaining. That was in the vast minority, however stuff such as the resemblance, her "brother" looking absolutely nothing like her, and so forth seemed to be perfectly relevant. Most of it was somewhat positive, although the track record of some of those involved produced some doubts and concerns. A director who only did "Barber Shop" working on a comic-book action movie...yeah, I could see being worried about it.

I wouldn't say her whole character is bad...I know next to nothing about the character, but I don't find the character design (the look, that is) to be at all pleasing. I find it ugly, gaudy, and just plain goofy-looking, even for a superhero. If they could redo it and make it practical and appealing, like they did the team uniforms, then I'd say it could work. If she is a fairly important character during the Phoenix saga (which it seems she is...) then it's good and fine to have her in the movie. That doesn't mean I agree with the casting choice at all.

Yes, it was rather disappointing I think. It isn't even as if that was one of their first times working together, since I believe in late 2003 they were involved in a number of tag team matches together and surely they'd had house show matches leading up to it. The iffy off-on psychology and odd match flow left me rather disappointed. The kind of story they would go for in this match could be interesting depending on how they build up the feud. Is Angle going to resume the same character he was during the WM feud? If so, he'll probably attempt to injure him before the match and focus on a weakness, but would Angle's neck, leg, back, etc. storyline injuries factor into the match at all? Hopefully they can resume the WM feud with the same quality, because the actual story going into the WM match worked quite well and even had me marking out for the match.

There's nothing in the "7 Simple Rules" or the rules on the top of this forum pertaining to that. That was simply a friendly little reminder. You really should wish all "invitations to flaming" were nearly as nice. It was a simple statement of fact, because nikjohns seems to scold you constantly for a number of remarks.

I called some one a dumbass for no real reason? I don't believe there's any rule saying "something Zsasz finds...yadda yadda isn't permitted."
-
Zsasz: Trolling & Flamebaiting The following will not be acceptable: - Insulting someone because of their opinion. Period. I think I'd already made it clear how laughably unrealistic the character models in HCTP were, and how it was therefore insulting for them to include Bra and Panties matches. Therefore your entire argument falls flat. Try to keep it on topic and act a bit more mature. You're really not doing yourself any favors. He never really said "head to head." I believe he merely was saying he preferred Heyman in a GM role as opposed to Angle, Bischoff or any of the other authority figures.. There's so little interplay between GMs since Stephanie left the position I don't know how you mistook that comment for something else.
