You know, I haven't read most of spoilers... BUT GEE, I WONDER WHO EL GRAN LUCHADOR IS?!??!

Family Guy is pretty good, although there's weaknesses in the writing at times, and they just paper it over with an irreverent pop-culture reference. For example: Last night's episode we open with...that guy on TV painting...and he puts down a "happy little bush." Then the TV painter guy says that nobody better tell anyone it's there...or he'll come to their house and "cut" them. Peter is apparently trying to follow along--why I don't know since it doesn't fit his character. However, his doesn't look anything like the landscape that was being painted...but instead it's the family portrait from Family Ties, and the theme music for that begins playing... WHAT?! In contrast, on Mission Hill we see the same TV-painter-guy being parodied...but acting normal...we wait for it, wait for it--and he puts down a "happy little tree." The room bursts out in cheers, as apparently the group had been having friendly little wagers over it. I found the latter instance a lot more funny, and the former I found to be very lame. I don't know what people are talking about with the ATHF episodes being repeated...I've been watching it for about the last 3 weeks + and I haven't seen the same episodes twice except for sometimes on the weekends.

Let me reiterate: Wow, people who play video games regularly get better at them? GET OUT!!! Anyway, this is just something to make people think Congress is actually doing something. The "targeted" companies aren't in any real danger or facing any major problem. They'll just have to fend off lawsuits from dozens of idiots and ambulance chasers. Think about it--the net result of all their efforts amounts to places like Wal-Mart not carrying "mature" games. They didn't even really bring about the ratings system because before the ESRB was established Sega already had been self-regulating, and Nintendo slapped a rating on MKII for their systems. The only ones to really get ticked off about it would be young people who can't vote. It's kind of safe for these guys to go after this "problem" since teenagers under 18 aren't their constituents.

http://www.planetmut.com/CINO.jpg Catwoman, the Barbie doll! "The big question now is who will they cast as Dr. Doom." Considering how much WB cared about what the studio did to Catwoman, be grateful that the most obvious choice is busy being a governor right now.

"But can Jessica Simpson, a singer with barely any real acting experience pull off starring in her own film? " Since she can barely pull off a pizza commercial, no.

You're assuming Republicans will still be controlling Congress for a while... Sure, it's been that way for a long time... I'm a Moderate Republican (liberal on some issues) in a Democrat state in a particularly Democrat county. My vote is worthless. *shrug* Even if I liked Kerry, voting for him isn't worth the risk of jury duty.

Seconded. That's just funny...

First off, I'd like to say that if Angle comes back to wrestle, having him as an on-air heel character will counter-act the usual "welcome back" face-ness that injured guys Angle's stature usually get no matter what. As for who--Angle's last wrestling feud was with Eddy and Angle is definitely needed in the main event if he's healthy. Plus, dealing with Cena first would just create an unnecessary buffer feud that if Angle won, he'd have to logically move onto Eddy anyway, but at the same time it would hurt Cena since Angle won their last feud decisively. If Angle lost, it wouldn't make much sense to then give Angle a title shot unless a heel GM does it just to get more heat on Angle. Of course, the Cena feud would be desirable because it would get Angle a feud that, if he was injured again during it, the main event picture wouldn't be thrown right back into jeopardy.

No matter how you slice it, the Intercontinental and World title divisions of Raw are far superior, and SD's is rather lacking. There are some very solid choices for Smackdown to run with for both, but they just aren't doing it now or those guys are being wasted doing something worthless. However, the Tag Division and Cruiserweight Division on Smackdown should be awesome. I'm hoping they actually decide to utilize it, because they're currently making a total waste of it (Cruiserweight title is an afterthought, cruisers are hoss fodder, the title's lineage has been heavily soiled). The tag division on Smackdown is vastly improving, and has Raw's beat by a mile. The Women's division on Raw drags the show down. Smackdown doesn't have any women who can wrestle so they shouldn't even bother wasting time with that at all. Smackdown needs to cut the crap with the constant Torrie angles no one gives a damn about. Filler is just fine when the rest of the show is solid. However, filler on a show that can't stand up on its own as it is actually is a detriment.

I picked up the box set today. After my final tomorrow I'll be checking it out. Oh, and with this and Justice League you get a FREE PASS to see Catwoman! Hot damn!

"-Xbox is only 150.00 plus if you buy one from Gamecrazy free copy of Brute Force (Which isn't a bad multiplayer game.)" I got mine for 79.99 used at a CD Warehouse. Gamecube is a great second system. It's not a great primary system though. If you don't have a GBA, the Gamecube can be used to play all Game Boy games with the Game Boy Player, BTW. However, that could run you 50 bucks. Stick with the PS2 unless you can game on Pokemon and Mario alone.

I agree that WWE will die in the third generation unless Shane and Steph turn over control of WWE to a group of persons very knowledgable about the business who are in touch with the viewing audiences. Shane doesn't have a clue how to run WWE and doesn't want to. Steph, completely unfettered by Vince's supervision, is a disaster waiting to happen, because we saw what happened when she took control. Of course, HHH will probably end up being the one to actually be the head of operations for the company once he retires. Having him in charge has its advantages and disadvantages, but he would at least have a far better chance of keeping the ship righted and smoothly sailing than either of Vince's kids. If ratings dropped low enough for Spike and UPN to drop their respective shows, WWE would last a lot longer still? EDIT: Some one said it already.

To any parent worth his/her salt, it's failing. Plus in college it basically means you've failed the course if you get below a C. Thankfully these two words kept me from completely agreeing with a Banky post. Maybe it's just personal preference, but while I agree he's had some shining moments, by and large Farrell has always been really annoying to me and when he goes completely over the top I've never found him funny. *shrug* That's why skits done only a handful of times in the early days are still remembered today, but MANGO STILL ISN'T NOR WAS IT EVER FUNNY!! Although SNL sometimes is pretty decent when they have the right guest host, although naturally their stuff is scripted like everyone else. The circa Orange-County Jack Black episode (which seemed to actually spawn an Aqua Teens ep with the "new Birthday song") and the Rock ones stick out to me. Also, it's a shame Lost in Translation didn't get the acclaim it deserved, but Murray whizzed away the cred from that by doing Garfield. I don't think it's the non-improv nature of current SNL killing it; it's the lack of talent on the part of both writing and performance.

Hint to Pauly-- a) That doesn't work when your mom bought you a career. see also: I don't think anyone will be weeping for Tori Spelling merely on the basis of her TV work. b) You ain't Andy Kaufmann. If Pauly really died, he'd be lucky to be mentioned in a Leno monologue. The Hiltons, Carrot Top, Adam Sandler, and Fred Durst all were in this movie and the universe failed to implode from their combined annoyingness?

It was 100% clean and un-fluky in every way, so most likely an upset. Is Torrie screwing one of the bookers or do they actually have a plan to push these guys? Also, shouldn't one of them be able to work a mic if they're going to get an actual push? Or are they building them up as a last resort for Duds to squash at Summerslam since the SD tag division is dead?

Since I have a crappy computer on dial up, was is it? A Metroid 1 hack? Completely original? Does it play as-is or is it a ROM that needs to work on an emulator?

Mick Foley was at my college...he was alright, although him having no shame for being involved in that Nash-HHH program makes me shake my head in disgust. However, his story about "making Dee Snider a better man" was quite cool.

Sorry THEY all look the same. Ah, ha! I was right. Yeah. It is just that I'm losing interest or has Raw kind of lost the luster it had for a while? Maybe it's because they don't have a clue how to book Benoit to seem important while building up all the matches properly. Has Kane/Matt actually been booked? It should have been last week I suppose. It's hard for me to care about it, though. I never thought I'd say it, but I'm actually starting to miss HBK.
-
It's very sad that no one has doubts about Kidman being a tag title holder, but they do London. =/
-
I missed last week's Raw, but I can't be the only one that didn't know that Benoit vs. HHH was next week, right? I suppose we'll see some sort of filler. They might throw together a women's title match if Trish is up to working it. I find it odd that HBK apparently won't be on this card at all. I thought it was Edge vs. Orton for the IC title at the PPV?
-
Pack it up and send it to M$...however, the X-Box's size...and shipping... Ouch. I've done something similar with my Dreamcast before, but that's a big difference. Is your warranty with the store or M$?
-
Both I think. It's been awhile. Any idea when it's coming out? September 18th, I think, but I'm fairly certain in September.
-
Probably people heard about the deals and hit the stores already. I was going to go back now that I have the list, but oh well...I guess not.

Rando: Good think you said "or." I wouldn't stand for Poison on my wrestling show.
