They aren't necessary, but they're GREAT for lazy writers. Otherwise they'd have to use just the wrestlers to tell the story. Remember that McMahon vs. Austin made a lot of money! I also have a theory that Foley had his hands in a lot of the booking around the time of his angle with Orton, and now that the angle is over and presumably Foley is gone for a while, the writers have gotten into the same routine again. Me too, but that would make sense.

Kidman is healed up, but his skills have degenerated to the point where the one thing he had to get crowd response, the Shooting Star, seems impossible for him to pull off. So the worst's most boring cruiser, the guy with absolute zero charisma, now can't wrestle anything worth watching. So he's a) small b) sucks in the ring c) sucks on the mic, and d) is injury prone. However, even when he was any good, WWE still pushed him over the most talented, more charistmatic Noble, who has been more over than Kidman ever was in WWE and has a more marketable character. Kidman has been given plenty of shots in WWE...and he blew all of them. London's never been given a real chance by WWE, and is far better than Kidman ever was when he was healthy--big difference. However, I'll readily admit London is at a big disadvantage since he's small, apparently doesn't cut good promos, and has questionable charisma.

A friend of mine goes to cons all the time. He's thin and in good shape, used to play football in junior high...basically he's normal, but is into anime, gaming, drawing, and other geeky past times. First off, naturally a Democrat brings up outsourcing... *chuckle* So, is Kerry going to outlaw outsourcing if elected? Okay, while Kerry's camp has a point about the new jobs if correct, a better alternative is paid community service? Although Bush mentioning the new jobs "are in fields that" pay above-average wages but neglecting to mention the wages of the new jobs is rather annoying. Now certainly *this* will end all fears about outsourcing. I could be wrong, but wouldn't an increase in minimum wage cause increased layoffs? I don't necessarily find Bush's economic policies to be completely sound, but these proposals seem suspect. Either way though, isn't 2007 when the crap is really going to be hitting the fan with the Boomers retiring? Whoever's in office is going to have that problem to contend with.

It's hard to even remember that Benoit still holds the title and HHH doesn't have it.

Long is on Smackdown--they'd have to move Henry and Mack to SD or move Long back to Raw. Since they want to push Jindrak, the latter is unlikely.
