Ryu doesn't seem like the sort to do that. Sakura: You sure? Well, some one should have a correction sent in. Final Fight One for GBA has Billy and Sid I'm sure, but I don't recall Roxy/Poison. I'd have expected Nintendo would have loosened up by now about it. I haven't played the CD version of Final Fight, though, nor the arcade.

Wait, everyone wants Billy Kidman pushed?! I thought most people on here hated Kidman. Oh well..... I like Billy. It's a shame that he isn't a stud on the roster, and is basically only there (IMO, don't know for sure) because of Torrie. His feud with Hogan in the late days of dubya cee dubya was great, and shocking to say the least. Kidman got over in WCW, but he was still getting cheered by a dwindling audience, and when he had to cut any promos, he demonstrated rather poor delivery and clearly they were scripted for him. The current problem with him now is that he simply can't cut it anymore. His ringwork is very poor compared to even a couple years ago, probably due to injuries (or Torrie sapping his mortal soul from his body, something like that). When he does his own finisher he botches it half the time (that's hardly an exaggeration, either). What's the use of an injury-prone, broken-down cruiserweight that botches moves and can't cut a decent promo? He's a white, English-speaking Ultimo, as far as I'm concerned. Previously banned poster. If you sign up for another account and a mod finds out, you are to be banned, no questions asked. There's only rarely second chances given, such as a misunderstanding (Sakura) or Banky redeeming himself by helping Dames with the board.

Running out of ideas? I don't get what you mean. Maybe for host segments, sure, but the riffing was usually pretty strong. However, the Sci Fi eps suffered from the loss of Frank and Trace (Dr. F). Mary Jo (Pearl) was a poor substitute for Dr. F, and with less writers you're going to have a smaller variety of humor. However, I always thought Bobo and Brain Guy had some great chemistry going in a lot of episodes. The comic was way better. Ole! -
Actually, Lavos came from space originally, crashed into and burrowed deep into the earth. The rest you pretty much have the gist of.
-
Naw, some of it doesn't really list any support, but a lot of it is game-supported. I'd forgotten about the Alpha 3 stuff, although I'd played it.
-
Why the outrage, Deon? I originally had believed Vega was a bit funny, because of the bishie-ness about him, as well as his vanity (narcissism often is a sign of repressed homosexuality), so he's probably bi. Still, no explanation as to why Ryu was once a redhead or why Guy was once a white guy.
-
I agree, but the Queen would be the main sentient villain. Lavos is more like an emotionless animal/force just sating his appetite. It makes for an interesting concept, but not for a scene-stealing villain.

The only problem I had with it was that I was never a morning person. The Sci Fi eps are mostly pretty good, although overall rather weak compared to the glory days, I think. They did lose several of their writers, so that's why. Still, they had quite a share of classic episodes. Soultaker is also quite awesome due to the cameos of Frank and Joel. "You can really see the Kurosawa influence...this being on film as well." *shot of a balloon with happy face after the crash* "Just cram the irony down our throats!" The fact that the screenwriter/star wrote a scene with her mother lusting over her (even if it was really Joe Estevez-Taker), was pretty sick. The movie was such a shameless vanity project. -

BTW --- I thought Mike was VICIOUSLY hilarious in this movie. -=Mike Oh yeah, it's considering a classic ep because of the sheer goofiness of the film. Sadly, I don't have it, neither do I have a few other classic eps suchs as Hobgoblins and the Undead. Eventually I'll get them, but mostly I'm getting the older stuff now. Although if you could provide me with some good copies of some of the Sci Fi ones I'm lacking, I'd be glad to trade ya a few of mine. "A wharwilf!?" -

Wood had to have more movies somewhere to rip on. And I can only imagine what they'd do to Hulk Hogan vehicles. -=Mike Bride and the Beast, Jail Bait, Night of the Ghouls, and a few others might have worked, but Wood had a LOT of soft-core porn-ish movies that wouldn't really be appropriate for the show. According to IMDB, he contributed to The Unearthly as a writer (apparently uncredited), which they also did. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000248/ I don't know all of them that would be appropriate for the show, but there certainly are quite a few they could have done. However, the Wood shows generally didn't go as smoothly as you'd expect, so the results were mixed. EDIT: he also did some hardcore porn movies, too. Wouldn't be appropriate, for certain. -

Soultaker had Joe in it as the...soultaker guy, but he also was in Werewolf. They actually did a few Ed Wood pictures: Bride of the Monster and the Sinister Urge were directed by Wood (and wrote/produced), and Wood wrote The Violent Years. Plan 9 would be way too easy, so they never did it. Glen or Glenda? might have been a good one to try, though. -
http://www.wwe.com/ The hell?!

Thanks, but at least I could manually scroll that text easily. Although the second disc really drags the game down, at least we could probably agree it smokes Xenosaga.
-
From what I remember, yeah. It looked rather legit, but his hair was peeking out form underneatht he back of it.
-
You can probably consider that unofficially struck from canon, since Capcom never talks about it and it was a pretty bad game with no real connection to the rest of the series.
-
Actually, from that site, we're both wrong. Then again, I never really liked Alpha 3's f'ed up sci-fi approach to the story, but it is supposed to be canon. So apparently, they gave her that birthplace since she doesn't have a real one, or at least none that Capcom decided upon. ...rather amusing. Poison's bio also clears up a confusion I had before--she/he had a sex change.
-
Cammy's always been from England, and that's her canon place of birth. I don't know what you're talking about unless it's something in that boneheaded U.S. SF movie or movie game.

Shockingly, the guy with the manwhore as his avatar captures my feelings for Orton quite well. Okay, now what you've beat the hell out of Foley and bumped like a freak, show me you can wrestle. Admittedly, his promo post-WM didn't suck complete ass, but I wouldn't go as far to call it "good." It was competent, at least. I really hate Sylvan Grenier still, but if he gets a singles push...

Not counting the KTMA eps (which have very little riffing) or some of the season one eps, the worst episodes are generally regarded as Quest of the Delta Knights, Hamlet, Bloodlust, and Hellcats. I pretty much agree on all of those choices, as well. Staggeringly, 3 of those got home releases. Props to them trying something different with Hamlet, but I don't think the result was worth putting on a DVD set, when there are better choices available. -
"I guess I've been waiting to see a dude throw a glass of wine in a woman's face for once. Haha." Unfortunately, Dupree oversold that slap like all hell. Dupree should not have BUDGED from it. [AndrewTS mode]Of course she will. Who HASN'T Torrie fallen for?[/AndrewTS mode off] Falling for Cena is more likely, since Torrie has been a face forever, and as bad as she is as a face, she'd be EVEN WORSE as a heel. "Anyway, back to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - it makes more sense." The classic version, I hope.
-
The first one is very cool. It's kinda like a mix of beat 'em up and platformer, but the slow-mo/hyper mode aspects add a unique twist to gameplay. The visual style is perhaps its most touted feature. I like it, but that alone isn't really a big deal to me. It's an odd and charming combination of old-school and new-school. It can get rather challenging, and I absolutely suck at getting decent Viewtiful ratings, but it's a very fun game. However, the lack of passwords/save feature could be a turn off for some. Most people I've heard have played it really liked it, with a few minor exceptions.
-
Very, very interesting. I assume no saving/passwords like the last game, since nothing was mentioned here about it.
-
Extremely lame. Why would they change it? Both guys are gone from the company now.

"GHEE-GHER?" A friend of mine who is quite the Geiger-holic always pronounced it "Guy-ger" (although he doesn't fit your stereotype) You know, for some one who takes quite the number of cheap shots at those 34 year old virgins, you seem to have quite a store of knowledge about this stuff, DEAN. Torrie's performance truly was abysmal, and even with plenty of time the little squirrel on a treadmill inside her brain seemed unable to get things moving, and Rene doing a decent job of saving that segment is truly commendable. Apparently being a 20 year old OVW guy with POTENTIAL gets rewarded by an opportunity to cop a feel on the talentless blonde Playboy bimbo. However, this will probably lead to Cena getting his turn with Torrie, and will probably be the closest thing you'll see to Torrie getting near a black cock. Don't you hate stuck up porn bitches that are like that? Torrie has never screwed a brotha*! Smackdown needs the sweaty, Geiger-esque Mark Henry to come back, double-team Torrie with Theodore "I live up to my fucking name, playa" Long, and Mark can shove his black-as-tar ovipositor into Torrie's various orifices. Either that, or Booker can make her his personal sucka. *No, Maven does NOT count.

I'm pretty sure they're stretching that out and putting it on a seperate DVD. There's no mention of it on this disc. Blah--there was talk of it being on there as part of the WMXX DVD, but if they aren't including it, what's going to make it worthy of a purchase on its own? Matches/segments from the vault? Okay, you don't know, just rambling.
