Sometimes great minds think alike. ...though now it has me thinking...when The Rock returns...will he be acting like Mitchell? Baby oil sex scene with Sable? -

Naw, production values are too high. Although they can switch to a camera that doesn't record sound, have some one with ADD film it, and have Mordecai debut next week with a bulbous-kneed Zach Gowen made to look like the Unabomber and walk with a staff. Then Torrie and Sable roll around in sand in nightgowns and they can finally hint at pedophilia. Dub it all with about two people, and voila. Smackdown: The Hands of Fate Most horrifying of all, when Gowen walks--Stacy's song off WWE Originals plays. -

Actually, it is smart. See, once Show's off camera he can teleport anywhere he wants to. So just keep him in sight and she's fine. -

She even tripped and fell!! This is actually a good role for Torrie. They should have her get murdered every episode of SD, then she's back the next week, a la Pepper.* *Not the dog--inside joke only ChrisMWaters will get. BWAHAHHA! "SERIOUS VOICES" now! -
Stacy's backside is much larger in proportion to her body type when filmed at the "right" angles. It's just like how they shoot guys like Batista to make his arms look even more freakish. However, her magazine pics show her but to be about right. Her legs still look veeery long, and she seems to have big feet. I like small breasts anyway, so I would be rather disappointed if she got implants. I see nothing wrong with them currently. However, the ditzy, snotty attitude she adopts as a heel make me prefer her as one. "The Duchess of Dudleyville" was when I found her most tolerable/entertaining in WWE. I dig her with the glasses a la Ms. Hancock.

"But what if a game faced something like Zelda: A link to the past in the first round and another game faced War Gods. Why don't you just throw the ties back in the tourny if you can't find someone to break them? " Good idea. ^^

This will go over like the "revamped" XFL, I imagine. It will get a few more sales probably, but probably the same round of indifference the original got.

Yes, since Deus is the corner stone of the Xenogears storyline. Yeah, but Xenogears sucks a wang, so Magus should win. Lassic/Lashiec – Phantasy Star 1, 4 Death – Castlevania (Series) Luc - Suikoden 3 Ganondorf -- Legend of Zelda (Series) Yuber - Suikoden (Series) Piastol - Skies of Arcadia: Legends Zeromus – Final Fantasy 4 Rufus Shinra – Final Fantasy 7 Luca Blight - Suikoden 2 Ultros - Final Fantasy 6 Zoma - Dragon Warrior 3 Loki - Valkyrie Profile Hargon - Dragon Warrior 2 Ramirez - Skies of Arcadia Barbarosa – Suikoden Kain – Final Fantasy 4 Queen Zeal - Chrono Trigger Sydney - Vagrant Story Sin – Final Fantasy 10 Master Belch – Earthbound Altima - Final Fantasy Tactics Seymour- Final Fantasy 10 Azala - Chrono Trigger Galcian - Skies of Arcadia Ozzie - Chrono Trigger Wendy – Suikoden Gilgamesh - Final Fantasy 5 Ghaleon - Lunar (Series) Magus - Chrono Trigger Scalding Coffee Cup – Earthbound Leo - Lunar 2 Golbez – Final Fantasy 4

What, praytell, will happen in the event of a tie?

Agreed. I still need to vote in the current rounds, since they went up a little late and I have been majorly busy this week. Besides, it'll be better after FFVII has taken the whole GameFAQs tournament. As for the beefs about the GameFAQs one...okay, something like Sonic over Shining Force is expected. Or Super Metroid over Shining Force. Persons who know what the games are about may be torn, however the votes are given only to the most popular titles, so the whole premise is flawed because game quality isn't the primary factor. However, something like Super Mario RPG vs. SFII...they're not even in the same league, and game itself isn't extraordinarily popular, but it was a Square game that licensed popular Mario characters, and didn't completely suck, so it some how gets way more votes. That's unexpected. Doing a tournament here would be fine, but there are still going to be games winning just because they're more popular, not necessarily better. River City Ransom deserved more votes, for instance.

Yeah, Ultimo worked too "airy," was not anywhere near his prime, and was sloppy/clumsy at times. However, they wouldn't have signed him if they'd have had any clue how he wrestled in the first place and what kind of condition he was currently in.

Of course, you like Square. So you aren't like myself and others who find Square to be perhaps the most overrated game developer around (maybe behind Electronic Arts), and hence find the blatant Square love annoying. Square has so many hits and is extremely popular despite a dearth of new good games, innovative ideas, or even decent gameplay. You said you'd vote VII over just about anything. That has to be a joke. It can't be the gameplay, story, characters, or overall polish and quality. I didn't say you specifically, but it is the only explanation for why Square continues to shovel absolute crap out there and people eat it up. So, what's so great about a movie with a kid with lousy taste in games? Square can take a crack at any genre and put out a ridiculously mediocre, or flat out terrible product, and people like it because they dig crappy movie games and the same rehashed Square character designs--I think that is what his point was, anyway. Doom was good, and was influential in the sense that it popularized a genre, inspiring tons of good games. Night Trap sucked, and was only notable for the violence, and was a style of "game" that should have never been created in the first place. MK was influential in the sense that tons of really bad knockoffs came about, none of them actually any good. In and of itself, MK wasn't a very good fighting game, either. SFII influenced a lot of fighting games, far more than MK, and a lot of them were actually good as well. I'm not going to take a wishy-washy approach to it. Pretty much any rational person would come to the same conclusion. If some one says "Final Fantasy VII is better than Chrono Trigger" I still think they're wrong, but if they have some good reasons--probably just gameplay preferences, I can buy it. If they say "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is better than Chrono Trigger," I'm going to think they're full of crap. There was nothing in SMRPG that hadn't been done before, it was ridiculously easy, and ultimately the appeal had more to do with the Mario premise and world than it had to do with the game itself. Also, yes, there was a great deal of charm to it kind of like Earthbound, but that game had other elements that set it apart from the typical 16-bit RPGs. I liked Super Mario RPG, so I think I'm a little more qualified to comment on it than you. I still see nothing to substantiate it being greater than SFII. It is outlandish. It's supposed to be "best game ever" not a "popularity contest," and that's been mentioned already. If you don't care though, why are you even posting about this? Of course...

Mortal Kombat on Sega Genesis is the best video game ever. ...according to Spike TV, probably.

It wasn't Super Mario Bros. 3 vs. SFII. It wasn't Super Mario 64 vs. SFII. It was Super Mario RPG vs. SFII. SFII is influential AND one of the best ever. That's just another reason for it. If Mario Bros. (not SMB, but just MB) beat out SFII, I'd be just as annoyed. Strip away the Mario characters and SMRPG is just a brief, quite entertaining, but ultimately not-that-great a game. Since many early (and many current) RPGs are usually so simple in gameplay aspects and often so cliched and unoriginal, they're a hell of a lot easier to rate against others since they're so formulatic and cut-and-dried. Gameplay was good but nothing too original. Character development was taken for granted since most of them were familiar. The story was nothing special or unique. It gets obvious props for graphics and personality, though. However, better than SFII? Get real. ...no further questions. Donkey Kong had better be in this contest.

WWE thinks that's what Torrie's persona is. Meanwhile, usually when they've both been around Stacy's been that heel flat-chested Jezebel jealous of Torrie's tatas.

Yes, there is. Yes. I don't actually live there, but that's the mailing address. I'm much close to a place called Uniontown. They like their unions, but it was named before there were such things. ...George C. Marshall was from here! PA also has towns such as: Arnold, Keisterville, Mars, California, Freedom, Industry, Glasgow, Ohioville, Hopwood, Little Hope, McVeytown, several towns called "_____ Furnace" and of course East and West Springfield. Every state's gotta have their Springfield(s). I didn't see much wrong with the reaction. That whole turn was kind of unavoidably rushed due to the circumstances. Besides, they had sat through Brothers of Destruction vs. Kronik by that point already. Cut them some damn slack. Agreed on that much. So if he beats Ric Flair...big, fat, hairy deal. While Flair's not a jobber and still carries credibility with him, whenever some one beats him it never means much and is never treated as such. Oh, Jericho acted like it was a big deal when he won, but that's about it. It looks like they want to do something with Benjamin, but haven't figured out exactly what, yet.

Super Mario RPG is a fun, if childish, extremely easy RPG with little/no real importance other than being "that game Paper Mario wanted to be." Street Fighter II is only one of the most influential video games ever made and created a genre that still thrives today, and still has more gameplay than your typical braindead cinemaventure. Yeah, those matchups are SO similar a comparison to SFII vs. Super Mario RPG. I'd probably vote the same way even in those cases. I could see Doom getting it over Earthbound too, because of how influential and loved that game is. However, a game with so little importance that wasn't really *that* great and takes about a 10th of the time to finish as a typical RPG doesn't deserve the nod, hell no. If you think so, I brand you an extremely biased fanboy/girl/person. The voting seemed to have more to do with *Mario*, *RPG*, and the Square logo on the box than the actual game's quality. The same goes for FFVII, a game that looks utterly shitastic today, and was itself a rehash of the earlier games, added nothing to the gameplay, and looks laughable today, stacking up against some of the better RPGs out there. The setting was way different from typical fantasy RPGs of the era, many of the traditional RPG play mechanics were given twists upon (ATM machine! I needed that...), and the game is so freakin' bizaare and filled with personality that it's unforgettable. How many RPGs out there have you capturing zombies with special flypaper, traveling to a surrealistic alternate dimension, or battling a cult of people who paint everything blue? The basic gameplay isn't anything special, but the game is so insane it's hard not to like.

I'm the asshole? Hey, it wasn't *my* idea to have her sing for a dance track that even the finest in studio recording technology couldn't save. I'm also reminded of her witty "j00 have a tiny penis" comment to Jericho. Don't take the asshole line personal, it's just a better tag line than just saying "Thanks". But the song is just HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! So horrible it made the baby devil cry. No offense taken, just want to make sure the blame is properly placed. Indeed. It was so bad they couldn't actually find a portion of the song that was listenable for 3 whole seconds on the commercial. And the full thing--YEE GODS!! In video games? And yeah, it was slightly better. Despite all this, she's STILL better than Torrie. Hmm--where's JHawk to comment in this thread?

Rick Rude's gimmick was retooled for Val, and DiBiase's was retooled for Tiger Ali Singh. One wasn't as successful, the other was a disaster. Some one mentioned that Scott Hall's persona could be reworked into a great persona. Sean O'Haire's gimmick would be good for someone who didn't suck at it. Someone recalled that so far Eugene was displaying Norman the Lunatic tendencies--which, while silly, got over. What about '94?

Yes. And...uh...she's never gotten anyone over. Test. *bzt* ...what? Before Test, she was with David Flair.... According to Mick, being with Test could be out of pity. Plus, maybe Test is packin'. Maybe David Flair was pity--or it could have been for job security. Come on, it CAN'T be worse than her singing.

What's wrong with PITTSBURGH? The last two shows we got were the pre-Mania XIX SD and a non-eventful Raw. I thought the crowd was excellent for SD and rather good for the Raw.

Hello? That's not even a country. They should at least announce her as being from South Korea. WWE writer: Um...she was from there back when it was just Korea.
