"If a movie makes $100+ million then it should have a sequel." Hulk lost a hell of a lot of money and fell short of expectations. Studios try to set realistic goals so if it falls short they're not going to usually bother with another one. I had no idea Hulk 2 was being considered even. Source on that Kahran? I like Ang Lee, but Hulk was not very good. I'm not complaining about the pacing and setup--those were not the problems.

n64 controller pack question
AndrewTS replied to Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye's topic in Video Games
It's likely there are some glitch-free cartridges floating out there, but if you got one, you have to be extra-careful what you do. 1. Don't retry matches. Reset or "Quit" from the pause screen and continue from there. 2. Save every few matches or so if you need to, but saving after every match is risky. I don't know if there are other ways the glitch is triggered, but I think doing the trick to go out into the crowd can cause it as well. So...basically do what originally told you to Initialize the game and start over. Yeah, it sucks, which is why I really wish AKI made a follow to the game without that problem. =/ -
I've tried. No luck.

This thread needs some Bookerdust. Yum, yum.

A friend showed me a really weird cover of a manga magazine with Hall on it--looking like he was in his AWA days, but even weirder. If I don't add it here, you might see it on Wrestlecrap's mailbag page. This reaction is "dull surprise!" Torrie pretends this doesn't excite her. Either that or she's preparing to film an antacid commercial. Why is Trish in the shower with her doppleganger? .... Well, Steph living out a buffybeast fantasy. Wow, X-Pac's even uglier without makeup.

Anyone have a picture of Austin's creepy grin? For now though, here's another one:

"Performer" works. Plus it's a synonym for "prostitute," which works well in a lot of those cases. Since Evolution have remained injury-free, I think Papa Shango or some one is redirecting the curse onto other members of the roster. You know, kinda like in "Thinner?"

"I refuse to watch Heat because Coach & Al are probably the worst announce team I have witness in the business today..........they are even worse then Watanbe & Gellar of FMW videos. " Ooooh, they're pretty bad, but I disagree. Coach and Al realize nobody in the office is watching Heat, so they're just goofing around. I have no problem with tonight's commentating. It beats hearing JR's cliches and that little asshole Cole saying geeky stuff like "Smack your TV!" all the time.
-
"Resilient" = "this guy will soon be no-selling the entire match" "got a lot of heart" = "this little guy is being pushed because he knows who to blow."
-
I object to the misnomer of "talent" referring to Gayda or Torrie. Everything looks in order, but I don't think Foley and Rock are really Raw guys. Rock was until he left on his semi-retirement/movie career, and Foley just happened to come back on Raw. However, I don't think they're really supposed to be part of the official roster. Damn, there are number of 'em I haven't seen in a long time. Test, Ivory, Steiner, etc. Of course, Mack, Henry, Nowinski and so on are still out injured. It's "amateur." "Amature" makes it sound a bit more like what Mulatto Heat was hinting at.
-
Yeah, if you have to have your games brand new, go right ahead. However you can get a lot of good X-box games used--including that one, for a fin or two sometimes.
-
"explosions" = gunshots during the Pillman/Austin gun angle. "physical intensity" is actually the USA network sanctioned term for "violence." They do you "physicality" now and then, though. WWF couldn't say "violence" on USA. How stupid, especially seeing what they DID allow during the Russo days. Although I guess JR is so far into the habit he'll never say "violence" anymore. "Personal demons" is an classic as well.
-
That didn't stop them from going through with HHH-Steiner and Nash-HHH, so I'd imagine not.

You saved between matches? Then it should be there. The glitch is strange. It won't screw up your progress in Championship mode by all visible appearances, but the game will reset the champions to the defaults, and the roster will be defaulted: the hiddens you unlocked will be gone, and all the CAWs and appearance edits will be gone. You also lose all your money. However, it will still show in Championship that you've completed so much % of the game. The last copy of the game I had was glitch-free as long as I didn't save excessively or retry (if you lose, Reset or Quit). -
I want one!
-
Not that I care, but they said "a...Maria." Not the GTA3 Maria. It might be just like the Cid situation.

*Stolen from Quik's sig, but bears repeating* "Brian Gewirtz wrote for "Jenny". Yeah, that was partially his fault. So why does he have a job writing for a wrestling company when he couldn't handle writing a fucking sitcom?" Well, the (s)hits just keep on comin'. Anyone remember when Sid had a...well, I don't know if you'd call him a manager, but basically he'd bring a retarded dude out with him during his matches. I think it was in 2000 in WCW.
-
I'd skip the live Raw if they showed repeats every week. The only reason I watch Raw is it *might* be good, but I could read recaps and find out if it was crap or not if it was repeated. So, it would be good for me, bad for WWE *maybe*.

When was it anyways? Obviously during the Angle/Austin feud, but what month The night after Summerslam, so August. Slam was also the PPV just before Unforgiven, which followed 9-11....
-
Yeah, the Austin Appreciation Night was so bad it was great. Also, pretty much every PPV in 2001 was awesome. Rumble, NWO, WM, Backlash, Summerslam, No Mercy--all great shows. JD and Unforgiven was okay--but while not that good it wasn't terrible like a lot of PPVs we see these days. Kronik/BoD was comedy, though. King of the Ring sucked, but that's the way it usually is. I have absolutely no desire to see SurSer2001, though. The horribleness of the typical weekly show really hurt the WWF, though.
-
Sounds like Wendi Richter, and that would be the 80's.
-
Jesus would be so proud. Lord knows why. Hogan and Piper with build would have added buys? For fuck's sake they mocked WCW for this same fucking match almost 6 years ago. Rise and Fall of ECW--oh, this should be good. Yay on the two releases.

When you're at the No Mercy title screen, hold Z (it's on the underside of the controller, under the analog stick) and press Start. You can either delete anything on the controller pack, or initialize the game cartridge data. I hope yours doesn't have the glitch. I got one used and got hit by the glitch hard, even though I rarely saved during Championship mode. =/ I think it hits you if you "retry" a few times. Damn glitch. -
Would this be her?
