Acting = cameo roles in cable sitcoms as "date of lead character for this episode" or "table dancer in direct-to-video flick." Stacy acting is funny, this is just sad. Everyone who is shocked that they'd come up with that, raise your hand. I'm willing to bet that a lesbian storyline probably is proposed at least every month or so.

Midway made it, but I think Nintendo may own rights to it...not really classic though, is it? You've gotta be kidding me. That game sucked. Plus Aerosmith probably wouldn't want that game resurfacing again. Great game, but widely available as a PS1 title. However, if they made it look as good as the arcade game I wouldn't mind it being included. Plus, it probably isn't legal to have all of the original characters in the game--Bret Hart, Bam Bam, Luger, Razor aren't in WWE (and the last two are drug fiends worried more about the law these days), and Yoko's no longer with us. I guess it doesn't hurt for an anthology disc to include a comedy game.

One that isn't really too bad, but kind irked me: The U.S. box art for Capcom vs. SNK. The Japanese box art for the game is the same as seen in a lot of ads: Kyo and Ryu both punching each other at the same time close up. It was replaced with the current box art: On the upside, Kyo is replaced with Terry. As much as SNK tries to push Kyo down people's throats, Terry is much more popular. I can kinda see the point, since at least Kyo is unique to KoF while Terry is Mr. Fatal Fury, despite those games starting the King of Fighters tournament. However, it's called Capcom vs. SNK, not Street Fighter vs. King of Fighters, so their most popular fighting game characters should be on the cover. Anyway, despite that upside, couple of problems here. First off, the art work is vastly inferior to the Japanese version, despite being adequate. Secondly, unlike the Japanese box art, which put both sides on equal standing, Capcom's presence is made dominant on this one: Ryu's profile is up front, nearly big as life. However, Terry is waaay in the back, behind Ryu. Also, Ryu is drawn in his Alpha-style, but his sprite is ripped from SF3. Bah. So it's only average, but Renegade probably would call it crap.

*Ahem* Bischoff? Although I'd imagine if I were Linda, I don't think Bisch would be my first choice. Or 10th choice. Or 30th choice, etc.

well, I checked the arcade games Midway made on Gamefaqs--except for the ones I'm not familiar with, I don't see too many other "classics." BioF.R.E.A.K.S. and War Gods, for instance.

Bushido Blade--PS1. That game rocks. Pretend the second game doesn't exist.

I was up and my EB and picked up Operation C(ontra) and Link's Awakening DX... And found out they have the PAL Dreamcast version of Shenmue II available, and they can hook me up with a disc to play it just fine. However, I've heard mixed feelings about it. I didn't like the first game too much because of how slow things moved. The pace really kept me from enjoying the game, and the constant, annoying detective work turned me off. So, to any owners of the game, either this version of the X-Box version, how have things changed, if any? Would you recommend it to me?

I also noticed Tajiri's bio: Hm--maybe they're still exaggerating, but maybe not as blatantly. Regardless, Kidman sure as hell isn't near-230. I remember Show looking way smaller in the ring in WCW than in WWE (yes, I know he put on weight, but before he left WCW), and on a WCW PPV I was watching the ring looked huge. Of course, I haven't any idea if they changed it during the Russo era, but I think they were larger in 97-98. Exactly, and people get sick of the same ones very easily, anyway.

That's why I think it's average. However, it's not bad. THIS is bad: EDIT: it's even worse close up, because Chun-Li looks like a white-trash wife that's been beat the crap out of.

They've already aired a show reviewing it. They give it 3/5, had an interview with Jet Li and a "making of" segment.

Is it really all that bad? I think Rush's expression is a bit iffy and the background is a little plain, but that doesn't really make it bad, just average:

I didn't see Sable doing it, but Torrie did...over and over and over again, like she was trying to make sure everyone saw her doing it. Although desperately seeking attention goes hand-in-hand with her "character," and I'd imagine isn't too far off the mark from what she's really like.

You believe that?! Hate to break it to ya, but know those stats on the WWE webpage? Most of them are lies. Kidman's actually more around 5'10" 185 pounds. WCW at least billed him as that and I haven't noticed any significant change in size since then. WCW didn't bother to jack up the stats of their cruisers. Similarly, Tajiri was around the 180 pound range in ECW (according to them) before jumping to WWE. I don't think he gained 30-40 pounds.
