I find it hard to believe WWE would put Brock and Batista on the same show. Then you have the rest of Evolution hanging around,and would effectively be broken apart. I don't expect Evolution to break up until Randy pulls his Rocky-style usurping of Evolution. Plus, HHH is still the Raw champion, so I wouldn't count on it. Why would the two champs just switch shows like that almost simultaneously? Benoit going to Raw wouldn't make sense, but it isn't as bad as this scenario.

Cat's probably the only WWE person I hate more than Torrie. He's even more useless than her, and that's pretty sad. Can't wrestle, any good mic ability he allegedly had went bye-bye, he's the worst commentator WWE has, and he has only one skill: dancing. However, before we do that we have to blatantly rip off James Brown. Pitiful.

The PS2/PSX versions are either poorly translated or inferior in some other ways. Soul Calibur 1 plays better IMO than SCII, and Virtual On Marz doesn't compare to Oratorio Tangram. Also, fighters for DC left out of the list: Vampire Chronicles Project Justice--which Sakura mentioned. Psychic Force 2021 Power Stone 1 and 2 Dead or Alive 2 (Hardcore on PS2 is another half-ass port) Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram Guilty Gear X (yeah, its on PS2 and a good port, but it's still a DC fighter)

At least they had an excuse for MST3K (movie rights), but otherwise it seems all the good shows get cancelled. Also, I wouldn't want to see this again. MadTV is not funny and that ep only led to a horrible angle that probably had Vince laughing has ass off and saying "I told you so!" Not if you heard it in mid-2000, though.

Okay, that I remember somewhat. I seem to recall Snow doing a piledriver on Head and having a midget interfere in that match. Pretty sure most of that stuff was on Heat, too.

I think they'll give Spike a half-hearted push, maybe eliminating Morgan quickly, so not Spike but maybe Morgan. Otherwise, I'd say Paul London if he is in, Shannon Moore, or Richards.

Interesting feature on Nintendo's many oddball peripherals. 64DD Pity the poor 64DD -- it was probably doomed from the moment of conception. Touted from before the N64's launch as a perfect, inexpensive expansion system for the company's 64-bit console, the 64DD lagged about in development limbo until it was finally canned for U.S. release. The add-on did see life in Japan, presumably as a desperate bid by the company to recoup at least a portion of its development costs, but it did so in a terribly limited capacity. A mere handful of titles were released for it, one of which was just an add-on for F-Zero X. The only worthwhile games -- Animal Forest (aka Animal Crossing) and Doujin the Giant -- were remade for the GameCube. In theory, the 64DD could have been great. Based on technology similar to Iomega's Zip Drive (though hopefully less susceptible to the Click of Death), the 64DD would have offered an affordable and completely rewritable alternative to the console's expensive silicon carts. Some of the promised software, particularly the ambitious Mother 64, promised amazing potential for innovation and play depth. But the price of cartridges came down, ROM sizes grew (Ogre Battle 64 featured twice the 64DD's capacity), and the N64 foundered at retail. Of all of these wacky Nintendo inventions, this is the one that really deserved better. A moment of silence.

That's funny, I don't know where "Brock Lesnar vs. Hardcore Holly" could involve Flair. The WC book also disappointed me. I read it in a day, sold it, and don't regret it. Although, yeah, the actual buildup to the Rumble sucks but the show should be good. I wonder if this will be another 2001 for WWE--absolutely terrible TV shows, but fantastic PPVs. ....well, probably not with all those Raw PPVs scheduled.
