That would be fine and good...except for that glaring "add on" part. I've already stated why an add on, especially for an unpopular console, was a poor idea from Nintendo, regardless of their other aims. Unfortunately, those titles never came out, and Nintendo jumped the gun, unable to see the rise of the DVD format. Not Nintendo's fault, I admit. The RAM pak didn't produce any "must-have" games and the GameBoy connectivity is no big deal. As Sakura said, at least the 32X had some good games. I repeat: add-on, add-on, add-on--for the N64. Did they plan this out so far ahead that by the time it was known the N64 was a failure it was too late? Because it used a medium that was percieved to be outdated and inferior--everyone jumped onto the DVD bandwagon. Until the PS2 was right around the corner, the Dreamcast was selling great and had awesome titles--on both sides of the Pacific. I think Nintendo would have learned that when you released two failed add-ons, and then botch a stand-alone console, that people are going to be a little reluctant to support a new console from that company after that. Yet Nintendo didn't know this when they released the 64DD in Japan only? No, they gave up on it before it actually became viable. Show me where I said that the lack of online support was the sole reason the Gamecube was doing so poorly before. I also referred to the choice in medium and lack of DVD player as well, and neglected the other things because it wasn't related to the discussion. It was one of several reasons, however. Online gaming is growing and Nintendo's going to be left behind a bit. When the 64DD apparently came out, nobody cared about the N64 and I don't recall any coverage of its existence in magazines anywhere. Also, if you can't support what should be your most major console in all your major markets, then you're going to have a problem. The Famicom Disc system (which most people here haven't even heard of except for those up on our Castlevania trivia) wasn't too bad since it wasn't supposed to be so much a brand new system as something to expand the NES' capabilities. However, lets assume that the 64DD somehow succeeded in Japan on the strength of its games alone. Nintendo would then be pressured to release high profile titles on it...which they WOULD NOT be able to release stateside. Aside from that, they would still be supporting the Game Boy Color. At this SAME TIME they were working on the Virtual Boy, which managed to be worse than the N64 and 64DD by leaps and bounds. So, Nintendo was planning to support the 64DD and N64 in Japan, the N64 in the USA. Nintendo would have to have plenty of fresh high-profile titles on at least the American N64 to keep it afloat, so Nintendo would have to support two major consoles at once. PLUS they would have to support the Virtual Boy in two different regions if it had succeeded enough to warrant support. In the meantime, the Game Boy Color was still around and still making them money. You were basically telling me that it wouldn't have mattered in the grand scheme of things if one country welcomed the 64DD while another didn't. I call bullshit, because that would mean that they'd have to simultaneously support both, while dealing with their portables (if you can call the VB that). That would be spreading themselves too thin. N64, 64DD, VB--all in the span of a few years. If you don't think there were some major, forseeable mistakes made there, I don't know what to say. However, you ignored my question of: did Nintendo not do any marketing research ahead of time to see what they should do before jumping the gun? I honestly can't picture the Virtual Boy ever getting the rubber stamp after a careful test marking campaign. Actually, WWF/E had done waaaay stupider things. However, unlike the launch of the Gamecube with Luigi, at least WWE hasn't hired Brutus Beefcake back to headline a Pay Per View.

Same here. I dislike Sharpton heavily. He's not quite in Hillary territory, but still... Ditto. It makes no sense to me. How could I get those results despite being a conservative Republican?

Probably since the roster got big enough to have it that way.... Well, it didn't happen in 2003, sure, and I don't know about 2002, but up until then wrestlers would do double-duty all the time. -

Since when have wrestlers that have matches that night been forbidden to take part in the Rumble? Anyone can be in the Rumble except for the WWE Champion and (presumably) Raw World Champion and their challengers. -
First off, Bruno's still in his late 60s (I think) and supposedly in fantastic shape for a man his age. Secondly, for Bruno Sammartino to ever be in the same room as Vince McMahon ever again would require not only hell freezing over, but also for Mars to have humanoid life on it, the Cleveland Browns getting an offensive line, and Stacy Keibler having my baby. Maybe Bret and Bruno take turns stretching and beating the shit out of Vince? Although you're probably right. Cleveland Browns...offensive line...BWAHAH! By the way, if Hogan did show up for Mania, it would be a) for a match b) for a lot of money c) against a main eventer.

That would make sense, and if you reveal later that Kurt was manipulating the Guerreros and there was a good reason for it, fine. If not...eh, I'd say AS has a good point, but might be jumping the gun now. However, the fans shouldn't have to supply reasons for a storyline happening if there isn't any. -
That would rule. I don't like it if Victoria would just be a valet, but as long as she still wrestles its a cool idea. I like Stevie, and since he won't be getting a singles push, this would be a good way to use him. Ugh, Grenier sucks. Wait until he gets back, send him to OVW (like that ever helped many people) and give him one more chance to prove he isn't worthless. If he's still worthless, fire him already. Of course, a lot of these ideas are good, and they would be excellent if used and if WWE would stress the importance of tag teaming chemistry. A tag team should be greater than the sum of its parts. If two top stars with no tag experience face a top tag team with years of experience, realistically the tag team SHOULD win. That's something I disliked about some of the "Superteams" we got once in a while, like the Power Trip and Rock n' Sock (although Rock and Foley did have great chemistry together on the mic and worked well together in the ring). Also, while fun to watch, TLC matches shouldn't have been for the tag team titles, since they...you know...didn't involve any tag teaming.

WRONG! There's no logical purpose for Angle to be anywhere near this, so automatically all the segments have no purpose. What should they be doing with Angle, though? Feuding him with HBK in a feud like the Jericho feud last year. That would be great, BUT you do realize that HBK would go over, thanks to the backstage politics on Raw with him and HHHis buddy, right? And, Angle most likely would be made to look inferior in the process, due to those politics. Angle could do that feud since he can't do the one with Bret. Fun fact: Angle's the only current SD main event guy that has started on and stayed on the SD brand since the split. I think. Eh, I had this hot teacher in college for Calc just 2 years ago. She could have passed for mid-20s but she never told us her age. She looked like one the regular students. Had her during summer semester...she kinda had to dress for the weather since they had us in trailers till the new buildings were up. I got a C, damnit! Hard to concentrate... -

He's using his pecs to help the hearing impaired. That would have made Speech Classes a hell of a lot more exciting. What if Chyna was teaching them? Oh God. Thank god for Ms. Stephens... Nice boobs on her? -

Best of Billy Gunn... A reminder of how WWE made the gay interest groups look like cocks. Well, I've had enough of Smackdown for another month or so now. Well, actually it was the proposal. I guess we won't get to see the crashing of the "wedding" and Stephanie getting beat up to a pop. I think the timing of this just after the SotU is a bit convenient. -

true. Cena's been nothing but his mic skills. And those aren't even that great. He's done as much that can be done with this kind of gimmick. Gay, fag, homo, queer! LOL! Oh, he is an Eminem ripoff after all. True. Maybe even a bit of Vanilla Ice. Aside from "Word..." being in both catchphrases...what? I don't think Cena can dance. have you seen or heard about Vanilla Ice lately, he's gone thug, YO! Oh, the two minutes or so at the end of the Behind the Music special on him. -
