It's a shame that it seems you play mostly against All Japan guys, because I'm getting a little bored wrestling Vader, Ace, and Hansen every week. Oh, by the way, how can I tell that I have all the moves unlocked? It seems that I'm a little short on moves and all the WM2000 and Revenge moves are supposed to be in, correct? Would the Angle Slam happen to be in?
-
Would you care to elaborate? I really liked Suikoden 1, and I think it's a great game. I haven't played 2, though.
-
Count me in the minority that doesn't see the big deal.
-
And Mexicans, and the Japanese...
-
"I don't mean to the obsessive or the extreme. Like, for instance, you care about what happens to Yuna and the rest of Spira, so you rent/buy/play FFX-2. " But...I seriously don't care.
-
Yeah, there are far lower standards for matches featuring them than Rhyno or (especially) Benoit.
-
Nope, not yet. Currently playing on Normal. When I first played the game it was on the hardest difficulty, and Baba just massacred me. I had been out of practice. Although, even so, I avoid the hardest difficultly most of the time because of how counter-happy the CPU gets. Usually I got next-to-hardest once I'm "on."

Is this how Mr. America was signed?
-
Damnit, why didn't you mention this earlier? =/

Eh, it's cool. I got most of the important ones anyway. Thanks for the super special tip, though. Yeah, Misawa does the Frosion, Vader does the Jackhammer. A look at the move sets will usually tell ya if you know where to look. Misawa's regular special, BTW, is the Tiger Driver 91. The regular Tiger Driver is one of his strong grapples, but if you "steal" his special you get the Tiger Driver, not the TD91. Oh, I've been trying to fix up the looks, but a lot of the stuff is still hidden. I've seen methods to unlock the secret characters, but what about CAW parts? I unlocked Ultimo, but his top isn't available right now.

I'm surprised they would have the match go the full length with that happening. I'd expect them to cut it short, or make it an impromptu tag match. I haven't exactly seen the match in question, but opinions are varying wildly on it. Although maybe my belief that Orton and RVD both really suck is somewhat inaccurate. Still, if AS isn't exaggerating about the rest holds, maybe not. I don't really mind some rest holds in a 20 minute match though. It's matches that are 5 minutes and full of resting that I have a problem with. Oh, Happy Birthday, CanadianChick.
-
I thought this was interesting as well: Rob called the match?!
-
Great. Oh, have some more questions. I've heard about wrestlers having a second special from the front/back grapple--Vader's Jackhammer for instance (not to be confused with the stolen specials). How would I do this? Also, is there any way to make female CAWs in here? I'm a little disappointed that it appears you can't.

Diamond Dallas Page added to LOW:SHOWDOWN!
AndrewTS replied to Use Your Illusion's topic in Video Games
Since the new Smackdown, for all its ambitious ideas, fell on its face in regards to gameplay, I'm hoping so too. Still, it would kill me to give Acclaim money for anything. What about Yukes!/THQ's? HILLBILLY JIM!!?? -
Okay, cool. Although--correction--I meant All Japan. Its the All Japan guys who are correct. I did find some guide about it, but it's not exactly complete. BTW, I would think Vader would be taller than that. Taka wasn't too hard to fix up, although others like Lyger require a good bit of editing. Also, apparently some stuff is locked up still. The previous owner unlocked some of the hiddens, though, including the Revenge and WM2000 moves.
-
I said "screw it" and took a knife to the cartridge. It works. Now, anyone know where I can find a guide to make the people who aren't from NJPW the way they should? It's obvious the non-licensed wrestlers have been altered, likely for legal reasons (I guess they tightened up laws since VPW64).

This does not look promising. Well, at least it isn't all caps. Kidman doing nothing of note--not so bad. Paul London doing nothing--that sucks. Nobody is elevated, nobody goes anywhere, and probably this wasn't a very good match. So now large vehicles are jobbing to Bradshaw? Can't care less about this one. What? Rhyno's back, I guess. Is he still in the doghouse? More "blind Nidia" crap, I imagine. I knew it! Oh. I guess the writers are stealing from A Christmas Story now. I'm glad he explained the rules. I wouldn't have figured it out otherwise. How disappointing. I'd rather Rikishi have died instead. I wonder if they have a graphic ready for Scotty, and will they show it Monday or wait until next Smackdown? Wow, something good! I'll reserve judgment on this later. Why waste the time to find out which of Undertaker's bitches are going to enter the rumble when we know none of them have a chance in hell? This is your "core audience," WWE.

Much like Goldust, how the phuck can "creative" not figure out anything for Spanky to do? He's got charisma out the wazoo, crowd-popping moves to go with solid all-around wrestling skills, a good look, great seller, and never really got a solid program yet although there were dozens of great possiblities. Oh, right. He's little. He also dared to going back to his indy persona rather than starting fresh with a completely WWE-ized gimmick.

I'm not really sure. I could enjoy playing the old 16-bit games with friends even if they weren't really gamers. Even my sister could get into it. As for the current editions, I'm not sure. Well, an arcade-style game like Jam (/Street?) shouldn't be any problem to pick up and play. Yeah, then you both could button mash away. (likes Soul Calibur, but doesn't see the big friggin' deal people make over the games). Smart idea. HCTP's follow up could use a hell of a lot of "fine tuning." Well, I'm just pretend you mean fighting games in general... Although, I must confess it's demoralizing to play, say, MK and get completely destroyed by a female stranger, then have a fatality performed on you. In my defense, she was Asian. Take a look at the rankings charts for those fighting game tournaments--there's a large proportion of Asian dudes there.

Can't get a nice, simple question answered, can I? Do I need to get Gameshark Pro or a converter to get this working without messing up my cartridge or N64 or should it work with the v. 2.1 and I got a bad game cart? I tried cleaning it with cotton swabs and a dab of water on the swabs when it didn't work the first time. That shouldn't be a problem, right?

Mortal Kombat, Tekken, SF--or not. I take it you're not dating some one like Sakura? Puzzle games are a good bet. And If it wasn't PS2, I'd say Mario Kart because everyone loves that game. =/ Now, if you had a Cube, you could play the GBA game on the Game Boy Player...but unless you'd play other games it would be cheaper to track down the PS version. There's FFX-2 I suppose. That could very well be playable two player somehow (Final Fantasy VI was in battles), but I wouldn't know. Super Smash--damnit. If she has an even slight interest in sports, NBA Jam works because you can play coop with her, or you can play competitive. If she isn't very good, play competitive and put on the CPU Handicap. "And if you happen to be able to import any game get metal slug 3." If not, there's Metal Slug X. One of my favorite games eva.

NOOOO!! You're crazy, why look at that great angle with Booker T last ye...oh yeah. -
Isn't the Bearhug worse, though? He used a second rope splash before. That's a lot better.
