...no... Wait a sec... Storm and Cade in the same match--JR's head must have nearly exploded. He actually was able to keep them straight?! Huh? So...his title reign is dead and--what the hell does that even mean? Heheh, you're a funny man, Dames. Uh...you mean that wasn't a joke?! Does it seem like this is a one-time appearance for the Rock or is he actually back for another month and change? Not much feedback today because I had 3 finals to study for, Big D.

I think a strong military is important, don't get me wrong, but when your army, navy, air force, and marines are about ten times as powerful than any possible threat (okay, China has the edge in the army, but that's it) and you have nukes on top of that, I think you can afford to cut down. How about Washington, D.C.? The politicians don't dare send their children to the public schools there.

Agreed. I liked your Swedish example- are the Swedish REALLY in such danger of being attacked that they need our military presence there year-round? Not really. Maybe there's SOME good reason for it, but damned if I know what it is.

If you favor "conservative economics" where do you expect to get the money to fund all those expensive social welfare programs? Hell, given the choice, I think every politicial, left or right-leaning, would like to be able to say they're going to cut taxes or keep them the same rate. In practice though, you can't really do it. Although, personally what should be done is to use the money that is being spent more effectively. As it is, there's a lot of waste.

If the US doesn't get involved in a world conflict we're being evil, greedy, selfish isolationists that don't want to take the responsibility that comes with our great wealth and strength. If the US does get involved in a world vonflict we're being evil, greedy, selfish imperialists trying to use our wealth and strength to kill the innocent and colonize countries for our own gain. You can't win... Exactly. The only way to make the rest of the world (read: jealous Europeans) happy would be for America to cease to exist so they could get back to bitching about their high taxes, extremely ineffective state-sponsored health care, and high unemployment rates. I'm sure you'd love living in a nation more capitalist than the United States--unless you're not moving to Japan.

"Domestic economic concerns?" So would that or would that not include multi-national corporations who build factories and plants in places other than their countries of origin? Or tariffs on imports? If you're talking policies that affect us and us along (of which there are few), then I assume you mean the dilemma of higher taxes and more social welfare spending vs. lower taxes and less social welfare spending. Of course, that spills over into "social" policy as well. However, we weren't asking which type of economic policy matters more, but rather which type of policy among those three. I don't think that everyone but me gets it, I just think no one but me has considered the question as thoroughly. As for foreign policy, I'm assuming what you're getting at is "how much and how aggressively should the U.S. be involved in foreign conflicts." "It's not my fault if you don't know how to read." Que? I basically said what it was--leave it up to the U.N. If you're isolationalist, it's only that option aside from "do nothing" (the two are quite similar anyway). I don't see how you could really be an isolationalist. The U.S. is too powerful to be isolationalist anymore, especially since the world has shrunk as the U.S. has grown. We're the big fish, so we're expected to do something. If not, we'll be drawn into other conflicts anyway.

Don't you know! Bill Clinton is completely responsible for that big economic boom in the 90's! Kamui said so! As for me, Republican. If I had my way I'd cut spending on the military and a lot of its wasteful spending (why the hell do we have guys stationed in countries everywhere, like Sweden?! Learn to defend yourselves, pussies!), spend more on education in some of the more run-down cities but support vouchers. I'd be pro-choice to keep people happy, but if you have one I still think you're a filthy baby-killer. I'd increase overseas humanitarian aid, also, especially for Africa (although it seems like a lost cause). Probably in foreign relations, I'd be more isolationist when it came to military intervention, I'd try to improve overall relations with foreign countries that hate us now. Environmentally...well, I'd be for improving current conditions, try to make more money go to researching and developing alternate power sources (I'm not thrilled at the wishy-washy bowing and ass-kissing of big oil companies). Otherwise, I pretty much agree with Olympic Slam. In other words, Republican, but I take a look at the line-up of sad-ass candidates that look to be running in 2004, shake my head, and sigh. Any good candidates seem to be weeded out by the nomination process. You know, that ceremony that weeds us down to 4 actual candidates before voters even get a chance to vote? Yet, people try to call us a "democracy." PFFFT!! Morons.

Kamui's foreign policy: kiss Japan's ass with few/little/no major trade restrictions, and trust the U.N. to take care of any international conflicts, I'm assuming? Naw, stick with what you know. Anyway, social issues are extremely important to me--and are mostly opposite of Kamui's. They're not a priority. Right now, the economy is the problem we've got to deal with. However, I can't see how the hell you could say that foreign policy and economic policy are two separate things. They're VERY closely tied together because foreign policy affects international trade which has a huge effect on the economy.

From Gamespot: I would have expected that they'd have gotten permission for this beforehand. Guess not. Well, unless protection can be awarded for it being a parody, looks like they're gonna lose and we may even see Rockstar sue for Hit and Run, unless they paid royalties to use/replicate the GTA engine.

*Malfunction in Brain* Statement does not compute...Meltdown commencing.... I don't like McCain because of his views on censorship, but sadly he was the candidate I disliked the least. I'd rebut you on that cartman, but the fact that you made your screen name a South Park character (without even the proper capitalization) speaks volumes about you and renders it unnecessary. Kinda late on it, though. Still, you and I both know that those issues aren't what most of the voters care about. What voters care about is the economy, taxes, and avoiding war if at all possible. Nothing else matters to them, really. Plus, face it--if the economy's bad and you're the party in office, you get the blame, and you get ousted come election day. Most voters don't understand that economic policies often take years to show their results. I'm not saying that Bush's policies have helped, because I think they haven't. However, I don't foist the blame on him or the current administration because the economy has been in a decline and there's no rapid turnaround possible even with effective policies. The issue's far too complex. Because of the state of the economy, it's almost guaranteed to me that the next president will be a Democrat. Unless the economy drastically turns around ASAP, Bush is as good as out.

Uh, sure. Agreed. Agreed. You have a message from 2003 to your address in 1991. It reads "Newsflash: it has become so." It's become rather accepted in this day and age, especially with titles like Cowboy Bebop out. It's not just "cartoons" because Japan entertainment companies use animation as a medium for everything from comedy, to kids shows, to serious dramas, to sci-fi epics, to porn. In America, it's mostly used for comedy, or more serious but still-not-quite-adult style shows. Yup. If by "young" you mean "roughly our own age" why the hell so? YOU RACIST!~ Um, that is, I'm not "obsessed." Aw fuck, I'm ripping off Ripper now. I like a lot of their entertainment, but I dislike a lot of their culture. Although, I'd probably be considered more of a "casual" animer than Kamui. Do not call me an "otaku" though.

I believe a "bear" is the homosexual community's term for a hoss, incidentally.

You pretty much have to build up equally, since the game adjusts the Levels of the enemy parties to be comparable to yours.

I think Daffney's rather attractive from what you can tell (hasn't done a bikini shoot so who knows if she's covering up something). However, a good portion of her sex appeal comes from people imagining "if she screams that much in public..."
