Which is more or less what I was saying as soon as they debuted that commercial. That royally screwed up what was, up until that point, an awesome commercial. CG Torrie isn't much less fake than the real thing, but come on...if you have to fantasize about the sun-baked, brainless, big-boobed, blond, bootyless bitch, at least make it be the somewhat more realistic airbrushed semblance in Playboy. Or the 3 million equal/better looking gals in real porn. I like HCTP but that as a selling point pisses me off. Have you seen Trish in that game? She looks like some rare species of large-eyed, hairless primate.

I thought the story blew. The thing about Xenogears I liked was the battle system, what with the different moves you could do depending on the different button presses, and the mech battles added some variety. Dungeons were lousy, yeah. Poorly designed, ugly, and too many encounters.

Does that include the "put opponent in corner, and ram backside into person" move? Rikishi has that trademarked That's a different move. Big Show does that move of Andre's though.

Kurt isn't, has never been, and never will be good enough to make that worth watching. A-Train...(see above for Kurt). Well, Buffy will be happy at least. Screwing up ONE LETTER can make you sound like an idiot, folks. I wouldn't bet on it. Who cares? I expect BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH!! Considering that it's still 3 days away, I DON'T THINK WE'D KNOW TONIGHT!! I expect a Cruiser match or something to be added on Heat, then the wrestlers in it can have some of the blame heaped upon them for the shitty buyrate this will draw. Or...read a show report. Or ask one of your friends who still watches the show afterward. Or if you're familiar with what we do, take a wild guess and you might be right. How you sell storylines by jobbing and doing subtle things like showing intimidation, making your opponent look like a credible threat, not playing politics, giving back to the business and making new stars. Idiot.

Damn...uh, I just had to tell Foley that HHH fighting him was the best part of the entire Nash/HHH feud. Well, at least Foley on Raw would make it more watchable in the GOOD way. Damn me for forgetting to mention HHH should have learned a few things from Mick.

No, SFA3. I thought the SFIII games were a bit of a letdown, but still awesome. I loved Karin, World Tour mode, and the return of the old school characters...but that was it. Some one decided to make the game a bit more like 3D fighters, with the "counter hits" and two-button throws, didn't like that. Sure, there's X-Ism, but you only get one Super and miss out on a lot of play mechanics. The A.I. is a cheap bastard--and don't forget the Super Psycho Crusher of CPU Bison. The music sucked. The announcer sucked. There wasn't a truly great home version available. The import Saturn lacked a translation mode a la Vampire Savior, the PS version was good for PS but after playing Dreamcast I can't stand the loading times and choppy animation. The Dreamcast version was a half-assed port hampered by a controller not fit for Capcom fighters (which is why I don't have a home copy of any SFIII). The GBA version looks decent enough, but way too expensive for a game with compromised gameplay. Shenmue: I heard the sequel's good, but I don't own an X-Box and I said SHENMUE and not the sequel. Boring, slow, and little going for it besides the graphics. Yippee! Ask about sailors for x # of hours. Sounds like fun to me. I heard it gets better later, but I doubt it is worth it. Well, at least they have that arcade... Will Scarlet: Yeah, the PS2 SD games have been a bit of a letdown, but HCTP satisifies me quite well. BTW, a friend of mine made a CAW of a chick that looks like Fukakyon and plays kinda like a Hardy. Interested? Sakura: I saw the credits of Here Comes the Pain...you were a motion capture actress in that game! And you never told us!? Xenosaga: I can't call it too much of a letdown...because, I think some people may not have have heard this, but I hated Xenogears! Oh, a few more disappointments... SNK vs. Capcom Collectible Card game thing: the first SNK/Capcom crossover...and it's one of *those* types of games, on a system that hardly anyone owns. Thank goodness for MotW...yet finding a Dreamlink cable to connect to the DC is either hard or extremely expensive. Soul Calibur II: less polished gameplay, still lame endings. Well, it's a disappointment for me. Your results may vary.

Just started a new season. Wow, HHH not only doesn't job in the posedown, but then he bores me to death with a never ending promo. Then, when I face him in the match... I eke out a win, but he gets his heat back afterwards by beating the crap out of me with a chair. Well, except for the jobbing part, it's just like the real thing!

I thought Wal-Mart didn't even carry M-rated games? Anyway, throw the little bastards in jail for life and make 'em do hard labor till they die. Give them a large, hairy, burly cell mate.

It's not even so much than HHH sucks in the ring. It's that all the heels constantly look weak...but him (and other McMahons). HHH always looks strong, and almost never shows fear or worry or intimidation. Read Foley is Good where Mick goes over the Cactus Jack transformation scene--and it'll stick out at you just what is wrong with HHH's character now. NO CHALLENGERS DRAW BECAUSE NO CHALLENGERS LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE A CHANCE IN HELL OF WINNING!! It's not difficult to figure out. We don't know what the figures look like for Goldberg as a draw, but even he was made to look comparatively weak compared to HHH. If one of the persons in a feud doesn't look like he'll be able to compete, then there's no real intrigue for the big blowoff. However, ideally the heel looks strong going into the big blowoff and jobs. Usually this doesn't happen because Trips rarely jobs, but look at Raw--Goldberg looked rather weak, BUT he got the last shot in. Hence, most people aren't too optimistic that Goldberg will retain. The reason Ric and HHH's first title runs worked because you knew they were beatable. They didn't look like pusses, but they were able to be beaten, and you figured that on any given night, some one could finally take that strap from him. HHH these days almost never jobs these days except for tag matches, which WWE has trained the fans to believe means jack shit anyway.

Velocity was WAY better than Smackdown. Much better matches, and you dont have to sit through those long boring ass promos when you're live for Velocity. Maybe this is WWE's tradeoff to the smarks. They'll make Velocity awesome because they figure the smarks won't have much better to do on Saturday nights.
