I bet the side without a social life wins. Wait a minute... Not really, because there are plenty of both who do and some people are both. Anyway, being a wrestling fan in America is 20 times more shameful than even being an obsessive otaku.
-
Well, they aren't really behind with this one since it still is 2003, although typically sports games are ahead (Madden 2004 coming out in 2003, etc).

I kinda subscribe to the theory R.D. brought up in his mailbag (which isn't terribly new, but still) that Benoit doesn't care about the belt, he just takes pride in his work and wants to see how good his matches can be and how good a match he can drag out of subpar workers. If Benoit should get the belt, I wouldn't mind it basically being as a lifetime acheivement sort of thing before he retires. Maybe that's another reason HHH let Jericho have his crappy run--Jericho is basically content with having that Undisputed reign, as lousy as it was booked.
-
How is this bad news? The more likely Raw booking is to sink ratings the better.

Everybody say it with me now.... It's just like real life! Not really, because wrestling Nash is a hell of a lot harder than it should be. CM Funk: Kudos for insulting Sable. Incidentally, this game has the MOTHERF***ING WILD BOMB for Benoit and it looks awesome!! Kudos to Yukes for that. -
Anyone messing around with CAW find a version of the Stevie T without a pin, or something close? I want that move for my CAW but THE LOUSY FREAKIN' THING HAS TO GO AUTOMATICALLY INTO A PIN!! That sucks. Those would be Legends' moves, I believe. Yeah, this game favors hosses and discriminates against the cruisers.

Speaking of which, from 411mania... "Atlus is going to be publishing the GBA game King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood for the US market. There will be 21 characters, a story mode, and a special point system that will allow you to buy secrets. It'll be coming out this December. (Credit goes to Games Are Fun)"

Yeah, but who hasn't?
-
A friend of mine has it and loves it. I didn't play enough to decide anything other than "I want it," though. I ordered a new one for 10 bucks through Bestbuy, but it's on back order.

Rock style? American Strong Style.
-
Push a wrestling angle with 2 wrestlers? Yeah, right.
-
Maybe Taker will share his absorption powers with Bradshaw, and he can finally gain the skills of Hansen to match it. A few other notes: thank God that they apparently aren't setting up any angles involving Torrie. Apparently her s***ty week-to-week ratings clued them in that no one gives a flying f*** about her as a character. So they decided to have her come out, tease nudity/publically sucking Funaki off, then have her hit the bricks so she can go to her midgets-on-full-size-skank-gangbang she's attending or whatever. Yet, that segment could have easily been done like the Bourbon St. Bikini crap, since it didn't advance any angles or anything. And yes, I know not every TV show will have lots of wrestling on it, and I can accept that for the last show before the PPV, but that's the way it's been going and the way it's going to continue, so I'm not as forgiving. Yet, the dipshits have spoken, and they want as little wrestling as possible, skanks, and McMahons.

Thanks. And at least, we're rather certain Geese is dead in RB. By the way, what do you think about the KoF GBA titles? I played the first one, but ended up trading it with a friend. It seems a little loose control-wise, although it looks good at least. I heard the second one is much better but isn't out in the US nor planned to be released here.
-
So, we can download old SNES games, etc guilt-free? Even if said game is released as a GBA port and so forth?
-
I said I wouldn't let my kids watch WWE, I didn't say I wouldn't let them watch wrestling.
-
America is stupid. I rest my case.
-
Elementary school kids shouldn't be watching WWE. I wouldn't let my kids watch it if I had any.
-
Moot, because neither of those two would do anything of the sort.

What, only geeks like horribly plastic-surgeonized yaks like Torrie and Dawn? As for Matt, JR said he's a hoss and has potential. I believe he's one of the TE rejects that was sent to OVW. He's been pro 3 months, he's a product of the WWE farm system, and he's really tall and muscular--so 90%+ chance of him completely sucking ass. And a 5% chance of him maybe being as good as Albert someday.
-
This is Vince's fault, of course. *shrug* I don't see why they throw in "scripted matches" in there with the rest of those supposedly offending attributes.
-
Oh, okay. Now it makes sense--in WWE logic, at least. His skill would be approximate to who currently?

Well, they pushed him as some sort of serious Mr. USA babyface around 2001 and it didn't work. Nobody cares about Kurt UNLESS he is the "goof". Angle's basically a one trick pony. When they pushed him, allegedly, as a serious guy in 2001, he was still rather goofy, and was just ripping off old Austin schticks. Judging by the video packages before his comeback, I think he COULD play a serious guy and do it well, but...well...we haven't seen him really even try.
-
Well, I tried. Cool sig, though, Ren.
