That'd be awesome, and why the hell not? The demand is a hell of a lot greater than there was for that old PC title they released as Castlevania Chronicles. Throw in a minor enhancement or two, Ayami Kojima art, and you have yourself a bitchin', must-own title for the retro crowds.

Not that I care about this game, but Luna in Lunar 1 had the same situation going--different voice actress for speaking and singing parts. So it's not that unusual. ....I'm not touching that one. I have no doubts it will be your GOTY, though.

Like those who spoke up earlier, most of the WOW girls I've HEARD were extremely green. Plus, WWE isn't even making use of all the women now, so whoever would be signed would just be sitting around doing nothing most of the time, or would get a big push for a while, then be depushed for more of Trish or Lita.

Well, I'll give WWE one thing...at least they seem to finally realize WWE fans don't give half a shit about Generic OVW Vanilla Hoss #725 and decided to give him a personality/gimmick. The one he's got sucks, but at least it's a start. Got to do something about that bland offense, "just another hoss" look, and horribly unmarketable name.

Probably off-topic, but since it is your thread, mind if we make this also about the KoF 2000 and 2001 coming out on PS2, Ren? I'm psyched for it...but kinda upset that a print ad I saw for it said 2K1 would have 3D polygonal backgrounds--hope that means just added and not replacing the old ones. Ugh...horrible memories of Dream Match 99 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I think 2D sprites + 3D backgrounds usually isn't a good idea.

I've played a little of LoI and I'm planning to get the game. However, would you believe that there are a few fans bitching because of some storyline conflicts?

Neither combo seems to work. The first one you said has Medium attacks--which aren't in the game. That would need to be for EX Kyo anyway, and I'm not having any luck with it. Unless I'm just too slow. The second one I tried with both Kyos. The jump-in HP and qcf,qcf+P I can do. However, I can't seem to get in the ground HP. You didn't specify whether it was crouching or standing. If I try for the standing one, I end up getting Kyo's spinning-fire-uppercut-thingy. If I go for the crouching version, I get the Wicked Chew. If I try to pull the button combo off last second, it doesn't work because the standing HP knocks me back. I can get the super off, but when it comes out it is just far enough away so that it could be blocked between hits. I can do a combo into a special from the jumping HP to standing HP, but not a super.

I haven't seen the movie but what is wrong with Haoh being protrayed like Joe? Assuming you mean as a goofy egomaniac. That is what Haohmaru is like in the games... Yeah, except for the fact that he wasn't at all funny when he was supposed to be, and when he was supposed to be serious he was boring. Which is fine if he was just one of the six heroes resurrected 100 years after their deaths to stop Amakusa, BUT... It makes no bones about Haoh being the hero. THE hero. The rest are just filler, just helpless boobs along for the ride. The fate of the world rests on that jackass' shoulders, and he gets ALL of the character development, and 85%+ of screen time. They just rush to set up the main plot, so the other 5 basically show up to find him, no explanation of how they got together/remembered their past lives (or why they have the same names and dress the same), no development for any of them, no explanation of what got them together originally. Most unforgivably, the fights suck.

I don't consider myself a scrub--like I said, I have a good deal of knowledge, but actually applying it isn't going to be simple unless you have the game experience. I also have no interest in getting into tournaments or anything, so being extremely competent in fighters is my only goal. I don't know where those sites or "communities" would be, anyway. I've played Kyo as my primary character and did quite decent, but an Orochi Iori (ratio 2) and Terry (ditto) are still tough nuts to crack, so I won, albeit with difficulty. Although, once I started getting into it, I was whipping some ass. Using both versions of Kyo seems to work well for me. However, what's that about the Capcom groove and Kyo? I've honestly had a bitch of a time using the Serpent Wave in combos, and the computer seems easily able to knock me out of it if I start it at point-blank range. Going to be getting a guide for the game, though, so hopefully that should help. Jumping HP--I seem to have difficulty getting that to cross up. Does that Kyo combo work on CvS1?

Yes he was a mystery partner but how did Sable go about convincing him to be his partner? Up to that Point, Edge had yet to make his debut and all we knew about him was that he was a brooding outcast... Well, it's Sable. Take a wild guess how she convinced him.

Hey, from what I've read Raw's isn't any better with the Heatless Frenchies and the Done to Death Dudleys Yeah, but Raw's has sucked for a long time. Can you call 2 actual teams a "division?"

I remember when he got pinned in that RVD/Kane match, he was counted down, and as soon as the ref hit three and RVD got off him, he stood up and walked away. I thought that was hilarious. Didn't see it, but the thought is hilarious.

In theory, HHH should be less selfish now because his position is secure as long as he's on Steph's good side. He shouldn't be so paranoid about "threats" to his spot. He should realize WWE needs to make new stars to be successful again. In theory, Communism works though, too.

I try to be as unbiased as possible. For example, the Angle/Brock Iron Man match sucked. Angle/Benoit was good but not great. Plus, hasn't the IWC given Test credit for those two good matches he's had his entire career? I've dug Big Show's matches lately when he's been trying. SK isn't a reporter.

But it would be awesome to have a FF a AOF and a Kyo anime series which all interlink with each other in the form of Kof OVAs As long as it isn't made by any of the people who brought us the Samurai Shodown and Fatal Fury OVAs. Well, the Fatal Fury one I didn't like was the one with the armor of Mars and the annoying jailbait chick that was trying to hook up with Terry. That was "eh" at best. The Samurai Shodown one was terrible. Unmemorable, lame characters (at least how they were portrayed here) that didn't seem to act like they should (Joe Higashi as Haohmaru?) in a dull plot. Oh...and people bleed gallons of milk. Same themes, they share gratuitious religious references/imagery, both have their mind-fuck moments. I'm saying if they made a Xenogears OVA it would be critically ripped apart since it would come off as a blatant Evangelion clone. When some one makes a Fruedian slip of admitting it's not really much of a game, I'm going to pounce on the opportunity.
