Ah yes--one of my favorite types of post, the "Newest crap from Shopzone!" thread. I already used up my Lita jokes... The Austin package--great. Fock Fear shirt, a cheap mask, and a "pendant" for 35 bucks?! Fock that offer. Austin will probably promote it on TV while pouring beer on and stunning Christian. WMXX shirt is good, but again that logo looks too much like "XXV." Jesus, the closest thing to a good shirt that Angle's had in a long time is the Team Angle shirt. Taker shirt is just the newest old stuff in the "retro" line, no doubt taking advantage of the constant rumors of Taker going back to the old gimmick. Wrestlemania classic shirt is good, and Goldie's shirt's pretty decent. Overall, the best Shopzone stuff I've seen introduced in a long time. Much of it is old, though.

Right. Basically, it's as if they had actually kicked around the idea of a direct sequel long before they went with it with FFX-2. I actually don't mind every new game apparently taking place in a completely new world. Final Fantasies usually have no direct connection with each other storyline-wise, and I kinda prefer it that way since we get different characters then. So, I think for the first time they were debating a direct sequel. Although, the outcries for a way to revive Aeris or something else may have made them change their minds.

I'm not condoning it, I'm just stating my theory on why they do it.

It always thought that the situation was the same as in, say, the end of Sonic Adventure 2. You make an ending that leaves a question in the gamer's mind. The answer seems to be there, but is a bit nebulous. Why? JUST IN CASE you want to make a sequel that you have something to build on. Duh.

He spun the PPV match as a case of Shane trying to do anything humanly possible to beat Kane, but Kane being so resilient he failed. I'm sure he'd reply "oh it's only a house show," but I'm interested in what he has to say about this.

Why win at all? They spent a lot of money on the guy who is their current FACE CHAMPION so why the hell can't he squash some heel for the end of the show? That would be the logical thing. So what's your point? *points to sig*

Yup. *Points to sig* It was pointless. If you're having a feud, the heel should look strong up until the blowoff and the face should win the blowoff. Not only did first-heel-champ-to-walk-out-of-Mania-with-the-belt win at Mania, he won at JD too. (I think you can omit the Hogan feud and cup of tea with the title, since the feud continued right after that). Pointless except to make Jericho look like a bitch. Not that having to play second fiddle to Steph and not being treated like a real champ didn't ruin Jericho already. They did the same shit they did with Show's reign, and had his title defenses in the middle of the TV shows, and he couldn't win any without a belt shot or interference, even the lowliest of jobbers. If your the champ, either you should be treated like one or not even bother. The smarks begged for Jericho as champ, but when you ask Satan for something, you'll get it in the worst possible way.
