Didn't he get punked out by Mario Lopez in that episode? I think so, but I seem to recall him needing to do it with a fire extinguisher. No, not spraying it, but actually hitting him in the back of the head with it. This was 98-99, by the way, and HHH was the leader of DX at the time. And Trips stated that he's not really interested in movie stardom, but if was for a "dumptruck full of money" he'd be glad to do it.

It's just Conway, not both of them. Conway should dress up as a wrestlecrap-inducted gimmick every week. One week, Shockmaster, the next, Bezerker! The next, Bastion Booger! $ I tells ya! Yeah, I know, heel Doink wasn't WC inducted, but close enough.

Her team won a Divas tag match when she beat Gail Kim, I think. House shows, maybe--not that they count.

"and HHH's best work was Pacific Blue and Drew Carey Show..." Never heard of the former. However, HHH was able to be in an episode revolving around a jailbait porn starlet and it still sucked. Since then it's long been canned.

Has WWE declared this radio interview a fake yet?

I didn't see the match. However, I'm sure if Jag0 did he'll be glad to use this as ammo for his Morely markdom. So...just how is it possible to have a good match with Test that isn't a gimmick match, or a tag match with him standing on the apron for most of the time? Humor me.

Anyone else see this on the main page of the board, and click it expecting to hear Nash was injured?

I recall him saying he's not personally interested in tag team wrestling, and he broke up nearly every established WCW tag team, like the Steiners, Harlem Heat, etc. I'm not sure if he was the one in charge when Judy Bagwell became a tag team champion, but it would sound about right. I don't watch Heat, so pardon me for forgetting. They're likely looked at by the fans as jobbers anyway, right now.

I could understand WWE not pushing RVD to the f'n moon for his selling/working faults, and maybe even his attitude (WWE likes compliant kiss-asses). However, to not use him often as a high-profile midcarder is inexcusable considering how over he's been, even now. (Well, I guess the Kane feud kind of counts, but it's the first time in a long time, and RVD's gonna job) I guess he's so unhappy with WWE that he figures he's not going to sign an extention (which would be for less money than he's making now of course), and he figures he'd might as well get things off his chest now.

I find it kind of funny that Bischoff's show has a tag team division and a women's division, when he's said he doesn't care about women's wrestling and in real life he hates tag team wrestling. Yet those are the only titles he didn't abolish besides the "World" Title on Raw.
-
Two SETS of tag titles you mean. What's the point? You stumped me. While it's true to an extent that both rosters have tag teams patched together with singles wrestlers not doing anything, people actually give a crap about the SD tag titles. Of course, the SD tag titles were decided with an awesome tournament, SD has tag teams such as the Guerreros (or had), TWGTT, APA, Bashams, and FBI. There are/were some patchwork teams like Benoit/Rhyno, Tajiri/Eddy, Funaki/Tajiri, and the like. However, that's still a strong tag division. Raw? La Resistance and the Dudleyz. There aren't really any real tag teams besides those. Storm/Goldust is a possibility, Christian and Jericho team once in a blue moon, and you can stick Flair and Orton together for a tag team match sometimes. Other than that, though, nothing. Ideally, they could bust up La Resistance (the gimmick ran it's course after the war ended), and move the Dudleyz to Smackdown for a couple singles wrestlers, and just kill off the Raw tag titles. On the bright side, they haven't given 2 Dudes with Attitudes the tag titles yet.

Who was the only Horseman arguably as bad as STEVE "MONGO" McMICHAEL.

"Chrsi Benoit & Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio & Edge, No Mercy 2001" 2002. =P And no arguments there--MOTY IMO.

People WILL remember it. WWE showing clips of it constantly will help that too. =/

The World's Greatest Tag Team aren't defending their titles at SumSlam? And screw that noise, bps. You act as if Haas was terrible.
-
"Now, I don't really keep track of all the house show results, but I don't recall seeing HHH defending the belt in the ones I did read. " When HHH is reasonably healthy, he usually has a house show match, usually defending the title. Although he often works injured if he's able. That's one of the reasons that Vince likes him so much.

Just how bad will Jersey Girl be next year?
AndrewTS replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Television & Film
Pfft--it probably will be on DVD by then. -
Yeah, but I'm thinking if they wanted to do it right that they'd have to have Gowen act quite differently and moves act quite differently on him. It would take a hell of a lot of programming to do that. Probably they'll go the lazy route and treat it like the second leg is invisible--like Head's body in the Attitude game. I'd hate to have the game delayed for months because of freakin' Zach Gowen being programmed in correctly.
-
Well, there are certainly good reasons for putting him on either roster. At the worst he'll spice up Heat and at best he'll be tearing it up in Cruiserweight matches.

Isn't Shelton the guy who was being called a "future black Nature Boy?" I doubt it based only on the limitations of how good some one can get in WWE. But damn it if he isn't on the fast track to getting there. Haas is no slouch either, of course. However, I had a somewhat disconcerting revelation...sometimes when you're on one show and not doing much/are gimmickless, they plop you on the other show. Show, Orton, Mack/Red Dog... Jordan on Raw wouldn't be too exciting. Cena has always been better booked, and they've allowed O'Haire to fall off the face of the planet (i.e., he only wrestles on Velocity). O'Haire can't cut promos that aren't pre-taped and put together in slick video packages. Plus he's been toned down so that his ring work is blah--so not much going for him but his "look."
-
Shame! Yeah, a living legend--whom no one has heard of. HHH opted to emulate him as well as Ric Flair.
