He should remind them he's a former King of the Ring, making him equivalent to their Emperor, or head ninja.

I sure hope kayfabe lives on through John Cena. Maybe this was a Bradshaw pick but they figured they had enough of him on...

You know, it seems Cena is very pre-occupied with gay rape, you know, with this and many of his raps...

As much as I thought it was jizz myself, it looks like she's chewing on a piece of wheat or something. I guess she's supposed to be dressed as a good ol' gal. And I noticed the sparkly hair picture myself, but didn't think much of it...why does Nash's hair get so much attention around here?

I anyone really gonna buy this stupid book? People interested in investing will buy a more reputable book and anyone not interested in investing won't care. Okay, there might be a few dumb rednecks who bought some WWE stock who might buy it--but that can't be too many.

    Scotty 2 Hotty Is Back

Ah, okay. I suppose this was during the time the Saturday night show was still called Jakked/Metal, was on way late, and almost never had anything worth watching on. However, I assume I was right that he was left TV completely before the split?

    Scotty 2 Hotty Is Back

C'mon. His Backlash 2000 match with Malenko was ****. Scotty took a sick move to end the match as well. The name of the move escapes me now. Yeah--Scotty's a damn fine wrestler when he isn't pandering to the crowd with that asinine move of his. And if he were on SD, and were an over face and became Cruiserweight Champion, we might actually see the damn thing defended.

Hey! You got it! O.J.! Give him an O.J. Simpson gimmick! That'll be sure to get him over! Ah, I need to get this Russo-ology out of my head! Not your fault--I noticed his initials as I was typing that...I was going to add a comment, but thought better of it.

    Your state pride/shame

TokyoX: Well, there are lots of wrestlers who claim Venice Beach, California as their hometown... There aren't any Floridians so far, but they've got... Hogan Savage Rock Of course, I'd be ashamed of Scott Hall.

    Vengeance buyrate

Raw has star power? Hey, they had Foley refereeing the main event, and Mick has a very loyal fanbase. Also, while it may not be anywhere close to 1998 levels, Goldberg has one too. Not a fanbase devoted enough to buy a PPV because of him, according to Backlash's buyrate. And Foley being brought in for Bad Blood was a desperation move. Even WWE knew how much the show would suck.

    Scotty 2 Hotty Is Back

It was a neck injury that kept him out so long--I think he broke it, actually. If I recall correctly his last match was Angle "breaking" his ankle and him vanishing. Just because he's on a Raw house show doesn't mean he's returning to Raw. Often wrestlers return on the opposite roster until they're ready for TV again. SD is overflowing with talent and doesn't need him--plus his gimmick fits better with Raw, the "entertainment" show. And no, he wouldn't fit at all in with Cena, so I hope that's not being considered. I like his wrestlilng, although I hope the Worm never comes back. Chazz: When you're injured a long time, it seems an unspoken rule that you become a free agent. Was the roster split even in place when he left TV?

    Your state pride/shame

Also from Pennsylvania Pride ------ Kurt Angle ECW in general Bruno Sammartino Kidman (well, sorta) Blackman (borderline--but he has had some good matches) Shame -------- The Nasty Boys --was David Sammartino born here? Douglas I'm kinda indifferent about as well... Where was Jericho born? I know it was in America somewhere, I think it was New York.

    Bobby Heenan

Heenan! Heenan! Heenan!! I was cracking up over that list of Heenan quotes linked at the Wrestlecrap mailbag just the other day. Glad to hear he's better now. Is there a chance his voice can recover now? I'd actually watch Raw again if he took King's place.

    Orlando Jordan

Hehhe--it's debatable. Cena was positively gag-worthy when they shoved his vanilla, gay-trunks wearing ass down the fans' throats. However, he found a persona that fit him and he's going to be just fine. At least the stupid moonlighter gimmicks gave guys something to start with. I think if they start 'em off as vanillas (I still think O.J.'s a vanilla face even if he is black), and let them take up a persona that fits them later on, all's cool. However, don't try to push them too heavily as vanillas. And PLEASE enough of all these guys looking alike. I couldn't tell Cena and Orton apart at one time.

Question: Would he be better off instead of being a generic spunky up-and-comer if he were a....VIOLENT BASKETBALL PLAYER?!

    Val Venis

Chill, Jag0. By "average" I mean that his matches aren't bad and he's not one to have very good-great matches all the time. If you ACTUALLY THINK THAT TEST IS "AVERAGe" than I can see where you're coming from. Test isn't average. Test is just bad. And you've yet to address my other points--that the Venis gimmick's constant revival and his history of injuries prevents them from taking much of a risk with him. Okay, they want to push Batista and Orton, but--look at my sig. However, putting on spectacular matches isn't a requirement for a push in WWE. I don't hate Morely, it's just that I haven't seen too much to be impressed about in a long time. He hasn't had any good opponents to work with, and hasn't wrestled much--for all you know he may be unable to have good matches like he once did. Really, the only match I remember him having lately that was good was a tag match that I think was on Raw...I forget the participants but I know Storm was in it too. It was probably **1/2 stars or so. Better than almost all Raw matches, but not spectacular. I'd be inclined to debate for Rico/Storm being better--but they're in the same boat. Storm hasn't had a good match since he was in the tag division, because he's been resorting to chinlockery constantly, so I'm not counting him. Rico hasn't had a good match in WWE except for one match vs. Rey. So dispite the hype over Rico in OVW, Rico in WWE is nothing to write home about. His matches are now flat out boring since he's gotten the new gimmick--he at least had some neat moves he did when he got the rare Heat match prior. I think that one of Morely's strong points would be his mic skills. The sex joke intros as Val got old, but as Morely he showed good acting and mic skills. However, I have no interest in hearing him when he's back in Venis mode, since it's the same ol-same ol. He had a very good match with D'Lo I agree--I have Summerslam 98 on tape. But that was 5 years ago. A five year old match prior to injuries, constant depushes, bad gimmicks, and revivals of that gimmick doesn't seem a good basis for comparison to today. And best on the Raw roster? I sincerely doubt that. Until he's carried lumps like Steiner and Nash to decent matches AND had a MOTYC like Jericho had with HBK--Jericho is bar-none the best in my opinion. And every WWE match is repetitive? Suuuure...methinks you don't get SD. By repetitive, I mean that nearly any one of Val's matches are almost exactly the same. Same combos, same sequences, same moves. It's hard to fuck up doing the same match night in and night out.
