I honestly don't remember who was the one hit with the Hummer, but I do remember that running gag.

I don't know, but those pants are ugly. Okay. Mr. Ugly Pants with some token jobber offense!

Who is Jordan against here?
-
Orlando "NOT A VIOLENT BASKETBALL PLAYER!" Jordan.

How many times will they show Lesnar falling on his face?

Spanky looked like a young Popeye there.

The Flipping Neckbreaker is still ultra-contrived, but good little match.

Ultimo!

There was a first one?

Man, Taker sounds like a beginner at this "selling" thing. However, clipping this match makes it better than the initial full-length match.

Yeah, like (Fuck) Goldberg and (Justin) Bradshaw.

Yup, guess so.

I thought FBI was OVW bound?

Shouldn't it be "El uno y unico...?" I actually planned on starting a show thread with the title in Spanish a while ago in honor of Eddy's awesomeness on SD, but I couldn't remember how to say "only" and I lost my translation dictionary and textbook. =P Isn't there a Hart Foundation/Bulldogs match Jericho could have picked though instead of Bulldogs/Dream Team?

Office supply stores like Office Max, Staples, and Office Depot have them.

Savage's answer to "Hulk Rules?"

That's pretty damn funny, heheh. As long as no one was hurt. Although what's this 35+ crap coming from? Obviously if you think that you've never been to a metal concert in your life. I've been to a couple and seen a shitload of teenagers and 20-somethings. For Rolling Stone, yeah, likely their audience is older in general. However, AC/DC is classic 80's metal and has a rather broad audience. I was at the Maiden concert in Pittsburgh last night, Bruce alluded to this but I hadn't heard about it yet--pointed out that metal fans and pop fans are a vastly different breed. I don't like JT or his music, but he should be intelligent enough to know if he didn't go out there, scream like a motherfucker, play an ax, or anything of that sort, he was going to be crapped on.

I hate Taker using it, but he stopped using it, thank God. Could they have picked a worse name for it? When you have a move that's name is based on a song used in Office Max commercials, IT IS EXTREMELY UNCOOL! However, I'm not particularly attached to the move. It's still a sleeper--unless they have opponents tap out to it which is just stupid. It's not a unique or cool submission to me.

"I don't know who the WWE could get for play by play. I'd like either Ventura or Heyman on color though." Well, as Kevin Dunn decreed, whoever it shall be must be a "handsome young male."

It's funny because it's true. Although I've never seen him wrestle, I've heard his shooting star press is better than Kidman's. Who do you think will get to keep it as a finisher? Kidman's SSP sucks, so I wouldn't be suprised.

If Raw actually had good wrestling, I'd just use that wonderful mute button. Smackdown has Cole and Tazz. Cole acts as the company shill and face announcer. He can't call moves and tries to borrow JR's catchphrases. He sucks as a play by play guy because he just rambles on. Admittedly though, he usually rambles on about the angle if the match going on has one, or an angle that a participant or team is in. Tazz doesn't really act as a heel announcer, he kind of does sometimes, but he seems more neutral and face-ish to me. He explains psychology in matches and gives useful insight into the matches. Thus, they are the better team, although Cole could easily be replaced by a good play-by-play guy and then Tazz could add some quips in with his usually match-related commentary. JR runs through his catchphrases, sometimes calling the match and sometimes not. He oversells angles though, shows favoritism and generally gets annoying. King is mostly rambling, making perverse comments, and occasionally coming up with decent quips. However--SD has the wrestling to back that up. Raw doesn't really have that. You can turn off SD's sound and still have a good show. However, since Raw is so...well, not based on wrestling, it's less entertaining--or unintentionally hilarious--when the company shills are in the booth. However, JR annoys the hell out of me, and I'd rather have Vince back in the booth than to hear his bullshit anymore. SD has shown us that while in the past the best teams have been face-PBP guy acting as a straight man vs. heel color commentor who supports the heels unconditionally (even making excuses or accusing faces of doing things), that doesn't mean it is the only combination that works well.

1. 2001 with Nipple first taking over as head booker and prior to us even knowing Gerwitz' name had some bad angles and soap opera shit, but overall the angles were better and almost every PPV rocked. Gerwitz gives us retarded alleged "comedy" and goofy future wrestlecrap inductees. Stephanie conditionally, although I don't know what Gerwitz would do if he was completely in charge. 2. I'm not really knowledgable enough about the bookers to really decide who I'd want in charge.

He had his push pre-emptively killed for fear of that happening. Hence the completely FUCKING POINTLESS Hurri-Kane reign that went nowhere but making Kane look strong. Although I wouldn't want Crash in legal deep shit, I kinda wish he'd have beaten the shit out of Gerwitz and broke his nose. Someone oughta do it.

I would agree, but she fucked up by telegraphing it 30 seconds before actually decking Trish, so that doesn't count. Even the densest mark probably picked up on it before the clothesline the way she helped Trish up.
