The extra cost on TMNT kind of sucks. But what really sucks is that XBLA offers a far, *far* better value with its TMNT game. And correct me if I'm wrong, but in "real money" isn't TMNT XBLA cheaper? 5 bucks vs. 6 bucks?

MK1 was a serious "beer goggles" fighter. I no longer have Deception, but I think I have the bonus disc with MK1 on it lying around somewhere. I'm not sure where, though, which is unusual for me.

So the one person singing praises of the game is down on it because it costs an extra $1 than the other NES VC releases? I think I'll wait until Battletoads to get my VC masochistic NES platforming on. I did get Dragon's Curse, though. Pretty fun so far, but the backtracking when you die is annoying, especially when you get hit by cheap hits (damn cloud guys).

Note to self: get a better job or kill self before then.

600 points for TMNT? **** that. I think I'll get Dragon's Curse.

BS. MK1 is available on PS2 in the Kollector's Edition of Mortal Kombat Deception on the bonus disc. Armageddon's premium edition has UMK3.

Only Cell can handle KH3.

$100 Wi-fi accessory for 360? Oh yeah...120 GB price. Carry on.

One and Only Star Wars Geekiness Thread
AndrewTS replied to Black Lushus's topic in Television & Film
Agreed. And by "The more I watch" I mean "the first time I ever saw Episode 1." -
I wonder when whatever production company is in charge of this thing decides to cut their losses and hand the project to Boll. At least it'll get made. Hell, Alone in the Dark got made when the new game that was supposed to be released beside it ended up in a developmental hell it still hasn't escaped from.

We're moved to tears by your plight, Mole. It can still play blu-ray discs, right? That's all you wanted it for. Considering the high cost of the system and the fact that you need to BUY AN ACCESSORY TO USE OLD MEMORY CARDS ON IT (but thanks for the other ports on the 60 gig, Sony. That's really useful), it shouldn't be surprising Sony is nickle and diming as much as they can over the system. Of course, each of the companies is doing that to some extent.

I wonder how long mink stays on the project before the project falls into Alan Smithee's hands.

*laughs* A director who goes by one name pretty much always sucks.

http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/u...r_en&tt=url Screens of NiGHTs 2 for Wii which is TOTALLY NOT CONFIRMED yet. Complete with a half-decent babelfish translation from jeux-france. 2 Player Mode? Please do not **** this up, Sega. I believe there's a typo on one of those scans...Takeshi Iizuka is a Nintendo guy. Takashi Iizuka is the Sonic Team guy. Who worked on the original NiGHTs. But also worked on the 3D Sonics. And Shadow. Jesus.

And the slightly-above-average-though-not-nearly-as-good-as-No-Mercy Day of Reckoning series dies so that the painfully mediocre Smackdown series can live on, and just be ported onto every system alive. I already totally called it, despite being a year off. So I'm not at all surprised. I just really wish I was wrong.

Cheapasses like me don't want to buy a new TV. My 8-year old 26" still has life left in it thanks. I apologize in advance to any techheads I've horrified.

In future VC disappointment news, VC ratings have popped up on the ESRB site for the SNES' versions of Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Final Fight. Of course, there are much better, more recent versions of Street Fighter 2 available. Plus the GBA has a solid version of Final Fight already. But if you want a lame, watered down Final Fight with a missing stage, missing playable character, and no 2 player mode for nostalgia's sake, you should be satisfied. Or you could just pick up Capcom Classics Collection, which has the arcade version of Final Fight plus the arcade version of Street Fighter Turbo. And/or Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, which has SF3 Third Strike and Hyper SF2.

It's apparently going to be in Liberty City, at the very least.

Has that ever really been a concern? The PS2 games weren't very pretty until San Andreas.

Microsoft opted to make a proprietary design so they could charge more. Yet ironically, a standard hard drive will work for PS3.

Europe bought 600,000 PS3s, so Sony is calling it a big success. Of course, the UK bought over a quarter of 'em.

Yeah, EBA can be pretty sadistic. However, something that's great about the game is that people feel compelled to play past the lower difficulties. How many games can you say that about? EDIT: for some confusing verbage.
