This is guy who likes Wind Waker more than Ocarina and Mario Sunshine more than 64, BTW.

Tattoo Assassins: you may have heard of it because of the...two webpages that cover it. Finally, someone compiled a video of (most of? all?) the finishing moves. http://www.destructoid.com/buried-games-be....phtml#comments

They're set to Mingle so they should have came by now. However, I did get 4 from you, and sent B&B just now.

Coolest thing Rare has ever done: http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/viva-pinata/r...able-223108.php

Strange...you should have at least gotten some from us. I sent you B&B, BTW.

Remember that there aren't going to be as many Miis in your Plaza as in your Parade. Check the parade now and then--you can pluck Miis out of the parade and send them to the Plaza.

Jeremy Parish (from 1up.com) actually has over 500 in his parade now.

Which, like I said, is the biggest problem.

Okay, I stand corrected then. I spent something like 8-10 hours on X-2, which was way more than I could take.
-
I didn't really catch all of the great subtleties people harp on about X-2's battle system. It seemed like the same ol', but faster, the ability to chain, and those transformations/class changes. While it was the most visually impressive of the class-changing FFs, the options were much more limited than, say, a FFV, and like you said--there wasn't really any point to having a rich, diversified set of classes. And the writing and dialogue was migraine-inducing bad. I give it props for the attempts at a non-linear gameplay structure...but without any centralized, strong villian or even a major motivation for the quest(s), I couldn't bring myself to give a damn about the characters or plot.

LOL at how seriously GQ is taking this. Right about now is the point where Star Ocean 3 pops in to post "Xenogears."
-
Which is pretty much my point. I actually like some of the Final Fantasies, but it isn't like you have even gave given the LoZs a fair shake. X-2 is terrible, just admit it. Now go play that and tell me how good it is. Or go kill giant bunnies for hours in FFXI.

Well, Link is what we call him, but you can name him whatever you want (and conveniently his actual name is always lost to history); he could be the "legendary hero", "messenger of the gods," "hero of time," "hero of wind", whatever. He's a guy who will don the green tunic and Master Sword and save Hyrule (most of the time), but there are 8 distinctly different ones. It's kind of like Final Fantasy's Cid. Except Square just decided to begin doing Cid several games in, and he's a completely different character in each one.
-
The original poster was asking about the entire series. That includes crap like X-2, XI, and even those entries (many of which people think are the best) that are on non-Sony systems. A more appropriate poll would probably be Dragon Quest vs. Final Fantasy. But that would be a complete landslide, and an entire board making fun of Japan.
-
Yeah, but you're a soulless crab girl. We come to expect that notion from you. Final Fantasy VIII isn't even as good as Zelda 2.
-
Well, no, but okay... When did you play it last? Can't say I follow. You're still looking at very different genres. Good games/game series more similar to Zelda: Alundra, Beyond Oasis (and Legend of Oasis), Crystalis.
-
There was a FF vote...and it disappeared.
-
Good. I was hoping that the "trial version" didn't just mean that the first-come buyers would get the crap buggy version and everyone had to pay for the final.
-
Kind of a moot point, really, because they're not even close to the same genre. Although I think Zelda has maintained a higher level of quality (cdi games notwithstanding) than the FF games--depending on whether you count the spinoffs. However, I firmly believe Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy VII are the most overrated games of their respective times/consoles. But few people will admit to having the same love for FFVII now as they did back then.
-
Plus the game isn't even out (except for Japan), and they don't bother showing off a playable Resistance.
-
No update on Mario, either.

Hardcore Gamer actually has cellphone reviews in their print mags.

In Wii Sports Baseball, I threw a wicked pitch (94 MPH fastball), but the cpu hit it! ...went waaaaaaaaaay high up...and landed right into Miyagi's glove! He went on to catch a few more crazy hits too.
