  1. Was it necessary to mention Lesnar's weight? Is there a 95 pound Brock Lesnar running around?
  2. U.S. Title defense, number 2!
  3. Or maybe the plan is "tank the show intentionally so you have an excuse not to push the short Hispanic guy anymore."
  4. Yet another similarity. If Cowboy Bob accompanied Randy Orton, he'd be more over than Randy.
  5. Except for the theme music, it sounds like Orton just made his entrance.
  6. Hmm... Wasn't the last time the ring was filled with confetti, Shane attacked Kurt?
  7. Yeah, music videos are an art form reserved for great musicians, and shouldn't be tainted like that.
  8. Don't remake something if your remake isn't going to be equal to or superior to the original. I.E. House on Haunted Hill, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho. Nothing wrong with them that needed remade. A prequel to TCM?! Ugh. I'd like someone to take a bad movie, and remake it into something far better. How about that? At least you wouldn't run the risk of soiling a classic's good name at the worst.

  11. Rumble should deliver a strong buyrate, so this doesn't mean that much. However, I seem to recall that WMXIX was a big disappointment.
  12. Haven't we seen WWE completely switch focus on shows depending on which is going to be up for renewal, etc? Despite both shows being strong ratings grabbers for their respective networks, they usually give more attention to one if they think there's a remote chance of it being dropped. Smackdown was up for renewal, so they focused on that, and now they're mostly concentrating on Raw again. Despite Eddy as champ, Smackdown is getting less and less watchable. Raw's got more work put into it, but it's overwritten now. However, it's pathetic when Raw outshines Smackdown for weeks at a time for wrestling. I was scared Smackdown was going to be heavily pushing that Playboy angle we've been hearing about--haven't heard too much about it (in comparison to last year), but I'm not looking forward to it anyway.
  13. Iori Terry EDIT: Changed my vote.
  14. Hey, as a MiSTie, I get what you mean. That makes your love of MK more sensible. Time Killers and Bloodstorm--yeah you can kill people early in the fight, but those games suck. In Guilty Gear you can "DESTROY!" them early, however. You should check it out. In the original, you could do it at any time, but they made it a requirement for you to do another move first. Didn't Samurai have early fatalities? I can't say since all the games after II are really hard to find. If they added it to this MK, I'd prefer it be done like Guilty Gear X2. What about super moves? Put them in? As a fan of KI, what is your stance on Brutalities, Sakura? I thought they looked really lousy and were nearly impossible to do normally, so I would rather them not bother at all. I wouldn't want the auto-combos, myself...
  15. *Beware: Negativity Ahead* Oh, good. Now HHH and HBK have 2 full months to kill all of Benoit's heat and credibility. And by that time, they'll nix the title change, put him in a feud with Orton, and they can begin work on Edge.
  16. Excellent......what about Animalities and Babalities and Friendships and Mercy and level Fatalities and whatever the hell else they do? Those are all ghey, except for the stage fatals. Screw the rest. However, I wonder if they're considering insta-kills, early fatalities, etc. After all, they've appeared in some forms in KI, Guilty Gear, and a bunch of lesser-known fighters. If they'd be optional, there certainly is a possibility, I think.
  17. ...on the mic. That's it.
  18. "Would you take an unprotected powerbomb bump from Batista? The guys injured HIMSELF doing near nothing three times last year. " No, the funny part is that WWE is banking on this guy as a future main eventer, plus a month or two ago you'd be tripping over a Batista fan in this forum all the time.
  19. What's not to get? The inexperienced underdog Orton is valiantly trying to rid Raw of yet another greedy, spotlight-hogging fossil who doesn't know when to hang it up. Foley is a moron with 3 too many concussions who walks headlong into a shitkicking every week. It'll culminate in a final battle of G vs. E, with Orton triumphing and banishing Foley from Raw forever*. (* - in other words, for 4 weeks tops, or Foley goes to Smackdown) I find it hilarious that Foley, the ultimate bumpmaster, will not take an unprotected powerbomb from Batista.
  20. The A.I. in WoH is about on par with Metal Gear Solid--that is, really stupid. Not that I'm complaining, but it makes more sense here. I rented WoH...it's not really my thing, but I can objectively call it a good game. It's just not the type of game that strikes my fancy.
  21. It would be the least of their crimes...they've done far worse. Is this going to be animated or will they try to find a bunch of girls shameless enough to do live action? Basically, this will a 90 minute toy commercial, with the "stars" being like the Fashion Club in Daria, except that they'll be cast in a positive light. Major plot points will revolve around makeup, boys, crappy pop music (which will be plugged also). There will undoubtedly be a Happy Meal to go with it.
  22. In other words, they didn't write it in yet. Did it seem to anyone else that they didn't really like Sheeva? They kill her off, cut her from the 16-bit UMK3 games (memory limitations I know), don't bother bringing her back, and they let her be put in Annihilation.
