I agree. I thought in the last couple of months of WCW's existence that the product had begun to rebound and improve. It was weird to hear them refer to the Thunder and Nitro season finales when it ended up being the series finales for the shows. Also, it is strange to look at that tape and realize that with everyone Styles has pinned with the Syles clash, Kaz Hyashi is not one of them. Actually AJ got the duke on Kaz with the Clash at Final Battle 03.

They'll have one of these guys along with Punk. I'm sure one of the other two guys will be a big bumper. More likely to set up a final battle with MnM and Hardys anyways. Since WGTT doesn't seem to be a great issue right now. I'm not terribly familiar with Punk's work outside of the E, but would he really fit the bill? He seems more like a mat wrestler to me with a smattering of "ooh" and "aah" moves to keep the crowd in it. Edge can work a ladder match, and I'm fairly sure Booker can hold his own (I don't remember him doing a lot of ladder matches and/or hardcore matches in WCW and apart from the brawl with Austin don't remember a lot of it in the E either). What big bumper would the audience buy in the MitB match? Maybe Kendrick or London? They'd have to drop the belts this week in order to squeeze in to the remaining qualifying matches. From my understanding, seeds of Roddy's heel turn were planted when he won the FIP title. He'd been acting more and more like a jackass in FIP and ROH. Strong and Richards' Alliance also makes no sense to me because in FIP they hate each other, but in PWG they're former tag champs.

The only bad thing about this is that if a new viewer sees this match and decides to tune in later, he'll be confused as to why Christian Cage is a bad guy after saluting the fans.

They're young and they've got a lot of improvement to do. Their tag team finisher is bad ass if not a little contrived and ridiculous(A top rope double stomp-DVD-Lungblower?!). They also do way too many variations of a headlock takeover.
