    Max Payne 2

Max Payne 2 Release Date Rockstar Games and Remedy Entertainment announced today that Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne will be on US store shelves for the PC platform on October 15, 2003. Pre-order your copy by following the link to our "Buy Now" page above. Game Informer Preview Game Informer dedicates nine full pages to Max Payne 2 in their September 2003 issue, including a wealth of screenshots and in-depth gameplay coverage. For those of you not up on the classics of cinema, there's even a film noir primer to familiarize yourself with some of the inspirations for Max Payne 2's story and visual style. "... a tragedy with enough violence, intrigue, and diabolical plot twists to satisfy any fan of life’s seedier side... simply gorgeous. Seeing it in action, we marveled at the level of detail that Remedy has achieved. The nighttime city looks eerily real, as we saw rain splashing on the ground and neon lights reflecting on puddles and casting real-time shadows. During combat, shotgun blasts showered sparks off a parked van, which then exploded in a huge pyrotechnic display. Texturing has been improved exponentially, as has nearly every aspect of the game’s visuals… it would be difficult to bet against Max Payne 2.” Pick this issue up at newsstands now. Gamespy and Gamespot Previews Gamespy and Gamespot have posted their respective previews of Max Payne 2, both focusing on the new story elements and upgraded graphics. Each preview also includes exclusive screenshots, so be sure to click through to both for the most complete info and visuals. "Fans of the original game can rest assured that Max Payne 2 should easily surpass whatever bars the first game raised." - Gamespy "With improved real-time shadows, dynamic lighting and destructive elements, things really are getting pushed to the max (pun intended)... and maybe beyond." - Gamespy "Many, many aspects of the original game's presentation have been updated and improved for the sequel" - Gamespot Gamespy preview Gamespot preview IGN Preview "Though the bar for shooter graphics are being raised considerably by the next generation, Max Payne 2 looks good enough to jockey for position with the pack leaders." IGN's preview of Max Payne 2 has been posted, with a bit more information on the Havok physics engine and the new character animations in the game, as well as the obvious graphical upgrades. Click here to read the full article. Max Payne 2 CGW Cover Story The first details of Max Payne 2 have reached newsstands with an extended feature in the September 2003 issue of Computer Gaming World. With information on the game's plot and story, its newly beefed-up character A.I., and upgraded graphical effects complete with comments by lead designer Petri Järvilehto, your appetite will be sufficiently whetted. "More of Max Payne's singular brand of action can only be a good thing." "A breathtaking, original ballet of death." Remedy Confirms Max Payne 2 Mod Tools Max Payne 2 will ship with an improved modding toolset in the package, as confirmed by Remedy's Petri Jävilehto. Ten years ago today

Yeah, that's right. It defines a code of ethics, a code of honor, and a secret code. "Mortal Kombat adheres to many codes but does it contain one?" If you enter it right the letters turn red and Scorpion says "Get Over Here". Classic. Though you can also turn on blood on or off in the DULLARD cheat menu. Little bit of pointless trivia: In arcade MK and MK II Scorpion says both "Get over here" and "come here". On Genesis MK1 he has the "Get over here" while the SNES port used the "come here" line. In MK II they switched it, with Genesis getting "come here" and SNES getting "Get over here". but why did they change his lines
